Objective To compare laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) and open cholecystectomy (OC) on their effects on systemic inflammatory immunological reactions. Methods Peripheral T-lymphocyte subpopulation, white blood cell (WBC) count, C-reactive protein (CRP) and Interleukin-6 (IL-6) before the surgery, 1 hour, 1 day and 2 days after the surgery, respectively, in patients with cholelithiasis or polypoid lesions of the gallbladder receiving either LC (n=30) or OC (n=30), were recorded and compared. The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used for IL-6 determination and the flow cytometry was adopted for T-lymphocyte subpopulation counting. Results The levels of CD3 ( q =5 822, P 0 05). Significantly lowered levels of WBC count ( t =4 904, P =0 000), CRP ( t =9 409, P =0 000) and IL-6 ( t =6 471, P =0 000) in group LC as compared with group OC 2 days after the surgery were observed. Conclusions LC imposes less influences on the systemic inflammatory immunological reactions and benefits the patient’s recovery.

Treating different diseases with the same method is a unique original thinking in Chinese medicine, which embodies the spirit of treatment based on syndrome differentiation. We briefly reviewed the origin and development of this concept. We also reviewed that thinking of combination of disease and syndrome is its premise and foundation. We put forward the conditionality of diseases in treating different diseases with the same method by cutting-in modern biological basic researches, that is to say, one kind specific diseases or disease of one specific system. We emphasized the importance of diseases conditionality in treating different diseases with the same method, which was of great significance in studies on combination of disease and syndrome, correspondence of prescription and syndrome, and modern biological basic researches of treating different diseases with the same method.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1994;0(06):-
Objective To assess the efficacy of the mixtures of different concentrations of ropivacaine(R) and chloroprocaine(C)for epidural anesthesia in patients undergoing hysterectomy. Methods Sixty ASAⅠorⅡpatients aged 27-56 weighing 45-75 kg undergoing elective hysterectomy were randomly divided into 4 groups(n= 15 each);groupⅠ0.75% R alone;groupⅡ0.5% R-1% C;groupⅢ0.5% R-1.5% C and groupⅣ0.75% R+1% C.The epidural catheter was placed at L_(2,3)interspace and advanced 3.5 cm into the epidural space in cephalad direction.A total of 22 ml of epidural solution was injected in each group. The onset time, block height and duration of sensory block and the onset time, degree and duration of motor block(using Bromage scale)were assessed. The use of supplementary drugs(ketamine and ephedrine)and side effects were recorded. Results The onset time of sensory and motor block was significantly shorter in groupⅡ,ⅢandⅣthan in groupⅠ(0.75% R alone). The duration of sensory and motor block was significantly shorter in groupⅡandⅢthan in groupⅠandⅣ.The incidence of hypotension was significantly increased but the incidence of discomfort produced by traction on the viscera during operation was reduced in groupⅣas compared with groupⅠ.Conclusion The anesthetic efficacy of epidural 0.5% ropivacaine is significantly enhanced when mixed with 1.0% or 1.5% chloroprocaine.

By establishing experimental modal of laryngeal allograft, the short-term histopathological changes of liver and kidney in Cyclosporine A (CsA)-treated rats receiving laryn- geal allograft were observed. The animals were divided into 3 groups.Group 1 was given CsA 15 mg?kg~(-1)/d by daily intraperitoneal injection for 2 weeks,Group 2 received CsA 25 mg?kg~(-1)/d, and the third group without CsA treatment served as control. All of recipients were sacrificed 14 days after transplantation.Histological examination showed that CsA nephrotoxicity was charac- terized by abundant vacuolation of the proximal tubular epithelium cells, hyaline regeneration of arterioles with thickening of vascular wall, and striped interstitial fibrosis and its hepatotoxicity by fatty degeneration with mild hyperplasia of Kupffer's cells and focal necrosis of hepatocytes. Histopathological changes of CsA-induced hepato- and nephrotoxicity of the recipients were closely correlated to the dosage of CsA received.
7.Purification and ATPase activity analysis of human PIF1 helicase participating in DNA repair
Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2009;28(3):276-279
Objective To clone, express and purify human PIF1 protein and analyze its ATPase activity. Methods The PIF1 cDNA was amplified by PCR from HeLa cell cDNA library and inserted to pET24b with histidine tag at its terminus to form pET24b-PIF1 plasmid. The recombinant pET24b-PIF1 plasmid was transformed to RosettaTM 2 (DE3) and the expression of PIF1 protein was monitored by SDS-PAGE analysis. By using fast protein liquid chromatograph (FPLC) system, the PIF1 protein was purified by affinity chromatograph and gel filtration. The ATPase activity of PIF1 was checked by thin layer chromatograph(TLC). Results The PIF1 protein was successfully cloned and expressed in E.coli. Conclusions The purification procedure of PIF1 protein was established using FPLC. The overexpressed and the purified PIF1 helicase has DNA and Mg2+ dependent ATPase activity.

Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(08):-
Objective To know the status of microbial contamination in filtrated water and edible ice used in food processing, and to provide experimental basis for the management of HACCP of filtrated water and edible ice. Methods The samples of water and ice were collected from a western style restaurant in Changchun. The microbial indicators were tested based on Standard Examination Methods for Drinking Water(2001). Results Results In the third quarter, 37.8%, 32.4%, 13.5% of total bacterium counts, total coliform counts, feces coliform counts of the water samples was unqualified. Conclusion The filtrated water and edible ice used in restaurants can be contaminated by microbes in degree. It is necessary for HACCP of filtrated water involved coliform counts contamination to carry out dynamic monitoring.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 1984;0(02):-
The nuclear organizer region stained with silver colloid technique(AgNOR)was quantitatively studied in 100 cases of transitional cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder. It was found that the average number of AgNOR granules was significantly different between various grades of transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder and was closely correlated with the prognosis of the patient. It is believed that AgNOR counting is a simple, economic and reliable method for the grading and the evaluation of the biological behavior of the transitional cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder.
