1.Basal-like breast cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(5):377-380
Basal-like breast cancer (BLBC) is a basal cell phenotype and associated with different levels of expression in basal cell keratin and (or) myoepithelial markers in breast cancer, which has a unique genetic phenotype and morphological characteristics.BLBC is prevalent in young woman, and it is easy to relapse and metastasis. Additionally, most BLBC has expression loss of estrogen receptor and progesterone receptor and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2,which limits the targeted therapeutic options for these predominantly triple-negative breast cancers.

Practical Oncology Journal 2014;(5):456-459
The pathogenesis of malignant lymphoma has been an important topic in tumor research ,but it is still unclear.Recent clinical studies showed that the expression level of Toll -like receptor 4(TLR4)was signif-icantly high in mantle cell lymphoma tissue and a variety of lymphoma cell lines .At the same time, the TLR4 ex-pression level was correlated with prognosis .The Role of TLR4 in malignant lymphoma for occurrence and devel-opment is reviewed in this article ,which may elucidate the pathogenesis and provide a new basis for the therapy of lymphoma.
3.Prophylactic Effect of Reduced Glutathione on Cardiotoxicity Induced by Epirubicin
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2008;14(8):754-756
Objective To explore the efficacy and mechanism of exogenous reduced glutathione(GSH)on cardiotoxicity induced by epirubicin(EPI).Methods 60 postoperative patients with breast cancer were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group received 6 cycles of chemotherapy with CEF regimen plus the reduced GSH.The control group also received 6 cycles of chemotherapy only with CEF alone. The cardiotoxicity of all patients were estimated by the ECG,myocardial enzymes, troponin Ⅰ(cTnⅠ),ultrasoundcardiogram and tissue Doppler technique before hemotherapy and after 3 cycles and 6 cycles of chemotherapy. Results After 3 cycles of chemotherapy, there were no significant differences in ECG,cTnⅠ,left ventricle ejection fraction(EF),fraction shortening(FS),E/A,decline time(DT)and myocardial creatine kinase(CK),isoenzyme of creatine kinase containing M and B subunits(CK-MB),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)between two groups(P>0.05);While,there was a significant difference in Em/Am between two groups(P<0.01).After 6 cycles of chemotherapy, there were also no significant differences in EF,FS,myocardial CK,CK-MB,LDH between two groups(P>0.05);there were significant differences in ECG,cTnI,E/A,DT and Em/Am between two groups(P<0.01).Conclusion The reduced GSH can prevent the cardiotoxicicy induced by EPI,which may be related with the ability of GSH against the oxidant injury and inhibiting calcium overload.

Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) are essential for establishing metastasis. Detecting CTCs can help clinicians detect early metastases or recurrences more effectively. Compared with traditional histological analyses and imaging, CTC detection has a much higher reproducibility and sensitivity and can provide more timely prognostic information in human breast cancer.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2009;36(21):1232-1234
Objective: To detect the correlation of the expression of c-erbB-2, p53, PCNA and bcl-2 with the biological behavior of breast cancer. Methods: We used immunohistochemistry to detect the expression of c-erbB-2, p53, PCNA and bcl-2 in 56 breast cancer patients. Results: The expression of c-erbB-2 was 41.1% and was negatively correlated with histological classification but was not correlated with age, clinical stage, ER, or PR. The expression of p53 was 48.2% and was positively related with ER and PR but was negatively correlated with clinical stage and pathological type. The expression of bcl-2 was 50.0% and was negatively correlated with histological classification, ER and PR and was positively correlated with clinical stage and pathological type. PCNA was highly expressed in the 56 cases. Conclusion: We should combine the detection of c-erbB-2, p53, PCNA and bcl-2 with the evaluation of clinical stage, histological degree and pathological type in order to improve the prognostic estimation of breast cancer.

Objective To investigate the possibility of human papillomavirus late 1 (HPV-L1) protein detection in predicting the prognosis of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN). Methods (1)Through immunocytochemical method to detect expression of HPV-L1 protein in diagnosis of CIN before treatment. (2) Through hybridization and gene chip technology to detect expression of high-risk human papilloma virus (HR-HPV) in diagnosis of CIN after treatment for twelve months. Results (1) Comparing the three treatment methods in CIN patients, HR-HPV infection sustained no significant difference (P > 0.05). (2) The positive expression rate of HPV-L1 protein was 75.00% in CINⅠand 36.13%in CINⅡ~Ⅲbefore treatment, with statistically significant (P<0.05). (3) Persistent infection rate of HR-HPV was 5.97%in HPV-L1 positive expression group after treatment for twelve months and 19%in HPV-L1 negative expression group. The difference between the two was statistically significant (P<0.05). (4) The expression of HPV-L1 capsid protein before treatment had a negative relationship with HR-HPV persistent infection after 12 months of treatment. Conclusion Detection of HPV-L1 protein before treatment can predict the prognosis of CIN which had been treated.

China Oncology 2006;0(12):-
Background and purpose:Angiogenesis plays an important part in growth and metastases of breast cancer. Nowadays researchers put more concern about whether endocrine therapy adjusts tumor angiogenesis in breast cancer. Here we investigated the regulation of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) expression in breast cancer in response to various stimuli:estradiol(E2) ,ICI182780 and tamoxifen. Methods:We studied the regulation of VEGFmRNA expression in MCF-7 cells stimulated by E2 at different doses and duration by semiquantitative RT-PCR. When ICI182780 and Tamoxifen used alone or in combination with E2,the expression of VEGFmRNA was detected respectively. Results:Dose-dependent experiments indicated that the maximum VEGF mRNA level(0.125?0.006) -(0.112?0.014) was obtained at 1-10 nmol/L.The response of VEGFmRNA expression to E2(1 nmol/L) occurred in a time-dependent manner;the level of VEGF transcripts(0.105?0.009) signifi cantly increased within 2 h and reached a maximum at 6 h(0.140?0.024)(P
