ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of clinical pathway teaching methord in nursing practice teaching. Methods80 junior college nursing students were randomly divided into control and experimental groups. Traditional clinical teaching method was given to control group, while the clinical pathway teaching method was given to observation group. Scores of comprehensive quality after departmental rotation and satisfaction rates of nursing students to teaching method in these two groups were evaluated. ResultsThe experimental group was significantly better than the control group ( P＜0.05 ), and the difference was statistically significant. ConclusionThe clinical pathway can significantly improve the quality of nursing practice teaching.

Endotoxins are lipopolysaccharides ( LPS) , major component of out wall in Gram-negative bacteria. AIM: To evaluate the effects of the extract of Buddleja officinalis eye drops in basic tears secretory volume, tear film stability, expression of androgen receptors(AR) in castrated rats with dry eye, and to investigate the therapeutic effects of extract of Buddleja officinalis on dry eye caused by gonadal hormones level imbalance. METHODS:A total of 45 Wistar masculinity rats were divided at random into 9 groups, including normal group(A1,A2 and A3), model group(B1,B2 and B3), therapy group with extract of Buddleja officinalis eye drops(C1,C2 and C3). The "1" stood for being fed for 1 month, and "2" for 2 months, and "3" for 3 months. The dry eye model was established with orchiectomy on group B,C. Group C was treated with Buddleja officinalis extract eye drops for one month. All rats were checked with Schirmer Ⅰ test (SⅠt) and tear film break-up time (BUT). Expression of AR was analyzed by flow cytometer(FCM). RESULTS:The SⅠt value of group C was significantly higher than that of group B (P<0.01) and the BUT value of group C was significantly longer than that of group B (P<0.01), which indicated the eye drop could significantly keep basic tears secretory volume and tear film stability. And the expression of AR of group C was much higher than that of group B,which showed that available composition of the eye drops maybe display androgen-like activity.CONCLUSION:The main components of extract of Buddleja officinalis is the flavonoids which could significantly inhibit happening of dry eye of rat after androgen level lowered. Its mechanism is like androgen's and it could display androgen-like activity to keep basic tears secretory volume and tear film stability.

AIM: To study the role of nitric oxide ( NO ) and γ-aminobutyric acid ( GABA) in the formation of amblyopia by establishing 2 different types of amblyopic models.METHODS:A total of 18 aged 3-week kittens were randomly divided into monocular deprivation, strabismus and normal groups. All types of amblyopia were developed in the experimental eyes that were detected by P-VEP 12wk later. The cats were killed and the immunocytochemistry staining method were applied to observe under the light microscope the changes of distribution and positive cells areas of NO and GABA across the amblyopic retinal, compared to that from the normal cats of identical age.
RESULTS: The P-VEP showed that the amplitude of wave P1 was lower (P<0. 05) and the P1 latent time was longer ( P<0. 05 ) in two types of amblyopic cats than those in the normal cats. Compared to the normal cats, the NO and GABA positive cells areas were obviously reduced ( P<0. 05 ) across the retina in the amblyopic cats. But no significant difference was found between two kinds of amblyopic cats.
CONCLUSION:The NO and GABA play an important role in the formation of amblyopia in the level of retinal.

BACKGROUND:Unlike linear RNAs,circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a novel type of RNA which can form covalently closed circles and are highly expressed in eukaryotic transcriptomes.In the plenitude of naturally occurring RNAs,circRNAs and their biological role are underestimated for years.Recent studies have discovered thousands of endogenous circRNAs in mammalian cells.OBJECTIVE:To review the formation,properties,and functions of circRNAs,and their potential significance in diseases.METHODS:A computer-based search for literature in CNKI and PubMed databases published from January 2000 to December 2016 was performed using the keywords of "circRNA,miRNA,function,mechanism" in English and Chinese,respectively.Finally,62 eligible articles were included for analysis.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:CircRNAs are largely generated from exonic or intronic sequences,and reverse complementary sequences or RNA-binding proteins are necessary for circRNA biogenesis.A majority of circRNAs that are conserved across specie are stable and resistant to RNaseR,and often exhibit tissue/developmental-stage-specific expression.Recent research has revealed that circRNAs can function as microRNA sponges,regulators of splicing and transcription,and modifiers of parental gene expression.Emerging evidence indicates that circRNAs might play important roles in atherosclerotic vascular diseases,neurological disorders,prion diseases and cancer;exhibit aberrant expression in colorectal cancer;and serve as diagnostic or predictive biomarkers of some diseases.Similar to microRNAs and long noncoding RNAs,circRNAs are arousing general interest in the field of RNA and widely participate in the life process.

OBJECTIVETo learn about the complete genomic sequence of the Seoul virus strain ZT10 isolated from M. fartis.

METHODSThe total RNA was extracted from the infected Vero E6 cells and amplified by RT-PCR. The purified PCR products were cloned into T-vector and sequenced.

RESULTSThe results demonstrated that the complete genome of ZT10 was comprised of L(6530), M(3651) and S(1753) segments which encoded 2151-1133 and 429 amino acids respectively.

CONCLUSIONAnalysis of sequence revealed that the ZT10 belonged to Seoul virus. The nucleotide sequence identity of the M gene with Seoul virus was 84.0%-96.3%. The identity with Hantan vrisu (Prospect Hill virus, Tula virus) isolated from M. fartis was 57.5%-60.9%. The sequence identity of the S gene with Seoul virus was 87.9%-96.0% at nucleotide level and 96.9%-97.9% at amino acid level.
