1.EVALUATION OF THE EFFICACY OF TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE TREATMENT FOR ENDOMETRIOSIS INDUCED INFERTILITY AFTER LAPAROSCOPY SURGERY

Objective To investigate the different clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine and laparoscopy surgery treatment for endometriosis infertility.Methods The 45 cases of endometriosis infertility were randomly divided into two groups, for the control group,22 patients were treated by laparoscopy surgery treatment;for the experimental group, 23 patients combined with traditional Chinese medicine treatment after laparoscopy surgery.Results The efficiency of the two groups are as follows:the effective rate of the experimental group 913%, the control group 727%;the two groups were significantly different(p<0.05),the pregnancy rate of the experimental group is 696%, and the control group is 454%, the two groups were significantly different(p<0.05).Conclusion After laparoscopy surgery combined with traditional Chinese medicine treatment for endometriosis infertility is significantly effective, and it is worthy of clinical application.
2.The esophageal protection and nursing of patients during radiofrequency ablation of atrial fibrillation

Objective To investigate the method of esophageal protection and nursing of pa-tients during peri-ablation of atrial fibrillation. Methods 31 patients hospitalized from June to July,2007 underwent radiofrequeney ablation under the mapping of Carto system, who were treated with liq-uid diet, anti-acid drugs and lowering energy ablation in posterior wall of left atrium for the aim of esophageal protection. Results The success rate of ablation was 100% with no occurrence of atrial-esophgeal fistula and uneomfort of digestive tract. Conclusions Careful esophageal protection and nursing plays an important role in prevention of atrial-esophgeal fistula.

Objective: To study the acceptable limitation of acute normovolemic hemodilution(ANHD) and its compensatory mechanisms in non-cardiac surgery. Method: In forty adults ASA classⅠ-Ⅱpatients undergoing non-cardiac surgery under general,anesthetic at normal body temperature ANHD was accomplished by exchanging whole blood for 4% Gelofusine,The Hemotocrit (Hct) were hemodiluted approximately to 28% (HD_1) preoperatively. Further hemodilution(HD_2,HD_3) was achieved due to intraoperative blood loss which was replaced by 4% Gelofusine,Arterial and mixed venous blood gases,Plasma lactic acid(LA) were measured, Hemodynamic variables were determined using the thermodilution technique, Oxygen delivery/consumption (DO_2/VO_2) and oxygen extraction ratio (ERO_2)were calculated using standard formula. 5.Effects of transfection of human beta-nerve growth factor gene on substance P and calcitonin gene-related peptide content of the spinal cord in a rat model of neuropathic pain

Objective To investigate the effects of adenovirus containing human beta-nerve growth factor (Ad-hNGFβ) gene on substance P (SP) and calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) content of the spinal cord in a rat model of neuropathic pain by chronic constrictive injury (CCI). Methods Forty-eight male SD rats weighing 200-250 g were randomly divided into 3 groups (n=16 each) : group Ⅰ sham operation; group Ⅱ CCI and group Ⅲ CCI + Ad-hNGFβ gene IT. The animals were anesthetized with intraperitoneal choral hydrate 300-350 mg/kg. The right sciatic nerve was exposed and 4 ligatures were placed on the sciatic nerve at 1-2 nun intervals as described by Bennet and Xie[5]. In sham operation group, right sciatic nerve was exposed but not ligated. In group Ⅰ and Ⅱ artificial cerebrnspinal fluid was injected IT instead of Ad-hNGFβ gene. The behavior score and the paw-withdrawal latency (PWL) to radiant heat and mechanical stimulus were measured one day before operation and every 4 days within the 28 days after gene transfection. Four animals were killed at 4, 7, 14 and 28 day after IT gene transfection in each group and lumbar segment (L4-6 ) of the spinal cord was removed for determination of SP and CGRP content by immunohistochemistry. Results The behavior scores were significantly higher and PWL to radiant heat and mechanical stimulus were significantly lower in group Ⅱ and Ⅲ than in group Ⅰ. There was no significant difference in the behavior score and PWL to mechanical stimulus between group Ⅱ and Ⅲ while the PWL to radiant heat was significantly higher in group Ⅲ than in group Ⅱ. After operation SP and CGRP content were significantly higher in group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ than in group Ⅰ , and significangly lower in group Ⅲ than in group Ⅱ 7-28 days after operation. Conclusion The recomhinant Ad-hNGFβ gene transfection can attenuate heat hyperalgesia by reducing SP and CGRP content of the spinal cord in a rat model of neuropathic pain induced by CCI.
6.Deletion of the LMP-1 gene integrated in the nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line SUNE-1

AIM: To study the EBV LMP-1 gene integrated in the chromosome of poorly differentiated nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line SUNE-1. METHODS: The LMP-1 gene of SUNE-1 was detected with PCR; Deletion of LMP-1 was examined by restriction endonuclease analysis and PCR. The deletion was precisely localized by DNA sequencing. RESULTS: The LMP-1 gene integrated in the chromosome of SUNE-1 could be deleted or non-deleted. The two introns of LMP-1 gene were shown being lost in SUNE-1 cell line. CONCLUSION: Deletion of intron 1 and intron 2 happen in some of the LMP-1 gene integrated in the chromosome of SUNE-1.
7.Research on phytoestrogenic effects and their mechanisms of Jiaoai tang and Shenqi Jiaoai tang.

