Objective　To study the relation between mental emotion of top senior middle school students and college entrance examination achievement. Method　Using 16PF,STI,TTI and SAS, this year's graduates were measured. Result　The liberal arts had a significant defference from the science departments in the personality of 16PF. Applying the methods of judgement and more factors, the Q1 (experiment F=8.76 P<0.01) and Q2 factors (independence F=8.23 P<0.01) had a positive correlation with college entrance examination achievement, a negative correlation with the M factor (fantasy F=4.88 P<0.01).Conclusion　The personality of experiment, flexibility of nervous process in temperament and that of time characteristic had a positive correlation with college entrance examination achievement .Independence of high scores fantasy of low scores and the flexibility of temperament helped to upgrade the scores of college entrance examination .The division into liberal arts and science departments of students should refer to their personality.

Objective To understand the potential internet addicts personality traits through the use of Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) and provide evidence for psychological therapy.Methods The experimental group included 34 outpatients defined as Internet Addiction Scale (IAS) ≥ 5 points,and the control group included 34 volunteers with the same age and the common cultural backgroud and defined as IAS ＜ 5 points.Results Compared with the control group,the internet addiction group had a higher desire projects including antisocial aggression (4.83±2.16),substance destroy (2.56± 1.61),intraggression (3.40±2.43) and passivity desires (2.65± 2.29) (P＜0.05).In contrast,the internet addiction group had a lower desire projects including achievements(2.31 ±2.14),domination (1.51±1.29),nurturance (2.30±2.34),succorance (1.80± 1.25) (P＜0.05,P＜0.01).Compared with the control group,the internet addiction group had a higher pressure projects include emotion (3.90±2.81),emotional language offensive attack (3.62±2.18),physical social aggression (2.73±2.23),physical antisocial aggressive (3.95± 1.88),substance destroy (3.33± 1.78),nuturanced (4.53 ± 2.57),rejected (2.18 ± 2.19),loss (4.01±2.41),physical danger pressure (2.65±2.37) and total pressure (49.49± 36.16) (P＜0.05,P＜0.01).Conclusion Internet addiction patients have potential personality with ultra-low in superego,lack in ego,possess stronger in id.Outpatient treatment with internet addicts should focus on psychotherapy,and improve interpersonal relationships.

OBJECTIVETo understand status of health literacy among diabetics and their health management behaviors, and analyze the relationship of health literacy and health management.

METHODSA two-staged cluster randomized sampling method was used to investigate 1 130 diabetics in Beijing, Ningbo and Xiamen from October to November in 2012. All participants should be diagnosed by primary hospital and above and have lived in the community over six months. Diabetic patients who indicated that they had severely impaired vision or cognitive disorder, or had severe physical deterioration, or did not live in the address provided were excluded. A total of 1 130 questionnaires were sent out and 1 083 eligible questionnaires were taken back, accounting for 96.87%. Multivariate logistic regression was adopted to analyze the association between health literacy and health management behaviors and blood glucose level.

RESULTSAmong those participants, 47.7% (517) were men, 52.3% (566) were women, the age was (67.0 ± 9.5). According to diabetes health literacy scores, 73.7% (798/1 083) of them were classified as poor health literacy and 26.1% (283/1 083) as essential health literacy. Health literacy was associated with health management behaviors independently, demonstrating that the probability of utilizing health education, free physical examination, lifestyle guidance, monitoring blood glucose on their own, measuring blood glucose more than once a week and taking hypoglycemic agent regularly among diabetics with essential health literacy were 1.40 (95%CI:1.03-1.91), 1.65 (95%CI: 1.19-2.28), 2.70 (95%CI:1.98-3.69), 2.05 (95%CI:1.34-3.15), 2.56 (95%CI:1.85-3.56) , 1.48 (95%CI:1.07-2.06) times of those in diabetics with poor health literacy (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONHealth literacy may affect health management behaviors among diabetics. More activities targeted on diabetics with low health literacy were suggested to improve their' health literacy and their skills about diabetes mellitus management.

OBJECTIVE: To detect potential mutations of the PKHD1 gene in two pedigrees affected with infantile polycystic kidney disease. METHODS: Clinical data and peripheral venous blood samples were collected from the probands and their parents as well as fetal amniotic fluid cells. Genome DNA was extracted from the peripheral blood samples and amniotic fluid cells. Exons 32 and 61 of the PKHD1 gene were amplified with PCR and subjected to direct sequencing. RESULTS: The proband of pedigree 1 was found to carry c.4274T>G (p.Leu1425Arg) mutation in exon 32 and c.10445G>C (p.Arg3482Pro) mutation in exon 61 of the PKHD1 gene, which were inherited from her father and mother, respectively. The fetus has carried the c.4274T>G (p.Leu1425Arg) mutation. In pedigree 2, the wife and her husband had respectively carried a heterozygous c.5979_5981delTGG mutation and a c.9455delA mutation of the PKHD1 gene. No chromosomal aberration was found in the umbilical blood sample, but the genetic testing of their fetus was failed. Based on software prediction, all of the 4 mutations were predicted to be pathogenic. CONCLUSION PKHD1 c.4274T>G (p.Leu1425Arg), c.10445G>C (p.Arg3482Pro), c.5979_5981delTGG and c.9455delA were likely to be pathogenic mutations. The results have facilitated genetic counseling and prenatal diagnosis for the two pedigrees.
