Objective To investigate the effects of high-affinity tyrosine kinase receptors TrkA, TrkC and the low-affinity neurotrophin receptor p75 (p75~ NTR) protein in laser-induced retinal injury. Methods The Wistar rats were anesthetized and exposed to frequency doubling Neodymium:Yttrium, aluminum garnet(ND:YAG,?=532nm) laser for 100 plus per eye, which were sacrificed on 12 hours,1,3,7,14 and 28 days after laser exposure and eyeball was taken out. We investigated retinal histology by hematoxylin and eosin staining, and the expression of TrkA, TrkC and p75~ NTR protein was studied by means of immunohistochemistry. Results Immunohistochemistry results showed a differential distribution for these three neurotrophin receptors in the laser injuried retina. TrkA was enhanced in nerve fiber layer (NFL), ganglion cell layer(GCL) and inner nuclear layer(INL) ,which is the most nuclei of the ganglion cells, proximal M?ller cell end feet and a little cells in the innermost part of the INL, its peak of up-regulation was after day 1-3, after day 28 there was sustained. Whereas TrkC and p75~ NTR expression was enhanced in the outer nuclear layer(ONL), which is distal M?ller cell processes, TrkC up-regulated after 12 hours, its peak was on day 1-3, after day 28 there was sustained, p75~ NTR up-regulated after 24 hours, its peak was on day 3, on day 14-28 there was sustained in the GCL, which is proximal M?ller cell processes. Conclusion The expression of TrkA, TrkC and p75~ NTR participated in the course of laser injuried retinal pathology.

Objective To evaluate the relationship between aberrant crypt foci(ACF) and colon cancer by observing the sequential development of ACF in cancer models of rats. Methods The colon cancer models in 60 Wistar rats were established by subcutaneously injection of dimethylhydrasine (DMH) once a week for 18 weeks. The rats were sacrificed and the colon tissues stained by methylene blue were observed with a stereomicroscope. Results There were two types of ACF, named cACF and dACF. The microscopic findings in dACF were similar with that in early colon cancer, while those in cACF were not. The expression of β-catenin in cACF and dACF were 4. 84% and 100% (P =0. 000) , respectively, and the expression of MMP-7 were 7. 87% and 81.82% (P =0. 000), respectively. There was no significant difference in expression of β-catenin and MMP-7 between dACF and colon cancer ( P > 0. 05 ). Conclusion The microscopic and molecular changes in dACF is similar with that in colon cancer, and dACF may progress to cancer through Wnt pathway.

Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
In this paper, metabolic networks of the Corynebacterium glutamicum GWY020 and the two de-rivatives carrying additional mutations HUI821and GUI089 were established and modified. The concentra-tions of extra-cellular metabolites were determined under sub-steady-state (50 h~52 h) of the batch culture. The metabolic flux distribution maps of the three strains were obtained, compared and analyzed. These re-sults indicate that the introduction of analog supersensitive marker or analog resistant marker skew the metabolic flux towards the formation of L-Arginine. This study revealed the usefulness of the metabolic flux analysis as a tool for verification of existing production strains. The analysis may play an important role in helping us to rationally re-design metabolism for further improvement of fermentation process.

Objective:To investigate the effects of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) on behavioral and psychological symptoms and quality of life in patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer disease (AD).Methods:Forty mild and moderate patients who met the diagnostic criteria of AD in the tenth edition of the International Classification of Diseases from May 2017 to December 2018 in the Seventh People′s Hospital of Wenzhou City were selected and divided into the control group (20 cases) and the rTMS group (20 cases) according to random number list. The control group was treated with basic treatment while the rTMS group was treated with rTMS on the basis of the basic treatment. The scores of AD assessment scale-cognitive section (ADAS-cog), mini mental state examination (MMSE), neuropsychiatric inventory (NPI), activity daily living (ADL), and quality of life in AD (QOL-AD) were observed and compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results:There were no significant differences in ADAS-cog, MMSE, NPI, ADL, and QOL-AD scores between the rTMS group and the control group before treatment ( P>0.05). After treatment, the MMSE, ADL, and QOL-AD scores of the rTMS group were significantly higher than those of the control group: (22.80 ± 3.83) scores vs.(20.30 ± 5.49) scores, (63.05 ± 17.24) scores vs. (54.15 ± 9.20) scpres, (37.55 ± 7.94) scores vs. (31.00 ± 11.45) scores; the ADAS-cog and NPI scores were significantly lower: (18.45 ± 4.16) scores vs.(22.15 ± 5.01) scores, (57.2 ± 16.25) scores vs. (72.65 ± 39.37) scores, (27.15 ± 7.53) scores vs. (34.65 ± 14.91) scores, and there were significantly differences ( P<0.05). At the same time, the MMSE, ADL, and QOL-AD scores of the rTMS group were significantly higher than those before treatment, the ADAS-cog and NPI scores were significantly lower, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05). Conclusions:rTMS can effectively improve the behavioral and psychological symptoms of patients with mild to moderate AD and significantly improve the quality of life.

AIM:To investigate the serum antibody of aquaporin 4 ( AQP4 - Ab ) in positive expression rate and the significance in patients with neuritis.
●METHODS: A total of 98 cases ( 128 eyes ) of patients with optic neuritis were studied to detect the patient′s serum AQP4-Ab positive rate of antinuclear antibodies ( ANAs) from Jan. 2012 to Dec. 2015 in ophthalmology center of our hospital. According to the expression of AQP4 - Ab group, the best corrected visual acuity between the two groups, peripapillary nerve fiber layer thickness (pRNFL), the volume of the macula, macular RNFL ( mRNFL ) , macular core layer volume ( mlNL ) measurement were compared.
●RESULTS:Ninety-eight patients (128 eyes) with optic neuritis cases diagnosed through examination revealed AQP4-Ab positive in 22 patients ( 22%) , negative in 76 patients ( 78%) , ANAs positive in 21 patients ( 21%) , negative 77 patients ( 79%) . Optic neuritis patients with serum AQP4 - Ab positive rate and ANAs positive significant correlation ( r = 0. 707, P < 0. 05 ). After examination revealed AQP4-Ab patients and negative-positive patients with best corrected visual acuity difference was not statistically significance (P>0. 05). After inspection found pRNFL, macular volume measured value AQP4 - Ab positive patients were significantly less than the negative patients, the differences were statistically significant (P<0. 05). AQP4-Ab positive patients and negative patients the mRNFL, mlNL measured values were not significantly different (P>0. 05).
●CONCLUSION:AQP4-Ab and ANAs expression in optic neuritis patients is a significant correlation. AQP4-Ab positive patients with optic neuritis pRNFL thinning of macular volume are decreased compared with negative patients.

Electronic case report forms (eCRFs) instead of the traditional paper case report forms (pCRFs) are increasingly used by investigators and sponsors of clinical research. We include a total of 14 phase III studies (8 pCRF, 6 eCRF) to compare paper and electronic data documentation both quantitatively and qualitatively in clinical studies. The result suggests that adaptions of electronic data capture (EDC) in clinical trials have the advantages in optimization of data capture process, improvement of data quality and earlier clinical decision compared to paper-based methods. Furthermore, the successful implementation of EDC requires accouplements with corresponding data management processes and reallocation of resources.