OBJECTIVETo study the phytoestrogenic effects and their possible mechanisms of Jiaoai tang and Shenqi Jiaoai tang through the tests in mice and ER (+) MCF7 cells.
METHODSixty kunming mice weighing 9-12 g were randomly divided into 6 groups: solvent control group (administrated equal dose of diswater), diethylstilbestrol control group (administrated diethylstilbestrol at a dose of 0.35 mg x kg(-1) x d(-1) and 4 Chinese medicine treated groups (administrated low or high doses of Jiaoai tang and Shenqi Jiaoai tang at 2.5 g x kg(-1) x d(-1) or 5.0 g x kg(-1) x d(-1) respectively). After administration for 4 days, the mice were sacrificed; uterus was removed and weighed, uterus rate was calculated. The blood serum was also separated. The proliferation rate of MCF7 cells influenced by Jiaoai tang and Shenqi Jiaoai tang was determined by MIT assay. PS2, ERalpha and ERbeta mRNA expression was quantified by Real-time PCR assay. Estrogen receptor antagonist ICI182, 780 was employed as a tool.
RESULTAdministration of Jiaoai tang and Shenqi Jiaoai tang at high dose significantly increased uterus rate in mice (P < 0. 05). The pharmacological serum from two high-dosage groups of Chinese herbal medicine decoction significantly enhanced proliferation rate of MCF7 cells (P < 0.05 or 0.01), while their effects were blocked by ICI182, 780 (P < 0.05 or 0.01). The pharmacological serum could cause elevation of pS2 level (P < 0.01) which would be obviously inhibited by ICI182, 780 (P < 0.01). ERalpha and ERbeta mRNA levels were also elevated significantly (P < 0.05 and P < 0.01 respectively).
CONCLUSIONJiaoai tang and Shenqi Jiaoai tang have phytoestrogenic effects, which were attained via ER pathway. They can also increase the mRNA levels of estrogen receptor subtypes, especially ERbeta.

8.Qualitative research on job stressors of male nurses in ICU in a children's hospital

Objective To explore the job stressors of male nurses in children′s hospital, so as to provide evidence for hospital managers in improving occupational status of male nurses and in establishing measures of improving male nurses′ cultivation and development.Methods With the method of phenomenology in qualitative research and purposive sampling used, in April 2016, 10 male nurses in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in a class Ⅲ grade A children′s hospital were deeply interviewed with semi-structure, with the data analyzed and themes extracted.Results The job stressors of male nurses in children′s hospital can be summarized as 4 themes:heavy workload,un-recognition by the crowd,love and marriage difficulties and career development prospect.Conclusions Adverse factors exist in work and life of male nurses in children′s hospital. Healthy development of their career depends on joint efforts made by the society,hospital administrators and the male nurses themselves.
9.Predictive score of the outcomes after intravenous thrombolysis in patients with acute ischemic stroke

Stroke has become the leading cause of disability and death in China. At present, intravenous thrombolysis is one of the most effective treatment for acute ischemic stroke, but not all patients can benefit from intravenous thrombolysis. In recent years, the exploration of predictive models for the outcomes after intravenous thrombolysis in patients with acute ischemic stroke has attracted increasing attention. This article systematically reviews the scoring models for predicting the functional outcome, death and symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage after intravenous thrombolysis in patients with acute ischemic stroke, with the aim of screening the scoring system suitable for clinical application and providing reference for the clinical diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of acute ischemic stroke.
10.Application of lateral prone position in preventing ventilator associate pneumonia in children

Objective To examine the effect of lateral prone position on oxygenation and ventilator associated pneumonia ( VAP) .Methods Totals of 265 patients were randomly divided into the observation group ( n=132) and the control group ( n=133) .The observation group received lateral prone-left lateral-right lateral position, and the control group received supine-left lateral-right lateral position.The incidence of VAP, the duration of mechanical ventilation, the ICU stays and hospital stays were recorded.pH and arterial blood gas were prepared between the two groups.Results The incidence rates of VAP in the observation group and the control were 16.7% and 30.8%.There was a significant difference (χ2 =7.330,P=0.007).The mortality of the observation group and the control were 6.1%and 19.5%.There was a significant difference (χ2 =10.777,P=0.001).The duration of mechanical ventilation, ICU stays and hospital stays were (7.55 ±1.87), (13.57 ± 1.87) and (16.98 ±1.92) days in the observation group, and (13.20 ±4.10), (19.19 ±4.12), (23.05 ± 4.42) days in the control group.There were significant differences ( t=14.406, 14.293, 14.459, respectively;P<0.01).pH, arterial blood gas, such as PaCO2, PaO2, SpO2 were significantly improved than before in the observation group (t=3.937, 12.673, 17.664, 13.816, respectively;P<0.05).Conclusions Lateral prone position can effectively improve the oxygenation, reduce the incidence of VAP, and reduce the duration of mechanical ventilation and hospital stays.
