1.The relationship between femur and serum calcium and phosphorus content in osteoporosis
Journal of Chinese Physician 2011;13(1):58-60
Objective To study the relationship between femur and serum calcium and phosphorus content in rat with osteoporosis. Methods We developed animal models with rat experienced bilateral oophorectomy and used inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) to determine calcium and phosphorus content in femur and serum of experimental group as well as control group. Results Calcium and phosphorus contents in femur in experimental group were significantly lower than that in control group[Ca: (218.59 ± 10.43) mg/L vs (253.32 ±7.54)mg/L;P:( 127.82 ±3.71 )mg/L vs ( 142. 18 ±5.99 ) mg/L, P <0. 01], but in serum experimental group it was significantly higher than that in control group [Ca: (99.45 ±0.76)mg/L vs (97.56±0.80) mg/L;P: (67.68 ± 1.63) mg/L vs (60.00 ± 1.18) mg/L,P <0. 01]. Conclusion Femur calcium and phosphorus levels were significantly reduced, which was related to the increase of serum calcium and phosphorus content, and it was one of the causes of osteoporosis.
2.Diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases in the acute abdomen
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2015;14(9):707-711
Acute abdominal pain is a major clinical symptom of acute abdomen, and vasogenic acute abdomen caused by vascular diseases is rare and difficult to diagnose at its early stage with atypical clinical symptom and high mortality. Therefore, there is an urgent need to strengthen and improve the knowledge of surgeons about vasogenic acute abdomen.

Aortic aneurysms appear to have a predilection for the infrarenal aorta. This study is to explain the predilection by using the analysis of wall circumferential tension and stress. 20 healthy persons and 6 infrarenal aortic aneurysm patients were studied. The blood pressures were endoluminally recorded at different sites from the descending aorta to the common iliac artery. The radius of vessel and the thickness of vascular wall were measured by MRI scanning. The wall circumferential tension and stress were calculated. The results showed that the greatest wall stress was at the infrarenal aorta and at the body and exit of aneurysms. Common iliac artery's wall stress was decreased, but greater than thoracic, suprarenal aorta and entrance of aneurysms. These findings suggest that the grent wall circumferential stress may be one cause to make infrenal aorta damageable and be prone to form aneurysms. The increasing stress of the aneurymls exit and common iliac artery′s wall can promote aneurysms to invade distant and common iliac artery.

Journal of Interventional Radiology 1992;0(01):-
Objective To study the cognition and treatment of outflow tract stenosis in and after endovascular exclusion for abdominal aortic aneurysm. Methods From Mar 1997 to Oct 2002, in 136 patients undergoing abdominal aortic aneurysm endovascular exclusion, 8 patients had outflow tract stenosis during the operation, and 3 patients had outflow tract stenosis after operation. The stenosis of 5 patients occurred at the crotch of the graft stent. PTA was done in 7 patients with stents placed in stenotic segment in 2 patients. 2 patients were treated with crossover operation. Results Following up 1 month to 2 years, all patients have no lower limbs ischemia. Conclusions The diagnosis of outflow tract stenosis during and after abdominal endovascular exclusion for aortic aneurysm must be in time. The treatment should be according to the different causes of stenosis.

The traditional treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysm was open surgery. In the 1990s,endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair (EVAR) began to emerge. In the early stage, this kind of minimally invasive method was applied in highly selected patient cohort due to the limitation of anatomic conditions of patients, age of patients and shortage of available endovascular devices. The indications for open surgery which were used in this new kind of therapeutic modality also influenced the outcomes. As the technique became mature and the properties of endogarft were developed, endovascular treatment can be used to treat more complex pathologies and the results were improved. However, several challenges were rising, including dealing with complex proximal aneurismal neck,intra-and post-operative endoleak, abdominal aortic aneurysm compromising branched arteries and ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm. To solve these problems, chimney technique, fenestrated stent, branched stent and the sandwich technique had been invented and developed. It is believed that endovascular treatment for abdominal aortic aneurysm could be applied more widely under vascular surgeons' efforts.

Objective To improve the management and utilization of hospital sterilizing devices. Method Strict and operable managerial system was established. Result Hospital sterilizing devices behaved well. Conclusion Just like the purchase, utilization and maintenance of large-scale equipments, the ones of hospital sterilizing devices also should be integrated to optimize their performances.

[Objective]To investigate the expression of protein destrin in cytoskeleton protein in traumatic arterial aneurysm(TAA) vessel wall tissue and its relationship with clinical representations and pathological characteristics.[Method]Western-blot analysis and RT-PCR were used to detect the quantitative expression of destrin protein in 13 patients with TAA and in the femoral arterial tissues of 8 normal subjects. The difference of protein expression was compared, and the results with clinical data were analyzed statistically. The correlation of unbalanced expression of destrin protein with the clinical presentations was studied.[Result] The expression of destrin in TAA tissue was lower than that in the femoral artery of normal subjects(P
