Objective To explore cognitive change in schizophrenic patients with concomitant metabolism syndrome, and to provide theory basis for early intervention and treatment. Methods According to inclusion standard,56 schizophrenic inpatients with metabolism syndrome and 56 schizophrenic inpatients without metabolism syndrome were included. The matrics consensus cognitive battery(MCCB),stroop test, digit span,UPSA-B were used to assess the cognitive function. Results There were significant differences for test scores of symbol coding subtest, verbal memory subtest, digit sequence subtest,Maze subtest, continue performance among MCCB between schizophrenic patients with and without metabolism syndrome(27.07±10.46 vs 32.18±12.12,16.04±5.07 vs18.71±6.02,13.39±5.18 vs 15.79±5.48,1.38±0.66 vs 1.7±0.68,all P<0.05),as well as stroop test and digit span test(31.14±11.68 vs 36.57±13.32,13.77±3.64 vs 15.82±4.38,P<0.05 for both). Conclusion The schizophrenic patients with metabolism syndrome have severer cognitive impairment than those without metabolism syndrome.

Objective To investigate the correlations of serum Apelin-13 and fatty acid binding protein 4(FABP4)levels with metabolic and bone metabolic indicators in postmenopausal women with different bone mass. Methods A total of 145 postmenopausal women were selected as subjects and divided into three groups based on bone mineral density(BMD)test results:normal bone mass group(49 cases),osteopenia(ON)group(51 cases),and osteoporosis(OP)group(45 cases).Se-rum Apelin-13,FABP4 levels, bone metabolic indicators, and biochemical indicators were measured and compared among the three groups.Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the correla-tions of Apelin-13,FABP4,and other indicators with BMD.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was performed to analyze the risk factors for OP,and the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was plotted to analyze the predictive value of serum Apelin-13 for postmenopausal osteoporosis(PMOP).Results The serum Apelin-13 level in the OP group was lower than that in the ON group and the normal bone mass group(P<0.05).No significant difference in serum FABP4 levels was found among the three groups(P>0.05).The levels of serum parathyroid hormone(PTH),alkaline phosphatase(ALP),type Ⅰ procollagen amino-terminal propeptide(PⅠNP),type Ⅰ collagen cross-linked C-terminal peptide(CTX Ⅰ),and bone-specific alkaline phosphatase(BALP)in the OP group were higher than those in the ON group and the normal bone mass group(P<0.05).Lumbar post-menopause BMD was positively correlated with serum Apelin-13 levels(P<0.05),but had no cor-relation with serum FABP4 levels(P>0.05).Lumbar BMD was negatively correlated with serum PTH,ALP,P Ⅰ NP,CTX Ⅰ,BALP,and age(P<0.05),but positively correlated with body weight, body mass index,T-score,fasting insulin, and insulin resistance index(P<0.05).Multi-variate Logistic regression analysis showed that serum Apelin-13,PTH,ALP,P Ⅰ NP,CTX Ⅰ,and BALP levels were independent factors influencing the occurrence of OP in postmenopausal women(P<0.05).ROC curve results showed that the optimal cut-off value of serum Apelin-13 for predic-ting PMOP was 18.51 pg/mL,with an area under the curve of 0.716,a sensitivity of 70.0%,and a specificity of 64.4%.Conclusion Apelin-13 is lowly expressed in the serum of PMOP patients, and its expression level is closely related to lumbar BMD,which may serve as an early screening in-dicator and potential therapeutic target for PMOP.

Diagnosis and treatment of diabetes mellitus depend on accurate monitor of blood glucose of laboratory.Glycated albumin, the short-term indicator of blood glucose control, has special advantage and role in the monitor of diabetes mellitus and has been payed more and more attention. The standardization work of determination of glycated albumin at home and abroad is still in the primary stage at present. The consistency and accuracy of measurement results for glycated albumin is needed to be solved urgently.

Among the staff of Beijing Chao-Yang Hospital, Capital Medical University, who received the inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccine on January 30 in 2021, 28 recipients were selected for this research. Samples for nucleic acid tests were collected from the surface of the recipients′ both hands before and after vaccination. The hemostatic stickers used after the inoculation were also collected for nucleic acid tests. The nucleic acid tests of the samples collected from the surface of both hands of the 28 recipients before vaccination were all negative. After vaccination, the nucleic acid tests of the samples collected from the surface of both hands of recipients were positive in 3 cases, and suspicious in 8 cases, with a positive rate of 10.7%. A total of 25 hemostatic stickers used were collected, 24 of them had positive nucleic acid tests, and the rest one had suspicious nucleic acid test result, with a positive rate of 96%. The hemostatic stickers used after the inoculation have the risk of nucleic acid contamination.
