1.Expression of CD_64 in Neonatal Infection Disease and Its Clinical Significance

Objective To study CD64 expression in neutrophilic granulocyte and its clinical effect in neonatal infection disease. Methods CD64 was detected among 59 neonatal patients(septicemia group 34 patients, local infection group 25 patients)hospitalized in our neonatal department diagnosed as neonatal infection disease in 48 h after hospitalized,2 weeks after therapy, then the results were compared with 27 patients as non - infection disease during the same period. Results CD64 in septicemia group was (6156. 21?3643. 32) molecula per cell,in local infection group was (2176.19 ? 946. 32)molecula per cell, in non- infection group was (2176. 19 ? 946. 32) molecula per cell.There were significant differences among three groups (all P0.05). Conclusions CD64 expression increases in bacterium infection disease. It is more obvious in widespread infection desease.and it can be the mark in early diagnosis of neonatal infection disease.

4.Problems and solutions of clinical skills training process for ultrasound medicine professional postgraduates

At present, the clinical skills training process for ultrasound medicine professional postgraduates is still facing many problems, such as inadequate guidance from tutors, little accumulation of clinical knowledge and practice, not solid basic ultrasonic skills, imperfect assessment system, and disconnection between scientific research and clinical practice. Analyzing the cause of problems, combining with the characteristics of ultrasound medicine and our experience in the clinical skills training process, we have put forward targeted solutions, such as building a complete and efficient training team, attaching importance to rotation and cultivation of relevant clinical departments, realizing teaching objectives by different levels and stages, establishing a perfect management, supervision and assessment system, paying attention to the combination of clinical and scientific research ability, so as to improve the quality and efficiency of clinical skills training process of ultrasound medicine.
5.Effects of fibrogenetic growth factors on migration of hepatic stellate cells

Objective To investigate the impact of alterations within the space of Disse micro- environment on the migration of hepatic stellate cells(HSC) during the process of liver fibrosis,and to ex plore the novel mechanism of liver fibrosis from the view of cell migration.Methods A modified in vitro Boyden chamber system to partially mimic in vivo microenvironment of Disse space of normal and liver fibrosis was employed.The effects of fibrogenetic growth factors on the migration of HSC in liver fibrosis were observed via cell migration and cell proliferation experiments.Results Enhanced platelet-derived growth factor(PDGF)-BB,transforming growth factor(TGF)-?1 and/or epithelial growth factor(EGF) in liver fibrosis resulted in an increase in migratory capacity of activated HSC.The enhanced migration of HSCs induced by PDGF-BB was partially associated with their increased proliferation,while,TGF-?1 or EGF-induced migration was proliferation independent.The elevation of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) or vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)during liver fibrosis had no effect on the migration of HSCs.Conclusions The study provides valuable insights into the role of space of Disse microenvironment in regulating HSC migratory behavior.TGF-?1,PDGF-BB and EGF,which increased in liver fibrosis, could induce the migration of activated HSC.However,bFGF or VEGF has no such kind of effect,al- though they also increased during liver fibrosis.
6.Pharmacokinetic analysis of alpha and beta epimers of glycyrrhetinic acid in rat plasma: differences in singly and combined administrations.

An HPLC method for the determination of 18alpha-glycyrrhetinic acid and 18beta-glycyrrhetinic acid in rat plasma was established, which was used subsequently to determine the pharmacokinetic profiles of both epimers of glycyrrhetinic acid in rats. alpha-glycyrrhetinic acid, beta-glycyrrhetinic acid, and a mixture of alpha-glycyrrhetinic and beta-glycyrrhetinic acids were administered to rats via gastric infusion. Blood samples were collected at different time intervals and extracted by liquid-liquid extraction. Separation was achieved by using a Kromasil C18 column (150 mm x 4.6 mm, 5 microm) with the mobile phase composed of acetonitrile--4 mmol x L(-1) ammonium acetate solution (46 : 54, v/v) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL x min(-1), and the detection wavelength was set at 250 nm. The pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated using the software DAS 2.0. In a combined administration, the main pharmacokinetic parameters of beta-glycyrrhetinic acid are significantly different from that of alpha-glycyrrhetinic acid (P < 0.05), while no significant difference was obtained when administrated individually. Compared to the single administration, significant differences (P < 0.05) on the values of AUC(0-t) and AUC(0-infinity) of beta-glycyrrhetinic acid were observed when this chemical was administrated together with alpha-glycyrrhetinic acid. In contrast, the pharmacokinetic parameters of alpha-glycyrrhetinic acid were not affected even under the co-administration. Here, a sensitive, specific, rapid and reproducible HPLC method was developed for the pharmacokinetic studies of alpha-glycyrrhetinic acid and beta-glycyrrhetinic acid in rat plasma.
7.Clinical analysis of primary percutaneous coronary intervention in patients with acute myocardial infarction

Objective To report the clinical effect of primary percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI).Methods A retrospective study was accomplished on the clinical data of 13 AMI patients who underwent PCI from March 2004 to April 2006.Results The infarct-related artery (IRA)was successfully recanalized by primary PCI for 12 AMI patients,without major complications occurred in these cases during hospitalization.Conclusion Primary PCI should be firstly chosen for treatment of AMI in the hospitals which could carry out PCI.
8.Effects of orthodontic tooth movements on insulin-like growth factors expression in periodontal tissues.

