OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy and transdermal absorption of Suhong bone-penetrating massage drug for rheumatic arthralgia. METHODS:Suhong bone-penetrating massage drug(Chinese medicine) was applied in 300 cases with rheumatic arthralgia characterized by various symptoms such as bone spur, injury, scapulohumeral periarthritis, acute injury or chronic strain of articular surrounding soft tissue; Suhongtougu powder was used as control to treat another 120 cases with the same disease. The curative efficacies in two groups were compared. The effects of the effective components such as Muskone,Borneo Camphor,Menthol in Suhong bone-penetrating massage drug on the transdermal absorption of this preparation was investigated by transdermal test on mice. Objective To find out the proper concentration of ZnSO4?7H2O as foliar fertilizer used for Pinellia ternata, and to provide reference for high yield of P.ternate,effects of zinc on the carbon and nitrogen metabolism in leaves of P.ternata and the yield were studied.Methods Seedlings of P.ternata were employed as the experiment material.At the stage of full seedling,ZnSO4?7H2O of different concentration was sprayed on the leaves,the indexes of carbon and nitrogen metabolism were determined on the day 10,the weight of tubers and bulbils were measured at the sprout tumble stage.Results The yield of P.ternata has an exceedingly significant positive correlation with the contents of soluble sucrose and starch in the leaves,a significant positive correlation with the content of photosynthetic pigment and the aldolase activity,and a negative correlation with the amylase activity.In addition,the yield shows both an exceedingly significant positive correlation whith the nitrate reductase activity and a significant positive correlation with the content of protein.At the stage of full seedling,zinc sprayed on leaves can increase the content of photosynthetic pigment and improve the capability of photosynthesis.Meanwhile,spraying zinc can also promote the accumulation of soluble sucrose and starch in the leaves because of its stimulation on aldolase and inhibition on amylase.Besides,spraying zinc on leaves could improve the activity of nitrate reductase and the content of protein,and finally increase the yield of P.ternata.Conclusion The concentration of 600 mg/L is the best for ZnSO4?7H2O used as foliar fertilizer for P.ternate at the stage of full seedling.

Objective: To study the influences of Tiaozhixin(TZX) on NO/ET, 6 keto PGF 1a /TXB 2 and hemorrheology rats with hyperlipoidemia. Methods: The rat hyperlipoidemia and early atheroscleorsis models were established by feeding high lipid diet for 40 days. Meanwhile TZX was taken by oral administration at the dosages of 40、80g/kg. The levels of NO、ET 1、6 keto PGF 1a and TXB 2 in serum were determind, and the hemorrheology markers were observed. Results: TZX could raise the levels of NO in serumobviourly ET 1 level of the normal and model rats. The large dose of TZX could increase 6 keto PGF 1a content remarkably which benefits maintenance of the balances of 6 keto PGF 1a /TXB 2. It could lower the whole blood specific viscosity, whole blood reduction specific viscosity, plasma specific viscosity; aggregation index of RBC; shorten RBC electrophoresis time; also decrease fibrinogen content; inhibit the platelet aggregation of normal rats induced by ADP. Conclusion: TZX can improve the abnormal hemorrheology and recover the balance of TXB 2/6 keto PGF 1a and NO/ET of rats with hyperlipoidemia, which might be one of mechanisms of antiatherosclerosis action.

The present paper is to study the center line of the plantar pressure of normal young people, and to find the relation between center line of the plantar pressure and gait stability and balance. The paper gives the testing principle and calculating methods for geometric center of plantar pressure distribution and the center of pressure due to the techniques of footprint frame. The calculating formulas in both x direction and y direction are also deduced in the paper. In the experiments carried out in our laboratory, the gait parameters of 131 young subjects walking as usual speed were acquired, and 14 young subjects of the total were specially analyzed. We then provided reference data for the walking gait database of young people, including time parameters, space parameters and plantar pressure parameters. We also obtained the line of geometry center and pressure center under the foot. We found that the differences existed in normal people's geometric center line and the pressure center line. The center of pressure trajectory revealed foot movement stability. The length and lateral changes of the center line of the plantar pressure could be applied to analysis of the plantar pressure of all kinds of people. The results in this paper are useful in clinical foot disease diagnosis and evaluation of surgical effect.

