Objective: The study examined adolescents' obedience,justifications,and feelings to parental authority as well as their interrelation in parent-adolescent conflict situations.Methods: 538 adolescents aged 10-to 18-year-old were investigated by questionnaires in light of different domains(personal,conventional,and friendship domains)selected from Smetana(2000).Results: ①The results suggested that their obedience to parental authority changed with different domains,as well as their justifications and feelings;②Adolescents' justifications of obedience focused on conventional rules,knowledgeable attributes,reciprocal relationships and physical consequences;③There were more negative feelings than neural or positive ones accompanied with their obedience;④Their justifications and feelings were different between obedience and disobedience groups,the conventional-rule-attribute was significantly correlated with negative feelings in both of obedience and disobedience groups,and the knowledgeable-attribute was significantly correlated with positive feelings in obedience group.Conclusion: Adolescents' conceptions of parental authority are domain-specific,and their obedience,justifications and feelings interrelate with each other.

The qi deficiency of spleen and kidney is the fundamental aspect, while the blood stasis is the surface aspect. Excess resulted from deficiency, intermingled deficiency and excess, belong to asthenia in origin and asthenia in superficiality. Clinical application of method of invigorating qi, removing blood stasis and eliminating stagnation for diabetic cystopathy has a good clinical efficacy.

Objective To find convenient methods for remote consultation of images of ocular fundus diseases. Methods A remote consultation system composed of internet was set up.The consultation information,including images,words and figures,was published on internet as web pages,so that the consultants would get the notice and the appointment by e mail.After reading the information on line,the consultants gave their opinions back to internet. Results The remote consultation system of images of ocular fundus diseases was setted up and managed successfully,and 23 patients had been diagnosed by this system. Conclusion The system which has clinical practicality is a simple,quick,effective and economic method for remote consultation of images of ocular fundus diseases. [

Objective: To explore the particularity of high school students’ problem behaviors with three-perspective analysis. Methods: Students,parents and teachers were tested by High School Students’ Problem Behavior Questionnaire based on item analysis of open-ended investigation. Results: ①Concerning the identification of problem behaviors,the behaviors such as taking drugs,committing suicide,and stealing got higher scores by students’ self-rating; the behaviors such as running away from home,stealing,and intimidating got higher scores by parent-rating; and the behaviors such as cheating,learning without motivation or objective,and bad learning habits got higher scores by teacher-rating. ②Students,parents and teachers all agreed on the following high frequency problem behaviors; worrying about scores,rarely doing housework,concentration deficits and bad learning habits. ③The frequencies of problem behaviors reported by students were higher than those by their parents. Conclusion: There are significant differences in the identification of problem behaviors among students,parents and teachers,however,the three parts have similar views on the most common problem behaviors.

Objective To investigate the effect of daphnetin on superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and DNA synthesis in P. falciparum in vitro. Methods The effect of daphnetin, daphnetin-Fe complex and desferrioxamine B on SOD activity of P. falciparum (P. f) FOCI in vitro was determined with a SOD test-kit. The level of DNA synthesis of P. f synchronized cultured in vitro at various developmental stages after treatment of daphnetin or desferrioxamine B was assayed by fluorescein Hoechest 33258. Results The total SOD activity decreased by 60% after daphnetin treatment while it only decreased by 22% if treated with desferrioxamine B. No effect on SOD activity of P. f treated with daphnetin-Fe complex was observed. The level of DNA synthesis of P. f trophozoites in synchronized in vitro culture was significantly lower than that of the control. Conclusion Daphnetin lowered SOD activity and decreased DNA synthesis of P. f in vitro.

Objective To analyze the clinical value of sTNFR-1,sIL-2Ra and IGF-1 on depression in patients with esophageal cancer by comprehensive nursing intervention and explore the possibility of serum indicators to replace DSI and HAMD. Methods 120 patients with pathologically confirmed esophageal cancer were included in the study.Zung depression status inventory (DSI)and hamilton depression rating scale (HAMD)were used to assess depression.Serum sTNFR-1,sIL-2Ra and IGF-1were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Results 69 patients were classified as anxiety and depression group,51 patients were as normal control group.There were 32 patients with depression.Serum sTNFR-1, sIL-2Ra and IGF-1 levels in study group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05)and these serological indexs increased from the minimal depression,mild-to-moderate depression group to severe depression group (P<0.05).Conclusion Serum sTNFR-1,sIL-2Ra and IGF-1 levels may be used as evaluation index of nursing intervention,but need further clini-cal validation.

To study the angiogenic activity of amphoteric brush-type copolymer complex of alginate-graft-PEI/pVEGF (Alg-g-PEI/pVEGF) in vivo, we evaluated the toxicity of Alg-g-PEI/pVEGF complexes to rMSCs and zebra fish first. Then, we used gel retardation assay to investigate the protection of complex to pDNA against DNase I, serum and heparin. For in vivo study, we evaluated the angiogenic activity of Alg-g-PEI/pVEGF complexes by using CAM and zebra fish as animal models, PEI 25K/pVEGF and saline as positive and negative controls. Our results show that Alg-g-PEI protected pVEGF from enzymolysis and displacement of heparin in some degree, and its complexes with pVEGF were less toxic to rMSCs and zebra fish. Alg-g-PEI/pVEGF complexes induced significant angiogenesis, which was dosage-dependent. In CAM, when the dosage of pVEGF was 2.4 microg/CAM, Alg-g-PEI group achieved the maximum of angiogenesis, and the area ratio of vessel to the total surface was 44.04%, which is higher than PEI 25K group (35.90%) and saline group (24.03%) (**P < 0.01). In zebra fish, the angiogenesis increased with the increase of N/P ratios of Alg-g-PEI/pVEGF complexes in our studied range; when N/P ratio was 110, the optimal angiogenesis was obtained with vessel length of 1.11 mm and area of 1.70 x 10(3) pixels, which is higher than saline group (0.69 mm and 0.94 x 10(3) pixels) (**P < 0.01) and PEI 25k group (0.82 mm and 1.11 x 10(3) pixels) (**P < 0.01). Our results demonstratethat Alg-g-PEI/pVEGF significantly induces angiogenesis in CAM and zebra fish, and has a great potential in therapeutic angiogenesis.

