Objective: To observe and summarize the routine maintenance situation, and research relevant countermeasure and provide the optimal solution based on the problems in maintenance of medical equipment. Methods: To adopt SWOT method to analyze the problem of equipment maintenance, and make effective countermeasures by using relevant statistical methods. Results: The SWOT method that was applied in maintenance work has improved accuracy of maintenance work for equipment, and increased operation rate of equipment and serviceability rate, at the same time, the satisfied degree of medical staffs and patients has been increased. Conclusion: Through SWOT method to analyze the situation of maintenance for equipment, the work key points can be effectively improved, and the blindness and dead ends of equipment maintenance management can be found. Therefore, this method can reduce the labour intensity of maintenance staffs, increase work efficiency, and provide essential guarantee for medical work of hospital.

Sclerosing angiomatoid nodular transformation (SANT) is a rarely encountered benign spleen lesion which has recently been gaining recognition. However,the actual pathogenesis of this disease remains unclear.SANT's remarkably characteristic appearance consists grossly of multiple well-circumscribed vascular/angiomatoid nodules of various sizes in a fibrosclerotic stroma. Immunohistochemical studies display a heterogeneous staining pattern of endothelial phenotypes in the angiomatoid nodules,with some cells resembling splenic sinusoids (CD34 -/CD31 +/CD8 + ),capillaries (CD34 +/CD31 +/CD8 - ) and small veins (CD34 -/CD31+/CD8-).Due to the rarity of this disease,it is often mistaken for splenic hamartoma,inflammatory pseudotumor,littoral cell angima or hemangioendothelioma. So far,SANT exhibits a benign clinical course because splenectomy can be curative.In this review,we outline the clinical and pathologic features of SANT and discuss its probable disease mechanism to provide a holistic overview of the disease at this time.

Objective To study the effect of lumbrokinase treatment on hemorheology, glucose and lipids of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Methods 76 cases with T2DM whose blood glucose was controlled at FPG<8mmol/L and 2hPG<11mmol/L were involved in the study. All patients were divided into two groups:lumbrokinase (600ku tid for eight weeks) group (n=40) and control group (n=36). The levels of the blood rheology, glucose and lipids were measured. Results The levels of the whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, fibrinogen, platelet aggregation rate and triglyceride were decreased in lumbrokinas group as compared with control groups (all P<0.01).There were no differences in FPG and 2hPG between two groups(P>0.05). Conclusions Lumbrokinase can decrease the levels of the blood rheology and triglyceride in T2DM. It may prevent and cure the complication of diabetes mellitus

Objective To explore the preventive and therapeutic effect of recombinant human interleukin-11(rhIL-11) on thrombocytopenia in children with non-lymphocytic leukemia after chemotherapy.Methods Sixteen children who had non-lymphocytic leukemia were divided into 2 groups by randomization,including a therapeutic group and a control group.RhIL-11[50 ?g/(kg?d)] was injected subcutaneously 24 h after chemiotherapy in the therapeutic group,and applied consecutively 10-14 days,and the control group was treated without RhIL-11.Duration of the thrombocytopenia,infusion of blood platelet,diversity of blood platelets counts and adverse effect were observed of the 2 groups.Differences between groups were examined using statistics analysis.Results There were 16 case-times(59.3%) in the therapeutic group that of could be cured without platelet transfusion,but that of control group only had 3 case-times(14.3%);the diffe-rence between 2 groups was significant(P

AIM: To observe the effect of glycine on the myocardial ischemic injury in mice METHODS: Mice were supplied with 20% glycine twice daily (0 025 mL/g, ig), or 40% Injection salviae miltiorrhizae composita (ISMC, 0 025 mL/g, ig) One week later, 0 02 U/g pituitrin was injected intraperitoneally The electrocardiogram was recorded, and activities of nitric oxide synthase (NOS), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the content of malondiadehyde (MDA) in the myocardium were examined RESULTS: Glycine reduced changes in J spot in electrocardiogram Both glycine and ISMC increased activities of SOD and NOS, inhibited increase in MDA content in the myocardium induced by pituitrin There was no difference in above parameters between glycine-treated and ISMC-treated mice. CONCLUSION: These results demonstrated that glycine can protect myocardium from ischemic injury, the mechanism may be related to increase in activities of NOS, SOD and supressing the lipid peroxidation.

Aim To study the application status of odds ratio for medical animal experiments.Methods Odds ratio and seven kinds of animal models were used as retrieval strategy to search medical animal experiment related papers in several Chinese and English databases.Papers relating to each kind of animal model and using odds ratio in abstract and text were counted. Data from different databases were compared. Calculation of odds ratio was exemplified and the significance of different odds ratio values was illustrated in this paper.Results Few medical animal experiments cited odds ratio as statistics.Conclusions The importance of odds ratio has not been fully recognized in Chinese references.

Objective To setup a platform for genetic diagnosis of Cryopyrin associated periodic syndrome (CAPS) and to use it for clinical diagnosis.Methods The peripheral blood cells of the patient and the controls were collected for DNA extraction.Nine exons of CAPS associated gene NLRP3 were amplified using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and subjected to sequencing.Blast was used to compare the sequencing results with the reference gene and to locate mutation.The clinical information of the patient was collected and the relevant literature was reviewed.Results We set up a platform for exon sequencing of NLRP3 gene.Using this platform,we identified a nonsynonymous mutation in a female patient (D303N,aspartic acid at locus 303 mutated to asparagine).Considering the clinical manifestations of the patient,chronic infantile neurologic cutaneous and articular syndrome (CINCA) was diagnosed.Conclusion The set up of the platform for NLRP3 genetic analysis will facilitate the clinical awareness and research on CAPS.

Objeetive To explore the value of antisense imaging of 99Tcm-labeled ASON targeting mouse double minute 2(MDM2) mRNA for the diagnosis of human prostate cancer.Methods The ASON targeting MDM2 mRNA and the mismatched oligonucleotide (ASONM) were synthesized and radiolabeled with 99Tcm using the bifunctional chelator HYNIC.The labeling efficiency and radiochemical purity were investigated.Animal models of nude mice bearing human prostate cancer LNCaP were established and divided into 3 groups with 10 mice in each group.99Tcm-HYNIC-ASON,99Tcm-HYNIC-ASONM (study groups) and 99TcmO4-(control group) were injected at the dose of 7.4 MBq through the tail vein,respectively.Tumor imaging was acquired with SPECT and the tumor-to-muscle (T/M) ratio was measured.The data was compared by one-way analysis of variance.Results The labeling efficiencies of ASON and ASONM were (65.15± 2.05) ％ and (64.93±2.18) ％,respectively.Their radiochemical purity was greater than 90％.At 1,4 and 10 h post injection,the T/M ratios of 99Tcm-HYNIC-ASON group were 3.217±0.125,3.749± 0.201 and 4.028±0.186,and those of 99Tcm-HYNIC-ASONM group were 1.579t0.128,1.715±1.140 and 1.683±0.139,and control group 2.146±0.132,1.847±0.124,1.528±0.152,respectively.The T/M ratios in control group and 99Tcm-HYNIC-ASONM group were significantly lower than those in 99Tcm-HYNICASON group at 1,4 and 10 h,respectively (F=213.37-235.41,t=3.527-4.738; all P＜0.01).The T/M ratios of 99Tcm-HYNIC-ASONM group and control group were not significantly different at 1,4 and 10 h (t=2.154,2.287 and 2.236,all P＞0.05).Conclusion The antisense probe of MDM2 can accumulate specifically in prostate cancer tissue in animal models,which might be useful as a non-invasive genetic tool for the early diagnosis of prostate cancer.
