The effect of phenol concentration on the structure and function of microbial communities, which were cultured in different conditions using coking wastewater biofilm as seeding, was investigated by Biolog and denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis(DGGE)methods. The less number of bands of cultivated sam-ples on the denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis fingerprint of 16S rRNA gene indicated reduction of di-versity after enrichment and cultivation. Some bands on the DGGE gel were significantly influenced by the phenol concentration in medium. The results of Biolog showed that the original biofilm sample had the highest substrate utility capacity as measured by average well color development(AWCD).But low concen-tration of phenol enriched sample S7 showed more diverse activity on the utility of Carboxylic acids. The principal component analysis(PCA)of Biolog data revealed that the metabolic patterns were similar when using the same phenol concentration, although the sample S7 much less similar to other cultivated samples. These results suggested that the enrichment and cultivation with phenol supplemented decreased the diver-sity and also changed the metabolic function of the microbial community.Lower phenol concentration in-creased the microbial community metabolic activity. The phenol degrading capacity of isolates from each samples indicated that the enrichment and cultivation condition had changed the type and property of cul-truable bacteria.Based on these results,we concluded that the different microorganisms will be isolated un-der different cultivation condition.

Objective To investigate the relationship between diastolic function of the left ventricle and common carotid artery (CCA) elasticity in patients with hypertension. Methods Forty-one primary hypertension patients and 31 healthy volunteers underwent echocardiography to obtain the indices of LV diastolic function and also echo tracking techniqne (ET) to obtain the CCA elasticity indices. The LV diastolic function indices included Ve (early diastolic peak velocity), Va (late diastolic peak velocity ), Ve/Va, Em (early diastolic mitral annular motive velicity), Am (late diastolic mitral annular motive velicity) and Em/Am. The indices of CCA elasticity included Ep (pressure-strain elasticity modulus), β(stiffness parameter), AC (arterial compliance), AI (augmentation index) and PWVβ (pulse wave velocity). Results Va was higher and Em, Ve/Va and Em/Am were lower in patients than that in the healthy , P<0.05. Ep and PWVβ were higher in patients,P<0.05. Am and Va were correlated positively with PWV β and Ep , respectively in patients, P<0.05. Ve/Va was correlated positively with AC, and negatively with PWV β, P<0.05 in patients. Em/Am was correlated negatively with β and PWV β in patients. Conclusions The LV diastolic function and common carotid artery elasticity were decreased in patients with hypertension. The decreased common carotid artery elasticity was along with the LV diastolic function decreased.

Objective To observe the efficacy and toxicity of low dose thalidomide combined with VAD regimen contained one-week dexamethasone in treatment on patients with multiple myeloma (MM). Methods 42 patients with MM were diagnosed in our hospital. The VAD regimen contained one-week dexamethasone was vincristine 0.4 mg/d, adramycin 10 mg/d and dexamethasone 40 mg/d for 4 days. At the same time, thalidomide is given 150-200 mg/d. Results The overall response rate (ORR) is 80.95%. Before and after treatment, all the detection indicators in MM patients were statistically different (P<0.001). There is small adverse reactions. Conclusion Low dose thalidomide combined with VAD regimen contained one-week dexamethasone in treatment of MM has more merits such as less side effects, good tolerance, convenient administration and significant curative effects, so it should be recommended in clinical works.

With the deepening of research in recent years, tumor metabolic reprogramming has gradually become the focus of research, and targeting tumor cell metabolism has also become a new means of tumor therapy. The metabolic process affects almost all the physiological processes of the organism, and lipid metabolism is an important part of the metabolic process. Studies have shown that changes in lipid uptake, storage and fatty acid synthesis and decomposition have occurred in a variety of tumors. Abnormal lipid metabolism will promote the rapid proliferation of tumors. Abnormal expression of a variety of key metabolic enzymes in the process of lipid metabolism is the key to tumor progression. The purpose of this paper is to explain the metabolic regulation of lipid metabolism and related metabolic enzymes in hematological tumors, and to provide ideas for the treatment of hematological tumors.

Journal of Forensic Medicine 2014;30(3):181-183
OBJECTIVE:
To study the influence of different positions in the isokinetic muscle test of knees by CON-TREX Biomechanical Test and Training System, so as to select the suitable conditions for forensic identification of muscle strength test.
METHODS:
Fifty-two healthy volunteers joined the isokinetic muscle strength test in unfixed and fixed position, respectively and in two kinds of angular speed (60 degrees/s and 30 degrees/s). The differences of peak torque (PT) and peak torque angle (PTA) between bilateral knee flexor and extensor were statistically analyzed.
RESULTS:
In the unfixed position, under the two speed, there was statistically significant difference in PT between bilateral knee flexor and extensor (P < 0.05); while in the fixed position, under the two speed, there was no statistically significant difference (P > 0.05). In any kind of conditions, the PTA of bilateral knee flexor and extensor did not have statistically significant difference (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSION
The position of the subject influences the results of PT. So the position of subject in knees isokinetic muscle test should be regulated.

Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry 2018;46(4):524-529
A novel method for determination of methylamines and methylamine-N-oxides in fine particles using solid phase extraction (SPE) coupled with ion chromatography (IC) was developed. The experimental conditions including solid phase extraction and chromatographic condition were optimized. The quartz filter loaded with particulate matter (PM) samples was ultrasonically extracted with 20 mL of methanol and water (1:3,V/V) mixture and the extraction process repeated for another 2 times. After the extraction, a total of 60 mL of extraction solvent was dropped into the extraction equipment in solid phase column. The Agilent AccuBond C18was chosen for enriching the methylamine, dimethylamine, trimethylamine and trimethylamine-N-oxide in fine particles. Under the optimum conditions, the target species on Agilent Accu Bond C18were washed by 0. 5 mL of acetonitrile solution and then concentrated into a constant volume (2 mL) before injecting into IC for analysis. A 250 mm×4 mm id PRP X-200 column was used for the separation of analytes at the temperature of 25oC. The mobile phase was a mixture of acetonitrile solution (3%, V/V) and nitric acid (5 mmol/L) with the flow rate being kept at 1 mL/min. The four aliphatic amine species were fully resolved and the separations were completed within 30 min. The linearity of the four compounds ranged from 0.45 to 1000 μg/kg with the precisions of 2%-4% and the detection limits of 0.002-0.003 μg/m3. The recoveries of four aliphatic amine species in real environmental samples were higher than 90%. This method was successfully applied to the analysis of real fine particle samples collected at Beijing. The concentrations of trimethylamine and methylamine-N-oxides were in the range of 0.01-0.08 μg/m3and 0.02-0.14 μg/m3for Beijing dust and haze samples, respectively.
