Objective To study the correlation between serum lipids and thyroid function after withdrawn of thyroid hormone in the patients with differentiated thyroid cancer .Methods One hundred and thirty cases of differentiated thyroid carcinoma treated by operative therapy in our hospital form August 2014 to August 2015 were selected .Serum FT4 ,TSH ,FT3 ,triglyceride ,total cho-lesterol ,LDL-C ,HDL-C indexes were detected before discontinuation of levothyroxine sodium (L-T4) ,before operation and 3 weeks after drug withdrawn .Thus the correlation between blood lipid levels and thyroid function was analyzed .Results The HDL-C and the TSH level was positively related before operation (P<0 .05) ,other indexes had no obvious correlation with thyroid function (P>0 .05);the blood lipid levels after medication withdrawn had no obvious correlation with thyroid function (P>0 .05);the total cholesterol levels after medication discontinuation had negative correlation with FT 3 and FT4 levels(P<0 .05);HDL-C was nega-tively correlated with FT3 and FT4 levels(P<0 .05) ,and positively correlated with TSH level (P<0 .05);LDL-C was negatively correlated with FT4 (P<0 .05) .Conclusion When the application treatment of thyroid hormone is suspended ,with the TSH level increase ,the HDL-C level has somewhat elevation ;total cholesterol ,HDL-C and LDL-C levels are negatively correlated with FT 3 and FT4 ,after discontinuation of medication withdrawn ,the blood lipids metabolism abnormality is closely related with thyroid function decline .

Objective To describe MRI findings of acute spinal cord decompression sickness. Methods MRI findings of 5 cases with clinical definite acute spinal cord decompression sickness were retrospectively analyzed. The main clinical informations included underwater performance history against regulations,short-term complete or incomplete spinal cord injury symptoms after fast going out of water, sensory disability and urinary and fecal incontinence, etc. Results Spinal cord vacuole sign was found in all 5 cases.Iso-signal intensity(n=3),high signal intensity(n=1),and low signal intensity (n=1)was demonstrated on T1 WI,and high signal intensity(n=5)was found on T2 WI.Owl eye sign was detected in 3 cases, and lacune foci were seen in 2 cases. Conclusion MRI findings of acute spinal cord decompression sickness had some characteristics, and it was easy to diagnose by combining diving history with clinical manifestations.

Bacillus pumilus X-6-9 isolated from soil and subsequently identified, produced xylooligosaccharides with long chains from xylan and accumulated them in the culture. By improving the culture conditions and mutating the bacterium, a 3.2-fold increase in the production of the xylooligosaccharides was established, when compared to the original culture conditions of B. pumilus X-6-19. The addition of D-glucose to the culture of the mutant strain U-3 of B. pumilus X-6-9 repressed the synthesis of beta-xylosidase, but not xylanase. Thus, it was revealed that strain U-3 was a good organism for the production and accumulation of xylooligosaccharides with long chains from xylan by a microbial culture. Xylanase produced by strain U-3 was purified to homogeneity and characterized. The hydrolyzates generated by the purified xylanase contained xylobiose, xylotriose, xylotetraose, and xylopentaose, but not xylose.