OBJECTIVETo elucidate the regulatory bio-mechanism of estrogen and local stress on the bone remodeling activities in vivo.
METHODSA Wistar rat experimental model was established to apply orthodontic activation during different stages of estrous cycle. In situ hybridization was used to detect the variation of the insulin-like growth factors (IGF) mRNA expression in the periodontal tissues. The data of each group was analyzed with SPSS 11.0 software package for Student-Newman-Keuls (S-N-K) test and one way ANOVA test.
RESULTSBoth IGF-I mRNA and IGF-II mRNA level expressed in the periodontal tissues were increased by orthodontic activation during various stages of the estrous cycle. But a similar pattern emerged that the IGF-I mRNA level was the lowest in the estrous stage, whereas its level was the highest in the proestrus stage (P < 0.05). No rhythm of IGF-II mRNA expression found during the estrous cycle.
CONCLUSIONIt was concluded that local mechanical stimulation directly enhanced the IGF expression. In contrast to the IGF-II, IGF-I was also influenced by the sex hormone rhythm during the estrous cycle.

9.A bio-mechanism study of differential orthodontic tooth moving speed during the estrous cycle.

OBJECTIVEThe purpose of this article was to investigate the changes of the estrogen and insulin-like growth factors (IGF) level induced by orthodontic tooth movements in order to elucidate the bio-mechanism of orthodontic treatments during the estrous cycle.
METHODSA Wistar rat experimental model was established to apply orthodontic activation during different stages of estrous. The serum and periodontal tissue estradiol level were determined by radioimmunoassay and immunohistochemistry. In situ hybridization was also used to detect the variation of the IGF mRNA expression in the periodontal tissues. The data of each group was analyzed with SPSS 11.0 software package.
RESULTSBoth serum and periodontal estradiol level were increased by orthodontic activation during various stages of the estrous. IGF mRNA expression were also enhanced with the same trend. The estradiol and IGF- I level showed in a similar pattern during the estrous cycle and the rhythm was not changed by the orthodontic activation. There was no rhythm of IGF-II expression found in the estrous cycle.
CONCLUSIONIt was concluded that estrogen and IGF were involved in the remodeling activities induced by the orthodontic activation. The speed of the orthodontic tooth movements was closely related to the estrous cycle.

10.Case-control study on T-shaped locking internal fixation and external fixation for the treatment of dorsal Barton's fracture.

OBJECTIVETo compare clinical effect of T-shaped locking internal fixation and external fixation in treating dorsal Barton's fracture,and investigate selective strategy of internal fixation.
METHODSFrom January 2008 to January 2013, 100 patients with dorsal Barton's fracture were randomly divided into two groups. In treatment group, there were 30 males and 20 females with an average age of (33.8±3.6) years old;30 cases were type B, 20 cases were type C;and treated with T-shaped locking internal fixation. In control group, there were 32 male and 18 females with an average age of (32.9±3.4) years old; 29 cases were type B, 21 cases were type C; and treated with external fixation. Volar tilt, ulnar deviation and radial height at 3 months after operation were detected and compared between two groups. Mechara functional evaluation were used to evaluate postoperative clinical effects. Clinical cure time, postoperative complications,joint mobility and function score were recorded and compared between two groups.
RESULTSIn treatment group,volar tilt was (11.9±2.7)°, ulnar deviation was (20.8+ 2.9)°,and radial height was (10.9±1.8) mm; while volar tilt was (9.1±1.6)°, ulnar deviation was (17.1±2.9)°, and radial height was (8.1±1.5) mm in control group. Treatment group was better than control group in volar tilt, ulnar deviation and radial height. Clinical cure time in treatment group was(12.0±2.3) weeks, shorter than control group (18.0±4.1) weeks. The incidence of complications in treatment group was lower than control group. According to Mehara functional evaluation,20 cases got excellent results, 25 good, 3 moderate and 2 poor in treatment group; 16 cases got excellent results, 14 good, 10 moderate and 10 poor in control group. Treatment group was better than control group in clinical effects.
CONCLUSIONT-shaped locking internal fixation with postoperative functional exercise for the treatment of dorsal Barton's fracture fits for biomechanics demands,and has advantages of stable fixation,rapid recovery, less complications and good functional recovery, it has better clinical effects.