Objective To study the effects of living environment conditions and animal-animal interaction on the blood hormone levels and psychological behavior in Chinese tree shrews .Methods Chinese tree shrews were raised in ca-ges of different space sizes or were administered reserpine for 15, 30, 60, 120, 180 days, respectively.Then the animals were anesthetized by ether inhalation , and blood samples were taken from the heart to detect the levels of blood testosterone (T), estradiol (E2), endothelin (ET), adrenaline (A) and noradrenaline (NA) by radioimmunoassay (RIA).Results 1.Chinese tree shrews were bred in large cage (D1group) or small cage (X1 group) for 15, 30, 60, 120, 180 days, re-spectively.Compared with the animals bred in the large cage (D1 group), the level of blood testosterone (T) was signifi-cantly reduced (P<0.01), and the levels of adrenaline , noradrenaline and endothelin were significantly increased in the small cage group (P<0.01 for all).2.The animals raised in small cages in close neighborhood with large cages for 15, 30, 60, 120, 180 days, respectively.The levels of testosterone, adrenaline and noradrenaline in the large cage group (X2 group) were significantly higher than those of the small cage group (X1 group) (P<0.01 for all).3.The adrenaline and noradrenaline levels were significantly lower in all the reserpine groups (P<0.01 for all).4.The animals bred in small cages (X1 group) and in small cages in close neighborhood with large cages showed sudden loss , reduced appetite, testicu-lar atrophy , penile prolapse and stress symptoms .The animals of the reserpine groups appeared gentle temperament , signif-icantly reduced activity and reduced appetite .However , after stopping the reserpine administration and feeding them in large cages , the animals gradually returned to normal behavior .Conclusion Both animals living environment conditions and animal-animal interaction may cause changes of blood hormone levels and psychological behavior in Chinese tree shrews.

Objective To investigate the role of activities of sympathetic nerve in the pathogenesis of shoulder-hand syndrome (SHS) by analyzing the hand sympathetic skin response (SSR) at the acute stage of SHS after stroke. Methods 50 stroke patients with SHS at the acute stage were assigned as SHS group, another 50 stroke patients without SHS as control group (N-SHS group) and 50 health volunteers as health group. Every patient was subjected to the detection of bilateral hand SSR. Results The detection rates of SSR in the SHS group and N-SHS group were significantly lower than that in the Health group (P<0.01). In comparison within the SHS group, the amplitude of SSR on the affected hand was apparently higher than on the healthy hand (P < 0.05), but there was no significant difference in the SSR latencies in both hands ( P > 0 . 05 ) . In comparison with the health group , bilateral SSR latencies of the SHS group were longer than those of the health group (P<0.05) and bilateral SSR amplitudes were all lower than those of the health group (P<0.01). Conclusions The bilateral hand sympathetic skin responses could change at the acute stage of SHS after stroke, with possible presentations of central inhibition of sympathetic activity. The abnormality of SSR may be an early warning indicator in patients with hemiplegia after stroke complicated with SHS.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the antimicrobial-resistant genes and consanguinity in multi-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa(MRPA) isolated from the 98th Hospital of PLA,Huzhou,Zhejiang Province,China.METHODS Thirty strains of MRPA were isolated from hospitalized patients between Sep 2003 and Oct 2004.Twenty four kinds of genes of blaTEM,blaSHV,blaOXA-10 group,blaPER,blaVEB,blaIMP,blaVIM,blaGES,blaCARB,blaDHA,blaMIR,aac(3)-Ⅰ,aac(3)-Ⅱ,aac(3)-Ⅲ,aac(3)-Ⅳ,aac(6′)-Ⅰ,aac(6′)-Ⅱ,ant(3″)-Ⅰ,ant(2″)-Ⅰ,aph(3′)-Ⅵ,oprD,qacE△1-sul1,catB,and cml1 were analyzed by PCR and verified by DNA sequencing.Resistant-genes cluster analysis was performed by Average.RESULTS In 30 strains of MRPA the positive rate of genes of blaTEM,blaOXA-10 group,blaCARB,aac(3)-Ⅱ,aac(6′)-Ⅰ,aac(6′)-Ⅱ,ant(3″)-Ⅰ,ant(2″)-Ⅰ,qacE△1-sul1,and cml1 were 66.7%,3.3%,3.3%,76.7%,3.3%,33.3%,53.3%,26.7%,83.3%,and 3.3%,respectively,and the deficiency rate of oprD gene was 90.0%.The gene of blaOXA-10 group was sequenced and determined to be blaOXA-10 subtype ESBL gene.But the rest of genes were all negative.According to the cluster analysis of resistant-gene,30 strains of MRPA isolated could be classified into four subgroups,which were caused by the infection in hospital.CONCLUSIONS At least 10 kinds of antimicrobial-resistant genes exist in MRPA isolates,and the deficiency rate of oprD gene is very high.MRPA can induce clone transmitted hospital infection and it has fulminant prevalence.

Objective To investigate the the operative time of two stage soft ureteroscope lithotripsy for hemorrhagic embolism after percutaneous nephrolithotomy(PCNL).Methods The clinical data of 1 patient with massive hemorrhage after PCNL who treated with superselective renal artery embolization and ureteral soft lens were analyzed.Results The patient with postoperative bleeding after PCNL was treated with superselective renal artery branch embolization,after 30d embolization,the holmium laser lithotripsy under the soft ureteroscope for ureteral calculi was performed,and the renal pelvis mucosa smooth,no bleeding and scar formation were intraoperative visible.After operation,the stone was removed basically,and the double J tube was removed 2 weeks after operation.The patient had no special discomfort and the renal function was normal.Conclusion Postoperative 14-30d is a relatively safe time to perform flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy for super selective renal artery embolization in the treatment of patient with massive hemorrhage after PCNL.
