Objective:To study influence of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) on ambulatory blood pressure (ABP) levels and blood pressure variability (BPV) in aged patients with essential hypertension (EH) .Methods:A total of 80 aged EH +T2DM patients treated in our hospital from Jun 2014 to Jan 2016 were selected as observation group ,another 80 aged pure EH patients were selected as EH control group .The 24hABP indexes and BPV indexes were compared between two groups . Results:Compared with EH control group , there were significant rise in 24h mean systolic blood pressure [24hSBP , (126.47 ± 9.64) mmHg vs .(134.98 ± 10.63) mmHg] ,nighttime mean SBP [nSBP ,(125.73 ± 10.19) mmHg vs .(133.74 ± 11.29) mmHg] ,daytime mean SBP [dSBP ,(128.29 ± 10.97) mmHg vs .(136.42 ± 12.18) mmHg] ,daytime mean pulse pressure [dPP ,(59.46 ± 10.79) mmHg vs .(65.38 ± 11.69) mmHg] ,nPP [ (58.00 ± 10.11) mmHg vs .(67.14 ± 9.93) mmHg] and 24hPP [ (59.27 ± 10.16) mmHg vs .(64.76 ± 11.62) mmHg] , P<0.01 all;and significant rise in 24hSBP standard deviation [24hSBPSD ,(12.63 ± 2.87) mmHg vs .(18.41 ± 3.09) mmHg] and nSBPSD [ (10.14 ± 3.53) mmHg vs .(14.89 ± 3.54) mmHg] in observation group , P<0.01 both .Conclusion:Diabetes mellitus elevates daytime and nighttime SBP ,increases BPV and risk of cardiovascular diseases in aged EH patients .

Objective To discuss the microcosmic elements and syndromes distribution of H pylori-related gastritis. [Method] Choose 100 cases, under gastroscope report, make statistics of frequency of disease nature elements and location elements, combine the nature and location for common syndromes. [Result] The H pylori-related gastritis has main disease location elements in stomach, esp. the sinuses ventriculi;the disease nature elements mainly concern hot, wet, sputum stasis, deficiency and blood stasis; the common syndromes: hot stomach, sputum and stasis blocking stomach, wet-hot accumulated in stomach, deficient stomach, wet stranding stomach and stasis blocking gastric col aterals. [Conclusion] Over the inconsistent syndromes in clinical H pylori-related gastritis, the microcosmic elements differentiation can further standardize syndromes and guide the treatment.

Two Kinds of monoclonal antibodies (McAbs), Ft9 and Ft9t44, have been produced using the vaccine strain of Franciisela.tularensis as an antigen.The McAbs. Ft9 and Ft4,4, were isotyped to be IgG2b and IgM respectively Ft9 was found to be directed against outer membrane protein of F. tularensis, while Ft44 directed against lipopolysaccharide. The McAbs have been identified in detecting F. tularensis cells in an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Ft9 was able to react with the bacterium in agglutination test and fluorescent antibody stain with no cross-reaction with other bacteria was found.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of subconjunctival injection of Bevacizumab(Avastin) on corneal neovascularization(CNV) in rabbits.Methods:Forty-eight New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into three groups:normal control group(group A,3 rabbits),neovascularization group(group B,9 rabbits) and Bevacizumab treatment group(group C,36 rabbits).Group C was further divided into group C1(1 day small dose group),C2(1 day high dose group),C3(14 days small dose group) and C4(14 days high dose group),with 9 rabbits each group.CNV model was made by suture in group B and C.Animals in group C were injected subconjunctivally with 0.1 ml or 0.2 ml Bevacizumab(25 mg/ml) in the left eyes.The growth of CNV was observed every day after operation and the neovascularization areas calculated.Expression of VEGF in the cornea was detected by immunohistochemistry on day 7,14 and 28 after suture.VEGF content in the aqueous humor was determined by ELISA assay.Results:CNV growth in group C1 and C2 was inhibited significantly compared with that in group B on day 7,14 and 28(P

