Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2008;24(20):19-20
Objective To investigate the observation and nursing for patients with atria] fibrillation (AF)after left atrial linear ablation surrounding ipeilateral pulmonary veins (PVs). Methods Thirty patients with persistent AF underwent left atrial linear ablation surrounding ipsilateral PVs guided by CARTO electroanatomic mapping system and double Lasso catheters technique. The end point of ablation was defined as absence of all PV spikes after isolation and bidirectional conduction block between left atrial and PVs. Results After a median of (245±65)days of follow-up, twenty-one patients were free of AF. Eight patients subjected recurrent atrial tachyarrhymias, including 5 typical AFL, 2 atrial taehycardia and 1 paroxysmal AF. Two patients with persistent AF remaining PV spikes in left superior PV failed to be translated to sinus rhythm. Nine patients underwent repeated ablation and 8 of them were free of atrial taehyarrhythmia after (192±92) days follow-up. Total success rate after two procedures was 92.8%. Conclusions Nurses should perform effective care according to the symptom of patients before, during and after ablation procedure and relieve the patients from pain.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2020;41(8):1224-1227
Objective:
To analyze the relationship between body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), waist to height ratio (WHtR) and bone metabolism markers.
Methods:
By using the method of cluster sampling, a total of 1 084 adolescents aged 12 to 18 from one middle school in Yinchuan were investigated by questionnaire, physical examination and laboratory examination during sept. to Dec., 2018.
Results:
BMI, WC and WHtR were significantly negatively correlated with Ca (r=-0.10, -0.15, -0.15, P<0.05), and WC was negatively correlated with β-CTX(r=-0.06 P<0.05). After adjusting for age, sex and vitamin D supplementation, WC had significant effects on Ca and β-CTX(β=-0.33, -0.22, P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between different types of obesity and the level of OC(P>0.05). The level of serum β-CTX in obese students was 1.93 times higher than that in normal students, Ca serum levels of obese students was 0.31 times higher than that in normal students that in abdominal obese students (defined as WC) was 0.54 times higher than that in normal students.
Conclusion
BMI, WC and WHtR were correlated with OC, β-CTX and Ca in adolescents in Yinchuan city, and WC was more closely related to Ca and β-CTX, suggesting that obesity has a negative effect on bone absorption.

Objective:
To elucidate age and sex specific characteristics in fat free mass (FFM) among middle and high school adolescents in Yinchuan City, China, and to provide a scientific basis for healthy development, chronic disease prevention and intervention in children and adolescents.
Methods:
Using a convenient cluster sampling method, 1 175 middle and high school adolescents, aged 10 to 20 years old, from Yinchuan, China, were selected to participate in a questionnaire survey and physical examination, which involved body composition by bioelectrical impedance analysis(BIA).
Results:
For adolescents aged 12 to 18 years, FFM and the fat free mass percentage (FFMP) of boys increased with age(from 39.78 to 52.63 kg; 77.51% to 83.80%, respectively), the age trends of the FFM and FFMP of body parts were in the similar pattern, and were significantly higher than those of girls(all P <0.05). In girls, the FFM reached a peak of 40.96 kg at 15 years old, and decreased slightly between the ages of 15 and 18 years, the age trends of the FFM of body parts were in the similar pattern, and the FFMP decreased with age (from 75.63% to 71.91 %). In addition, in girls, the age trends of the FFMP of left and right legs were the same as the general trend, while the FFMP of left and right arms increased with age. The FFMP of the trunk reached a minimum of 29.93% at 15 years old and increased from 15 to 18 years old(all P <0.05).
Conclusion
For middle and high school adolescents aged 12 to 18 years old in Yinchuan City, China, the distribution of FFM changed in accordance with age and gender differences, in accordance with the characteristics of the adolescents growth and development.

Chinese Journal of Medical Genetics 2019;36(5):498-501
OBJECTIVE:
To determine the origin of supernumerary small marker chromosomes (sSMCs) carried by two fetuses.
METHODS:
Single nucleotide polymorphism array (SNP-array) and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) analysis were carried out on cells cultured from the amniotic fluid samples.
RESULTS:
SNP-array analysis showed both fetuses to be arr[hg19]22q11.1q11.21(16 888 899-18 649 190)×4, with a duplicated 1.7 Mb region (16 888 899-18 649 190) leading to partial tetrasomy of 22q11.1-22q11.21. FISH confirmed that both fetuses were 47,XN,+mar.ish idic(22)(q11.2) (RP11-958H20 ++),which suggested a diagnosis of Cat-eye syndrome (CES). The appearance of abortuses were consistent with the diagnosis of CES.
CONCLUSION
Two fetuses with CES were diagnosed by genetic testing. The latter has provided a basis for genetic counseling.

Objective:To observe any effect of repeated magnetic stimulation of the spine on lower urinary tract function and the life quality of patients with neurogenic bladder after suprasacral spinal cord injury (SCI).Methods:Fifteen suprasacral SCI patients whose lower urinary tract function was not improving were enrolled. In the first 2 weeks, all received water drinking management and intermittent catheterization, while in the following 4 weeks they were additionally provided with daily transspinal magnetic stimulation at the level of the spinous process of the first lumbar vertebra five times a week. The stimulation frequency was 1Hz. The patients kept voiding diaries. Their urodynamics were quantified using neurogenic bladder symptom scoring (NBSS) and a life quality scale. Results:The frequency of catheterization and the average voided volume, as well as the maximum detrusor pressure during the storage phase, maximum bladder capacity, maximum urethral pressure during the voiding phase and voiding efficiency at the end of the sixth week were significantly different from those at the end of the second week and before the intervention. The average NBSS and life quality scores then showed significant differences from the earlier time points. Conclusion:Repeteitive transspinal magnetic stimulation of the spine can improve lower urinary tract functioning and the life quality of persons with neurogenic bladder after a suprasacral SCI.
