Objective:To analyze the influencing factors of investment management of hospital intangible assets,so as to provide countermeasures for establishing and optimizing the investment management system of hospital intangible assets.Methods: Taking hospital reputation as an example,we analyzed its role in the investment management of hospital intangible assets and the maintenance of hospital reputation in an economic perspective using Shapiro model and game theory.Results: The factors,such as the blueprint of hospital,efficiency of medical quality information transmission,and cost variance,all influenced the reputation of hospital.Conclusion: In the health care field,stable property right system should be established and market information agents should be cultivated.The administrative actions of involved departments should abide by the related regulation and the running system of hospitals should be optimized.

Objective To compare the effort intensities in comprehensive quality development of military medical undergraduates of different sorts and to discuss its improvement.Methods Comprehensive quality of undergraduates of 2010 grade (630 persons including 16 cadres) was assessed by comprehensive quality assessment index system.Based on data envelopment analysis,ratio of actual output (comprehensive quality development) against ideal value was taken as progress effectiveness to reflect the comprehensive development.SPSS 16.0 software was used for statistical processing and analysis.Score of each quality was analyzed and nondimensionalize was performed.Undergraduates' progress effectiveness was compared using analysis of variance.Results In September 2011,progress effectiveness of undergraduates without military status was higher than that of soldiers in comprehensive quality,ideology and morality,science,culture,profession,psychological quality and basic ability (F =34.659,49.234,119.273,12.641,103.814,65.105,P ＜ 0.001).Progress effectiveness in the former was higher than that of the latter in physical fitness.(F =7.363,P ＜ 0.01).In March 2012,progress effectiveness of undergraduates without military status was higher than that of soldiers in comprehensive quality,ideology and morality,science,culture,profession,psychological quality,basic ability and physical fitness (F =28.017,10.847,33.559,24.630,48.767,10.460,38.251,P ＜0.01).Conclusions Comprehensive quality development of undergraduates is a continuous dynamic course.One year's observation shows that at early stage,all qualities of undergraduates without military status improve quickly except physical fitness with more subjective efforts.The two sorts of undergraduates belong to forward effect.

Objective To build a simulation model for outpatients queuing,using data from a general outpatient cardiovascular clinic of a general hospital in Shanghai and different rules in the process.The study employs time-interval controlled mode for appointment registration,for the purpose of analyzing characteristics of different queues.Methods Extraction of data of the clinic in a given month by means of HIS system to determine the parameters of the queuing models.Building the simulation model with Matlab to develop the plan of mixed queues and that of discrete queues,for analyzing the waiting time variations,with different number of doctors on duty and different number of appointments in one time interval.Resnlts In the Monday mornings for example,the mean waiting time of appointments or no-appointments are calculated by simulation with different queuing rules,different number of doctors on duty and different appointment quantities of one time interval.Conclusion The mean waiting times of appointments and no-appointments can be both sizably cut short by means of time-interval controlled appointment; different queuing plans are recommended for different departments; the simulation model should be further verified and optimized in practice.

Objective To evaluate the monitoring value of serum albumin and plasma von willebrand factor in patients with stroke.Methods Serum albumin and plasma von willebrand factor were measured from 145 patients with stroke(95 patients with nonpoor outcome and 50 patients with poor outcome) in two weeks and after six months from stroke onset to study the relationships with prognosis.Results Serum albumin level was significantly higher in patients with nonpoor outcome(mRS≤2) after six months stroke onset than those with poor outcome(mRS≥3) and was lower after six months stroke onset than in two weeks from stroke onset.On the other hand,plasma vWF level in patients with stroke was significantly higher than that in healthy controls and was higher in two weeks than after six months from stroke onset.Patients with poor outcome had higher plasma vWF level than patients with nonpoor outcome in two weeks and after six months from stroke onset,but had no significant difference.Conclusion The level of serum albumin and plasma von willebrand factor is related with nutritional status,active extent and prognosis in patients with stroke.

Objective To analyze the correlation between non-motor symptoms (NMS) and the quality of life in the mild Parkinson's disease (PD) patients of different genders.Methods 85 mild PD patients (H-Y stage 1～2) were investigated.The PD NMS Quest was used to assess NMS.The quality of life was assessed with SF-36 questionnaire.Results Stepwise linear regression analysis showed that nocturia,restless legs,depression,daytime sleepiness,decreased interest,smell taste problems were positively correlated with the score of life quality of male and pain,increased sweating,taste smell problems,sleep problems,changes in libido,decreased memory,diplopia influenced life quality score of female.The scores of SF-36 questionnaire of the male with PD were lower than that of female patients.Conclusions The nonmotor symptom (NMS) There was a gender difference about the influence that NMS has made on PD patients.The male's life quality were lower than that of female patients about mild PD patients.

