Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(03):-
Objective:To discuss the clinical feature and treatment of second mesiobuccal canal (MB2)of permanent maxillary molars. Methods:The root canals of 106 maxillary first molars and 80 maxillary second molars were explored with small size K files. The frequency and morphology of root canals were recorded. The canals of all cases were instrumented by Ni-Ti rotary instruments Hero 642, and obturated with lateral condensation technique. The efficiency of preparation and obturation was analyzed with radiographs before and after treatment. Results:The frequency of MB2 canal in maxillary first and second molars were 82.1% and 45.0%. Most MB2 was very fine and negotiated by size 8 or 10 file combined with EDTA. No transportation, ledge, or perforation was found except that one hand file was separated. Good result of treatment was achieved in most cases. Conclusion:The incidence of MB2 canals of maxillary first molars was higher than that of second molars, and most of them were very fine. The MB2 canals can be negotiated with small size file combined with EDTA, and shaped well with Ni-Ti rotary instruments.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(03):-
Objective:To evaluate the shaping ability of nickel-titanium (NiTi) rotary instrument Hero 642 combined with SX of ProTaper in moderately and severely curved root canals.Methods:42 teeth with moderately and severely curved canals in 42 patients were prepared by Hero 642 and SX of ProTaper using crown-down technique and obturated with lateral condensation method. The efficiency of the preparation and obturation were analyzed by radiographs before and after treatment. Results:After preparation by the rotary instrument the original curvature and alignment of the canals were kept. No transportation, apical blockage, ledge or perforation was found in all cases. In one case, the file was broken during operation. After treatment light pain was complained in 4 cases and the pain alleviated and disappeared spontaneously. Conclusion:The NiTi rotary instrumentation technique with Hero 642 and ProTaper can be used to prepare curved root canals effectively and quickly.

AIM: To determine the relationship between the mutation of the RII gene and RER status in the tumorigenesis of sporadic colorectal cancer. METHODS: We screened RER status and mutation of the RII gene from 50 sporadic colorectal cancers (19 in the proximal colon, 31 in the distal colorectum). RESULTS: RER was found in 13 cases (8 in the proximal colon, 5 in the distal colorectum), and 5 of them showed mutations of the RII gene. All 5 cancers carrying a TGF-? RII gene mutation showed RER+, but there wasn't any mutation of RII gene in RER(-) cases. Four of 5 RII mutation were located at the cecum. CONCLUSION: These data indicate that the TGF-? RII gene is a major target of microsatellite instability and mutation of the RII gene play an important role in carcinogenesis of sporadic colorectal cancer with microsatellite instability, especially at the cecum. Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1993;0(05):-
Tablet 912 - II. active ingredients from Fructus Tribuli, was applied for treating 40 cases of cerebral vascular disorders. After a course of 3 months, it was found that the tablet markedly improved the clincal symptoms, lowered the blood viscosity, regulated platelet functions, ameliorated the microcirculation, increased the cerebral blood flow. When compared with Carlan tablet, the action of improving clinical manifestations was basically the same, while for that of correlated clinical indices, 912-II is better than the latter tablet.

OBJECTIVE To study the medical instruments, packs, and textile goods disinfected and sterilized in a hospital. METHODS Totally 432 of surgical instruments were randomly divided into 4 groups. They were washing by hands and machines and detected their blood residue. RESULTS Using the multi-enzyme detergent was more effective than unused. It was helpful for the contaminated medical instruments clean by multi-enzyme detergent for(2 min). CONCLUSIONS It is important for assure the quality of the disinfection and sterilization to proper cleaning and the care of the medical instruments.

OBJECTIVE To apply 3M standardized chemical indicator(CI) process challenge device(PCD) to the practice of batch monitoring to guarantee sterility assurance.METHODS The standardized CI PCD and biological indicator(BI) PCD to two different sterilizers were applied with the test parameters of 132 ℃,3.5min and 8min,and 134 ℃,3.5min and 8min,respectively.RESULTS A total of 310 trials of CI PCD were obtained as negative results, with the ink moved into the accept area of the moving-front style indicator, and 240 trials of BI PCD were obtained as negative results.CONCLUSIONS Standardized CI PCD can provide further sterility assurance with more accurate monitoring and batch release capabilities.

AIM:To study whether or not Huangshao Yinxue Granula(HYG) has the therapeutic effect on experimental psoriasis. METHODS: The mice were treated with HYG 3.125,6.25,12.5,and 25 g/kg(i.g.) for 1 or 2 weeks. We studied the effects of HYG on mitosis in mice vagina epithelium, the formation of granular layer in scale epidermis of mice tails, the changes in CD3, CD4 and CD8 factors of the serum in psoriasis-like mice and guinea-pigs. RESULTS: HYG could inhibit the mitosis in mice vagina epithelium, promote the formation of granular layer in scale epidermis of mice tails. It could also diminish the value of serum CD4/CD8 of mice to regulate abnormal immune reaction.HYG had evident therapeutic effect on the ear skin damaged with 5% propanolol in psoriasis-like guinea-pigs. CONCLUSION: HYG has therapeutic effect on psoriasis-like animal models.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2014;(8):771-773
Because of ignoring the basic knowledge training, the medicine graduates lack ba-sic knowledge of clinical pathology, which has seriously affected their improvement of medical skills. The paper analyzes the status of pathology teaching in clinical medicine graduates and the necessity to strengthen clinical pathology general education. Then it proposes measures about enhancing clinical pathology general education, so as to increase the basic clinical pathology knowledge of medical grad-uates.
