Castration-resistant prostate cancer is a fatal disease with rapid progress. This malignancy usually presents with metastasis and poor prognosis. This type of disease also often causes 100%mortality, of which the median survival time is less than 20 months. Thus, treatment of castration-resistant prostate cancer remains challenging, and the underlying mechanisms of this cancer have yet to be identified. Several new therapies for castration-resistant prostate cancer have been proposed, such as androgen receptor antago-nists, immunotherapeutic drugs, taxanes, antiangiogenic agents, radionuclides, and bone-targeting drugs. These therapies can im-prove the survival time of patients. The advances in the treatment of castration-resistant prostate cancer are briefly reviewed in this ar-ticle.

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2005;0(11):-
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of small-incision Dewar's operation for acute acromioclavicular dislocation. Methods Without exposing the a-c joint, the coracoid tip with tendon were transferred to the clavicle to reconstruct the coracoclavicular ligaments. And then the a-c joint was statically fixed and dynamically replaced. Results A 1-to 9-year follow-up(mean,4.9 years)was available in 52 patients.According to the Lazzcano Criteria,44 cases had excellent and 7 cases had good results, only one was failed because of bolt prematurity at 2 month after the operation.Roentgenogram,CT,and MRI showed that the surface of the acromioclavicular joint was smooth,no arthritic sign of cirrhosis, hyperplasia,or theca. The signal of the a-c joint was uniform. The Roentgenograms showed that,at the neutrality position, the distal end of the clavicle of the injured side was higher than that of the healthy side. The D/W of the healthy side was 0.432?0.101,which was significantly higher than that in the injured side(0.523?0.083,t=2.188,P=0.042).The difference between the neutrality and hold of the healthy side was 0.116?0.025,while that of the injured side was 0.087?0.016(t=1.114,P=0.280).The Roentgenograms of the raise position showed no impact in the a-c joint. Conclusions Small incision Dewar's operation is an effective, safe, and minimally invasive method for the treatment of acute acromioclavicular dislocation.
8.Identification and Antimicrobial Resistance Analysis of Mycoplasma from Cervical Secretion
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(08):-
OBJECTIVE To study infection and drug resistance of Mycoplasma from female genital tract.METHODS Mycoplasma in cervical secretion from inflammed female genital tract were identified by cultivation, and the sensitivities to antibiotics were also performed.RESULTS Mycoplasma were detected in 318 specimens among 588 patients with genital tract inflammation(54.1%),among which Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) accounted for 312(98.1%),and Mycoplasma hominis was 6(1.9%).The resistance to 12 kinds of antibiotics indicated that the sensitivities to 8 kinds of antibiotics were higher than 80% and the sensitivities to erythromycin, spiramycin and tetracycline were the lowest.CONCLUSIONS The infectious rates of Uu are on big rise in female genital tract with inflammation and the resistant strains increase continuously.

Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
Microbial production of 5-aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA) by photosynthetic bacteria compared to other bacteria and algae was reviewed. During anaerobic cultivation of the Rhodobacter spaeroides mutant strain, control of the redox potential was effective or producing large amounts of extracellular ALA. ALA has been practically applied in agriculture as herbicide, pesticide and growth-promoting factor for plants. New agriculture applications including salt tolerance and cold temperature tolerance of plants were also desired. Finally recent medical application for cancer treatment, tumor diagnosis and other clinical uses were discussed.
10.Hemodynamic Study on Central Retinal Artery in Patients with Ischemic Cerebrovascular Disease by Color Doppler Flow Imaging
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2008;14(12):1161-1162
Objective To explore the feasible of diagnosing ischemic cerebrovascular diseases by detecting central retina artery sclerosis(CRA) with color Doppler ultrasonography.Methods210 patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease(420 eyes) and 80 healthy volunteers(160 eyes) were examined by color Doppler flow imaging(CDFI) to detect double sides blood frequency spectrum of CRA and hemodynamic parameters of CRA including peak systolic velocity(PSV),end of diastolic velocity(EDV)and resistant index(RI).ResultsThe blood frequency spectrum of CRA showed three apices and two vales or slanting triangle in healthy volunteers. But in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease, the blood frequency spectrum changed, and PSV and EDV were slower and RI increased compared with those in the healthy volunteers(PP<0.05~0.001).ConclusionIn patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease, the blood flow of CRA is slower and RI increases compared with health individuals. The color Doppler ultrasonography can used for diagnosis of CRA sclerosis.
