An analytical method of on-line injection technique including on-line dilution and on-line preconcentration with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry ( ICP-MS ) was established for the determination of trace metals in seawater, such as Cr, Mo, Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd, Fe, Mn, Ni, V, Co. This method could automatically make standard curves and match matrix, and by the on-line dilution and preconcentration modes, 11 trace metals could be analyzed directly. With high-level automation, CASS-5 and NASS-6 seawater standard samples were analyzed accurately by this method. The recovery of metals in seawater sample addition was between 80% and 115%. The method quantitation limits (μg/L ) of theses metals in seawater were 0. 06(Cr), 0. 06(Mo), 0. 01(Cu), 0. 005(Pb), 0. 01(Zn), 0. 006(Cd), 0. 03 (Fe), 0. 02(Mn), 0. 01(Ni), 0. 01(V), and 0. 01 (Co), respectively. This method was applied to analyze seawater samples of various salinities in Zhejiang coast, and the analysis results were consistent with results of conventional atomic absorption method.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of compound Qianglizhenxian pill on epilepsy. Methods 94 patients with epilepsy were treated with compound Qianglizhenxian pill, and every course lasted three months. After treatment, checking patients' electroencephalogram again, evaluating the clinical effect according to degrees and numbers of attack. Results After 12 months of treatment, 90.43% of patients got an obvious improvement, while 6.38% for better, 3.19% for validity and no invalid. Conclusions There is a great improvement for patients with epilepsy after taking the medicine. The effective control rate is 92.62% with no toxication on blood system, liver and kidney.

Objective To develop and validate a mortality risk prediction model for patients infected with avian influenza A H 7N9 virus. Methods A stratified and random sampling method was adopted for selection of subjects .A total of 102 patients infected with avian influenza A H7N9 virus, who were admitted to the designated hospitals in Zhejiang Province during March 2013 and March 2015, were enrolled.Standard questionnaires were used to collect data about demographic , epidemiologic and clinical characteristics , and the data were retrospectively reviewed . Univariate analysis and stepwise logistic regression analysis were used to identify the mortality risk factors of patients infected with avian influenza A H7N9 virus, and nomogram was applied to develop the risk prediction model .The accuracy of the prediction model was assessed using Concordance index (C-index) and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. Results Stepwise multiple logistic regression analysis showed that age ≥60 years (χ2 =3.98, OR=2.99, 95%CI:1.05-9.21, P<0.05), increased initial neutrophil count (χ2 =6.66,OR=5.06, 95%CI:1.56-18.83, P<0.05), C-reactive protein≥120mg/L (χ2 =8.63, OR=5.15, 95%CI:1.79-16.31, P<0. 01), poor hand hygiene (χ2 =6.83, OR =10.29, 95%CI:2.18-81.49, P <0.01) and 5 days of incubation period or shorter (χ2 =7.23, OR=4.75, 95%CI:1.59-15.80, P<0.01) were independent risk factors for mortality of patients .Based on the above study , a risk prediction model of nomogram was developed.Poor hand hygiene (grade A, 100.0 points) ranked on the top of all risk factors, followed by C-reactive protein≥120 mg/L (grade B, 76.5 points), increased initial neutrophil count (grade C, 70.5 points), 5 days of incubation period or shorter (grade D, 62.0 points) and age ≥60 years (grade E, 51.0 points). The C-index and the area under the curve were 0.833 and 0.817 for the nomogram model , respectively;and the nomogram model fitted well .Conclusion Nomogram model can effectively predict and estimate the risk of death for patients infected with avian influenza A H 7N9 virus.

Objective To observe the effect of kinesthetic imagery and visual imagery on upper limb rehabilitation among stroke survivors. Methods Forty-five hemiplegic stroke survivors were randomly assigned into a kinesthetic imagery training group (n=14),a visual imagery training group (n=15) or a control group (n=16).In addition to conventional rehabilitation, patients in the kinesthetic and visual imagery training groups were given 30 minutes of the appropriate imagery training once a day, five days per week for four weeks, while the control group relaxed or received health education for the same time. Before and after the 4-week intervention, the upper limb section of the Fugl-Meyer assessment (FMA-UE) and the modified Barthel index (MBI) were used to evaluate the motor function of the subjects' upper limb and their ability in the activities of daily living respectively. Results Before the intervention, there were no significant differences in the average FMA-UE and MBI scores among the 3 groups. After the intervention there was no significant difference between the average FMA-UE and MBI scores of the two training groups, but both were significantly better than the control group's averages. Conclusion Either kinesthetic or visual imagery training can improve the upper limb function of stroke survivors and their abihty in the activities of daily living.Their effectiveness is not significantly different.