Objective:To prepare anti-AchR monoclonal antibodies from rat bone marrow.Methods:The extracellular region of human AchR ?1 subunit was expressed in E.coli and purified using a Ni-NTA column.Then the protein was refolded by dialyzing.Lewis rats were immunized with purified AchR ?1 subunit and B cells from bone marrow and spleen were fused with myeloma cells to generate monoclonal antibodies.Results:Human AchR ?1 subunit was successfully expressed in E.coli.Rats immunized with the refolded protein were shown symptoms of Myasthenia gravis.Hybridoma cells were produced using B cells from rat bone marrow and spleen.Conclusion:Bone marrow cells can be immortalized using hybridoma method,which can be used for further study of Myasthenia gravis.

Objective To study the distal intramural spread of rectal carcinoma, and provide evidence for modification of rectal carcinoma surgery. Methods Sixty patients with rectal carcinoma admitted to the first affiliated hospital of Chongqing university of medical science from November 2001 to October 2002 were included. The specimens were extended to its original size and shape by the fat clearing method. Mesenteric lymph nodes were dissected by using transillumination to examine metastases histologically, then a lymph nodes map was produced which including the site of the primary lesion, the vascular distribution, and the sites of dissected nodes. The specimen below the distal margin of the tumor was cut continuously with 0.5 cm interval then sectioned for histopathological examination. Results Tumor spread to the distal intramural was observed in 11 of 60 patients (18.3%) with the range within 1.5 cm, of which less than 0.5 cm in 5 case, 5 cm to 1.0 cm in 2 cases, 1.0 cm to 1.5 cm in 4 cases. The tumor invasion was correlated with gross type, histological type and infiltrative depth, but not with sex, age, location of the tumor, size of the tumor, lymph nodes metastases and Dukes stage. Conclusion The range of distal mural excision should exceed 1.5 cm to tumor margin in radical surgery for rectal carcinoma. This rule should be emphasized for patients with poor cell differentiation and deep infiltration.

Total 11 008 subjects underwent routine health check-up at Tianjin General Hospital in 2008. The results showed that the rate of hyperuricemia was 11.56% ( 1272/11 008 ) in this population, 17. 17% ( 1216/7082 ) for male, and 1.43% (56/3926) for female (P ＜0. 05). The serum uric acid levels were positively correlates with body mass index ( r = 0. 346), waist circumference ( r = 0. 449), systolic blood pressure ( r = 0. 193 ), diastolic blood pressure ( r = 0. 240), total cholesterol levels ( r = 0. 240) and triglyceride ester levels ( r = 0. 284 ). The factors including overweight, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and hyperglycosemia were clustered in subjects with hyperuricemia.

Objective To explore the hemodynamics changes of patent foramen ovale (PFO) ofnewborn and early infant.Methods Two groups of cases were analyzed in the study.One group was 60 cases of left-to-right(L-R)shunt in fossa ovalis(FO),the other group was 31 cases of PFO that were foundduring corrective heart surgery but no shunts in FO detected by echocardiography.ACUSON 128 was used.The main indexes were mobility of FO valve,phase,direction,velocity of shunt in FO,jet width.Results ①Valve of FO moved from left to right and right to left with the change of cardiac-period;②44 cages appeared that the jet with<5 mm,Doppler spectrum was two-peaks, positive continuity,peak flow velocity <0.5 m/s;③1 6 cases appeared that the jet width>6 mm,postive wide spectrum,continued from latesystole to diastole,peak flow velocity>0.6 cm/s;④Inside diameter in surgery group was 2～6 mm,meanvalue was 3.4 mm.Conelusions FO valves appears two-directional shunt,the PFO of newborn and early infant mostly appears left-to-right shunt.Atrial septal defect could be diagnosed when the jet width>6 mmand peak flow velocity>0.6 m/s.
