1.Advances in the toxicokinetic models of cadmium
Journal of Preventive Medicine 2021;33(11):1113-1117
Cadmium is a toxic heavy metal commonly seen in the environment. Long-term exposure to low dose of cadmium has toxic effects on multiple systems and organs of human body. The kinetic model is a new technology to quantitatively evaluate the correlation between internal and external exposure of chemicals, which can provide reliable information for risk assessment. There are two kinetic models of cadmium: toxicokinetic model (TK) and physiologically-based toxicokinetic model (PBTK). They have played a role in the establishment of cadmium exposure limits and risk prediction. This article reviews the construction, development, and limitations of the two models, and looks forward to the direction in which the models can be further optimized, providing the reference for risk assessment of cadmium exposure in China.

3.Clinical Observation on 25 Cases of Lupus Nephritis Treated by Chinese Medicines with the Function of Antioxidation
Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1993;0(05):-
Objective To observe the effect of Chinese Medicines with the function of antioxidation on lupus nephritis(LN)pa- tients. Methods The 25 LN patients consisting of renal function normal group(15 cases)and renal failure group(10 cases)were treated with Huang Qi(Radix Hedysari)and Shu Dihuang(Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata)as main ingredients for 6 months in suc- cession.Changes of symptom, systemic lupus erythematosus disease activity index(SLEDAI),activity index(AI),lipid peroxide (LPO),superoxide dismutase(SOD),glutathione peroxide(GSH-Px),malondialchehyche(MDA),nitric oxide(NO),blood and urine routine examination,24-hour urine protein quantity, liver and kidney function,anti-double-stranded DNA(anti ds-DNA),complement 3(C_3)and complement 4(C_4),after treatment were observed. Results SLEDAI and AI scores were remarkably different from those before treatment(P

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2017;16(8):772-776
Objective To explore and establish a kind of dissertation evaluation system which can fully reflects the characteristics of academic medical doctoral training. Methods 41 medical doctoral dissertation evaluation systems and related literatures were collected,to get the current situation of this dissertation evaluation system in our country and find the key points of various evaluation systems.A questionnaire survey was conducted among 350 doctoral supervisors coming from 6 universities so as to define the framework and connotation of evaluation indicators.Using the Delphi expert consultation method, the connotation of evaluation indicators and composition as well as the weight of various indicators was improved. Results The doctoral supervisors who participated in the research considered that building the dissertation evaluation system should follow the principle of science, innovation and fairness, and the evaluation frame-work should have secondary index and evaluation elements. The evaluation contents concluded choosing topic, literature review, basic theory and professional knowledge, paper writing, innovation, research ability and academic morals and so on.And on the basis of this, the paper explored and developed a more scientific and comparative dissertation quality evaluation system with medical specialty. Conclusion The cultivation units should take the educational goal of evaluation target and the requirements of awarding degree into consideration, seeking opinions fully to the first-line supervisors and combing quantitative and qualitative evaluation effectively with scientific and operable principles when specifying evaluation system.

To study changes of lung function for 10 years in the elder patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD) who have quitted smoking for more than 10 years, 45 elder patients with COPD who had quitted smoking for more than 10 years were selected, and 11 elder patients with COPD who had never smoked were enrolled too. Routine lung function tests were performed. Initial values of VC, FVC, FEV 1 , PEF, MMEF, and MVV were compared with those 10 years later, and it was found the difference was significant ( P

Objective:To observe the effects of soybean isoflavones(SI) on uteri and uterine Er?,ER? expression in perimenopausal rats. Method:Female SD rats in age of 7-month-old were used as control and 11-month-old SD rats were divided into 5 groups, model group, diethylstilbestrol group and 3 test groups exposed to three doses of SI(ig:30,12,4.6 mg/kg?d) respectively for 35 d. Serum concentrations of estradiol(E2) ,testosterone(T) ,follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH) and luteinizing hormone(LH) were determined. Ultrastructure of uterine luminal surface was observed by scanning electron microscopy and hematoxylin-eosin staining. Expression of ER? and ER? in the uteri were determined by immunohistochemistry. Results:Low dose SI significantly increased serum E2(P

Objective To propose new policies and strategies that will optimize the transformation of medical research achievements at hospital level. Methods In this paper,we systematically analyzed the characteristics and influencing factors of the transformation of medical research achievements based on the status quo in our hospital. Results In our hospital as an example, major problems in the transformation of medical research achievements identified as low investment, low conversion rate, complex procedures,multi-links existed and more multi disciplinary cooperation needed. Conclusions The hospital can take some measurements to optimize the transformation of medical research achievements, such as more stream lined management of scientific research project, establishing and improve the platform for scientific research transfer, increasing the funding, strengthening cooperation among different disciplinaries, building a professional team to promote the transfer and so on.

Chinese Journal of Medical Ultrasound (Electronic Edition) 2013;(11):935-940
Objective To evaluate the significance of standardized ultrasound examination of fetal structures in the ifrst trimester (11-13+6 weeks). Methods The ultrasound data of 29 858 fetuses who underwent the ifrst trimester screening were analyzed retrospectively in Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Capital Medical University from January 2010 to December 2012 and followed up the cases with structural abnormalities and increased nuchal translucency (NT). Results Among 29 858 fetuses, 328 structural defects were detected in 284 fetuses (0.95%) by ultrasound in the first trimester, including fetal hydrops (124 cases), choroid plexus cysts (36 cases), exencephaly (32 cases), gastroschisis (24 cases), exomphalos (22 cases), cardiac defects (19 cases), megacystis (14 cases), spine abnormalities (10 cases), meningoceles/encephaloceles (9 cases), alobar holoprosencephaly (8 cases), hydrocephaly (7 cases), abnormalities of extremities (7 cases), acrania (6 cases), amniotic band syndrome (4 cases), abdominal cyst (3 cases) and conjoined twins (3 cases). Pregnancy was terminated in all cases (115) with exencephaly, gastroschisis, exomphalos, meningoceles/encephaloceles, alobar holoprosencephaly, hydrocephaly, abnormalities of extremities, acrania, amniotic band syndrome and conjoined twins, and the defects were verified by the gross appearance of fetuses. Two cases of megacystis were turned out to be normal during follow-up while 1 case was proved to be aneuploid and 1 other case progressed to multiple abnormalities during the second trimester. Most choroid plexus cysts, except 1 case of aneuploid, were normal during the second and the third trimester follow-ups by ultrasound. Thirteen cases of fetal hydrops were found to be aneuploids and 4 hydrops cases were proved to be complicated with other structural defects during the second and the third trimester. NT was increased in 422 cases (1.41%), among which 122 cases (28.91%) were complicated with structural defects and/or fetal hydrops. Ninty-nine cases with increased NT underwent chromosomal examination and 38 cases were found to be aneuploides. During the follow-up of 298 cases with increased NT who continued pregnancy, 21 structural abnormalities were found, including cardiac defects (14 cases), neural abnormalities (4 cases) and diaphragmatic hernia (3 cases). Conclusion The standardized fetal ultrasound in the first trimester is a effective tool for the screening of aneupolides and major structural abnormalities.