Objective:To explore whether apoptotic ovarian cancer cells induced by chemotherapy drugs paclitaxel and cisplatin can be cross-presented by dendritic cells(DCs) and enhance immune responses.Methods:DCs were induced from peripheral blood monocytes cells by GM-CSF/IL-4 for 6 d,then they were stimulated with either apoptotic ovarian cancer HO8910 cells,frozen-thawed HO8910 cells or control cells for 4 h.Their surface markers and phagocytotic ability were detected by flow cytometry and confocal microscopic scanning assay,respectively.DCs of different groups were cultured with CD8+ T cells isolated by magnetic cell sorting,and the ability of DCs to activate CD8+ T cells was evaluated by 3H-TdR,the activity of CTL to kill tumor cells was evaluated by LDH.Production of IFN-? by CD8+ T cells was measured by ELISPOT.Results:Apoptotic ovarian cancer cells induced by chemotherapy drugs paclitaxel and cisplatin could be phagocytized by DCs,which subsequently promoted the maturation and antigen presenting ability of DCs.Apoptotic ovarian cancer cells implused DCs significantly promoted proliferation of CD8+ T cells compared with that of control cells(P

Background The assessment of total corneal power is essential to both the prediction of intraocular lens power before cataract surgery and the diagnosis of corneal ectasia.Objective This study was to access the repeatability of corneal power measurements in post-laser assisted in-situ keratomileusis (LASIK) eyes with GalileiⅡ dual Scheimpflug analyzer.Methods In this cross-sectional study,68 eyes of 36 subjects who received LASIK surgery more than 3 months in Eye Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University were recruited from July to September in 2011.The mean preoperative spherical equivalent diopter was (-4.95±2.08) D in the subjects with the diopter range from-1.75 D to-10.00 D.The parameters of corneal power were measured by Galilei Ⅱ dual Scheimpflug analyzer,including SimK,Ka,Kp,KG and Kray.Three-time consecutive measurements were completed in every examined eye to obtain the data of SimK,Ka,Kp,KG and Kray,respectively.The coefficient of variation (CV),standard deviation (SD),Cronbach α coefficient and intra-class correlation coefficient (ICC) were calculated to evaluate the repeatability.Concordance between the different measurements was assessed using Bland-Altman agreement analysis.This study followed the Helsinki Declaration,all subjects signed informed consent.Results The CVs of three-time measured SimK,Ka,Kp,KG and Kray were 0.24％,0.28％,-0.37％,0.31％ and 0.32％,respectively,and the Cronbach α values were ＞0.9 and the ICCs were ＞0.982.The Bland-Altman analysis between different measurements showed that the maximum 95％ limits of agreement (LoA) were 0.37 D for SimK,0.46 D for Ka,0.09 D for Kp,0.45 D for KG and 0.49 D for Kray,respectively.Conclusions The Galilei Ⅱ dual Scheimpflug analyzer performed high repeatability and concordance on corneal power measurements in post-LASIK eyes.The differences between measuring results are clinically acceptable.

Background Keratoconus is a progressive corneal thinning and protrusion disease that develop in the age of puberty,resulting in a certain extent impairment of visual function.Corneal collagen cross-linking (CXL) increases the stiffness of the cornea through the photooxidation of ultraviolet A (UVA) and riboflavin,with the aim to postpone and prevent the progression of keratoectasia.Objective This study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of transepithelial CXL in the treatment of pediatric keratoconus.Methods Ten eyes of 9 pediatric patients with keratoconus undergoing transepithelial CXL were enrolled from February 2010 to March 2013 in Affiliated Eye Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University,with the mean age was (15± 1) years (range from 13 years to 17 years).After topical anesthesia (0.1％ tetracaine) for 15 minutes,0.5％ riboflavin was applied until it was saturated in the anterior chamber,then UVA with the intensity of 3 mW/cm2 was performed on the cornea for 30 minutes.The uncorrected distance visual acuity (UDVA),corrected distance visual acuity (CDVA),refractive error,topography,corneal thinnest thickness were measured 7 days,1 month,3 months,6 months and 1 year after operation.Endothelium cell density (ECD) was measured 7 days afier operative.Results The mean corneal reepithelization time was (1.4±0.8) days.The UDVA and CDVA were significantly improved from preoperative 1.02±0.16 and 0.34±0.20 to postoperative 0.77±0.18 and 0.25 ±0.15,respectively (t =4.251,3.750;both at P＜0.05).The refractive sphere and spherical equivalent significantly changed from preoperative (-7.15±3.00)D and (-9.26±3.23)D to postoperative (-5.28±2.05) D and (-7.05±2.08) D 1 year,respectively (t =-2.515,-2.597;both at P＜0.05).Maximum Kvalue (Kmax) was significantly decreased from preoperative (64.1 ± 11.9) D to postoperative (61.8 ± 10.4) D (t =2.304,P＜0.05).The refractive cylinder,corneal thinnest thickness and ECD showed no significant differences between preoperation and postoperation (t =-1.331,0.328,1.205;all at P＞0.05).Stromal opacity was observed in 2 eyes 3 months and 6 months after operation,respectively.Conclusions Transepithelial CXL is safe and effective in prolonging or halting progression in adolescent keratoconus.