OBJECTIVE: To study the anti-tumor and immunological effect of extracts from Thymus quinquecostatus Celak on mice transplanted S180 tumor cells. METHODS: Different doses of volatile oil and alcohol extracted substances from Thymus quinquecostatus Celak were given to mice bearing S180 tumor for 9 days. Tumor inhibition rates and coefficients of spleen and thymus were determined. RESULTS: Tumor inhibition rates of the groups with alcohol extracts (40 g crude drug.kg(-1).d(-1) and 20 g crude drug.kg(-1).d(-1)) were 51.5% (P<0.01) and 36.4% (P<0.05) respectively, and those of the groups with volatile oil (40 g crude drug.kg(-1).d(-1) and 20 g crude drug.kg(-1).d(-1))were both 39.4% (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: The extracts from Thymus quinquecostatus Celak have anti-tumor activities. The coefficient of spleen in group with alcohol extracts (40 g crude drug.kg(-1).d(-1))was close to normal value, and its coefficient of thymus was between that of the negative control group and the group with cyclophosphamide (0.02 g.kg(-1).d(-1)). The anti-tumor activity of the alcohol extracts was significantly higher than that of the control group and the tumor inhibition rate was depending on drug concentration. Depending on index of immunity,the extracts from Thymus quinquecostatus Celak may have some influences on immunity.

BACKGROUND: Geriatric depressive disorder is a common psychological disorder in elderly people, and it can lead to the decline of various organic functions, and it also does great harm to elderly people and their family.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the influencing factors of depressive disorder in retired cadres and people, so as to provide basic evidence for enhancing the mental nursing in retired cadres and people and reducing the prevalence of geriatric depressive disorder.DESIGN: A sampling survey.SETTING: Department of Nursing, North China Coal Medical College.PARTICIPANTS: Between August and December 2002, 1 000 retired cadres and people living in the urban area of Tangshan city were investigated. There were 574 males and 426 females, aged from 60-88 years, the average age was 67.04 years, 851 of them were married, 10 were divorced and 139 had lost their spouses: the educational level was primary school and below in 159 cases, junior middle school in 362 cases, senior middle school in 280 cases, university and above in 199 cases.METHODS: The elderly people were investigated with the geriatric depression scale (GDS) and individual general information inventory by means of family visit. The investigative purpose and methods were introduced to the subjects before the investigation, and they all signed the informed consent, the form of without recording name was used. The strictly trained investigators were qualified by examination, which ensured the concordance of the investigative results. The pretesting was performed before the investigation to detect whether there were words,sentencesand items hard to understand, so as to avoid the information bias. The questionnaires were filled by the elderly people themselves or by the investigator if there was any difficulty for the elderly people in writing according to the their choice after reading the questions for them.in retired cadres and people of different age, gender and educational level:ferent marriage status.RESULTS: Totally 1 000 questionnaires were sent out, and 1 000 valid der was obviously higher in females than in males (27.0%, 18.6%, P ＜ 0.05).ple with the educational level of primary school and below, junior middle school, senior middle school, university and above were 33.9%, 22.1%,20.0%, 16.1% respectively, and it was decreased with the elevation of emarkedly higher in retired people than in retired cadres (25.4%, 13.6%,higher than in those having or had lost spouse (50.0%, 21.2%, 26.6%, P ＜ 0.05).CONCLUSION: The prevalence of depressive disorder is higher in retired cadres and people. More attentions should be given to the mental health care and social support of retired cadres and people, especially for the divorced ones.

Objective: To study the influence of electret on surface charge of fibroblast cells (3T3 cells) and to probe the relationship between cell growth, apoptosis and cell surface charge. Methods: Electrets Teflon PTFE, ±300 V,±1 000 V were used to treat 3T3 cells for 24, 48 and 72 h. Then the influences of electrets on cell cycle and surface charge of 3T3 cells were studied by flow cytometry and electrophoresis, respectively. Results: (1) After 24 h action of negative electrets, electrophoretic mobility (or surface charge) and cell number in S phase of 3T3 cells were significantly increased compared with those in control group. (2) Effect of negative electrets enhancing cell growth and increasing cell surface charge was in proportional to the surface potential of electret. (3) Surface charge density of apoptotic cell was reduced by electret. (4) After 24 h action of positive electret, the cell number in S and G2 phase were decreased and cell surface charge was also reduced. Conclusion: Negative electret can improve cell growth and increase cell surface charge density. Positive electret can restrain cell growth and reduce cell surface charge density. Surface charge of apoptotic cell is less than that of normal cell.

OBJECTIVE: To screen the anti-tumor fraction of ethanol extracts from Thymus quinquecostatus Celak and investigate its anti-tumor effect on human leukemia cell line. METHODS: Ethyl acetate, n-butanol and acetone fractions were separated from the ethanol extracts of wild Thymus quinquecostatus Celak. Growth inhibiting effects of these extracts on human leukemia cell lines K562 and HL-60 were determined by live cell counting and cell growth curve analysis. The possible anti-tumor mechanism was studied by morphological analysis with norcantharidin as a positive control. RESULTS: Ethyl acetate fraction could significantly inhibit the proliferations of K562 and HL-60 cells, and the inhibiting effect depended on the concentration of ethyl acetate fraction. Ethyl acetate fraction could induce apoptosis of K562 and HL-60 cells. The n-butanol and acetone fractions had no significant inhibiting effect on K562 and HL-60 cells. CONCLUSION: Ethyl acetate fraction is the major anti-tumor fraction in ethanol extracts from Thymus quinquecostatus Celak.
