Objective To observe the effect and security of lovasatin treating hyperlipidemia in children with steroid resistance nephrotic syndrome(SRNS).Methods Thirty-seven children with SRNS were administered lovasatin with normal liver function before lipid-lowing treatment. The changes of plasma lipids [total cholesterol(TC),trigly ceride(TG)] and lipoprotins [low density lipoprotein(LDL),very low density lipoprotein(VLDL),high density lipoprotein(HDL)],albumin(Alb),serum creatinine(Scr),aminotransferase(ALT),24 hours of urinary protein and drug side-effects were observated for 4 weeks. All children treated with regular glucocorticoids therapy for 2 months still presented with urinary protein significant positive. Results There were decreasing of plasma lipids and lipoproteins after 2 weeks of lovasatin treatment, especially for TG,24 hours of urinary protein(Pa

Objective To investigate the status quo of transformational leadership, psychological empowerment, team psychological safety and team effectiveness, and test whether the supposed structural equation is tenable. Methods Totally 380 nurses completed the Transformational Leadership Questionnaire,Psychological Empowerment Questionnaire,Team Psychological Safety Questionnaire and Team Effectiveness Questionnaire, structural equation model was used to verify the relationship of the above,Bootstrapping confidential interval and product of coefficient were used to test the mediating effect. Results Significant correlations were found between transformational leadership, psychological empowerment, team psychological safety and team effectiveness (P < 0.01),transformational leadership played indirect effect on team effectiveness (Z=6.195,P < 0.05),psychological empowerment and psychological safety had a totally mediation effect. Conclusions Healthcare workers should make psychological empowerment and team psychological safety as the breakthrough point, fully play the advantages of transformational leadership on team effectiveness in order to increase the working ability of nurses and make them complete the clinical work effectively and with high quality.

Objective To investigate the significance of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) protein expression and angiogenesis in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods Tissue sec- tions from 40 HCC patients were examined immunohistochemically for protein expression of COX-2 and VEGF.Mi- crovessel density(MVD) was counted by endothelial cells immunostained by anti-CD34 antibody. Results The ex- pression of COX-2 protein in well differentiated HCC was stronger than that in moderately differentiated HCC and poorly differentiated HCC(P

Foodbome viruses are defined to be viruses that can lead to human diseases through food. In accordance with the different origin, foodborne viruses can be divided into two kinds: intestinal viruses and zoonotic viruses. The former include those viruses that can be transmitted to person via fecal-orally route. The latter include those zoonotic viruses that chiefly transmitted to person through livestock and poultry products. This paper expounds foodborne viruses categories, biology nature, epidemiology character, and study circumstance, and clarifies the molecular biological methods and problems on the base of the polymerase chain reactions, and presents the development direction and application perspective of the foodbome viruses study.

In this assay, the reaction kinetics, optimum temperature, pH and various influential factors of ATP microbial rapid detection reagent by bioluminescence were studied. The results showed that it's enough for detection system to have 40 ~ 50?g/mL D-Luciferin. The light production decreased fastest in the first minute of reaction, then began to decay slowly. The optimal reaction temperature was 24℃~25℃and the optimal pH was pH 7.2 -7.4 in the reaction system. In addition, when stored at 4℃for 45h, the dissolved reagent solution could keep its 86% activity. When preserved at 25℃, the enzyme activity decreased less for 1h, and degraded gradually as time went by and only left 53. 5% of its activity after 6. 5h. While stored at 33℃, the enzyme activity decreased quickly with the time and only left 59. 1% after 1. 5h. The result indicated that storage temperature was a very important influential factor to the activity of reagent Meanwhile, different chemical substance such as acid, alkali, salt and surfactants inhibited the ATP bioluminescent reaction. When the concentration of NaCl reached 1. 5g/L, it could inhibit 52. 5% light production. Triton X-100, acid, and alkali also had some effects on the reaction, while CTAB, SDS and TCA would inhibit the bioluminescent reaction seriously.

The brown slime inside pipeline of the polluted mineral waters well was analyzed. It was confirmed that the brown slime was a biofilm formed mainly by growth of bacteria contaminant, using microscope analysis. After treated with HCl, the brown crystals and mycelioid matter presented in slimes disappeared. It was verified these were metal deposits. The samples produced Prussia blue deposits by dropping K 4Fe(CN) 6 and HCl, which proved that the metal deposits were iron compound. Also it was believed the biofilm was produced by growth of iron bacteria, mixed with deposits of iron compound. The iron bacteria have been isolated from the slimes and cultured in the laboratory. The colony on agar plate also produced Prussia blue deposits after treated with K 4Fe(CN) 6 and HCl. The cells form of pure culture was the same as that in the samples by electronmicroscope analysis. Therefore, It indicated that the bacteria on biofilm inside pipeline were iron bacteria mainly.

Objective To study the effect and prognosis of percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) for pa- tients with coronary artery disease(CAD).Methods Selected coronary angiography was performed in 31 patients with CAD.PTCA and stent implantation were performed in the patients of coronary stenosis(≥75 % in diameter). The effect and prngnosis of coronary interventionary therapy in patients were observed. Results The results of coro- nary angiongraphy suggested there were 18 patiens of coronary stenosis(≥75 % in diameter),PTCA and stent im- plantation were performed in 13 patients.Symptom was relieved greatly after the operation. There were 2 patients of coronary stenosis again, and 5 patients died. Conclusion Selected coronary angiography was an effective way to di- agnose CHD.The coronery interventioned therapy was not only effective in relieving symptom, but also in improving the quality of life of patients with CAD.

OBJECTIVEThe present study investigated the effects of rapamycin on Aβ1-42-induced deficits in working memory and synaptic plasticity.
METHODSAfter bilateral hippocampal injection of Aβ1-42 and rapamycinin rats, spontaneous alternation in Y-maze and in vivo hippocampal long-term potentiation (LTP) of rats were recorded. All data were analized by two-way repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA).
RESULTS(Hippocampal injection of Aβ1-42 alone impaired working memory of rats; (2) Rapamycin did not affect working memory of rats, but alleviated Aβ1-42-induced working memory deficits, compared with Aβ1-42 alone group; (Aβ1-42 remarkably suppressed in vivo hippocampal LTP of fEPSPs in the CA1 region; (4) Pretreatment with rapamycin prevented Aβ1-42-induced suppression of LTP.
CONCLUSIONThese data indicates that rapamycin could protect against Aβ1-42-induced impairments in working memory and synaptic plasticity in rats.
