OBJECTIVE:To know the utilization of essential medicines in outpatient department of Sichuan Shuangliu Maternal and Child-care Hospital,and provide reference for the rational drug use. METHODS:The types,names,formulations,consump-tion sum and utilization of essential medicines in the outpatient department of the hospital from 2012 to 2013 were statistically ana-lyzed and ranked. The affordability of top 10 drugs in the list of DDDs was evaluated. RESULTS:Compared with 2012,the con-sumption sum proportion of essential medicines in the outpatient department of the hospital in 2013 was increased by 5.80%. The top 10 essential medicines in the list of consumption sum were mainly anti-microbial drugs,anti-anemia drugs and Chinese patent medicines. The relative daily wages of Kangfuxin solution and Amoxillin and clavulanate potassium tablets were respectively 2.12 d and 2.05 d,with poor affordability,and in 2012,they ranked the 5th and 8th in the list of DDDs;the relative daily wages of Xiao-er changweikang granule and Xingpi yanger granule were respectively 2.28 d and 2.14 d,with poor affordability,and in 2013, they ranked the 8th and 10th in the list of DDDs. CONCLUSIONS:The utilization of essential medicines in the hospital is basical-ly good,with a trend of increasing. However,the similar essential medicines with lower prices should be considered when essential medicines are used in the clinic.

Objective To compare the effect of Gegensu Injection and Chinese Traditional Medicine on Chronic Renal Failure.Methods 70 cases of Chronic Renal Failure were selected as group A, treated by Gegensu Injection; During the same term,60 cases of Chronic Renal Failure were selected as group B, treated by Chinese Traditional Medicine and Chinese Traditional Medicine Clyster. AIM: Using functional magnetic resonance imaging, to inspect v sual cortex physical reactions stimulated by rotating grating, and to its components. METHODS: On 1.5T MR scanner, GRE-EPI imaging sequence was carried on 9 h discover ealthy volunteers, the visual cortex response data were processed after delinearation by SPM99.RESULTS: Different components of rotating grating excited different areas of the visual cortex. Dramatic response in the central part of the occipital lobe, which was related to white light stimuli, located at primary visual cortex. Response area in bilateral Broadaman 19 areas was related to vision-motion function. And weak response area in the central part of the occipital lobe was related to shape perception.CONCLUSION: Rotating grating conclude plenty of visual information, and it excites different areas of the optic center as a stimuli. fMRI is a valuable equipment to study the physiology of visual cortex.

OBJECTIVE:To survey and evaluate the present situation and trends of antidiabetic agents used in hospitals of southwest China so as to provide information for the production,sale and consumption units.METHODS:To investigate the antidiabetic agents used in60hospitals of southwest China during the period2000～2002in respect to the sum of money of consumption,Kinds of drugs,DDDs and DDC.RESULTS:In recent3years,the annual increasing rates of consumption of oral antidiabetic agents and insulin injection were14.12%and42.09%,the proportions of costs for the oral antidiabetic agents and insulin injections in total consumption of antidiabetic agents were67.20%and32.78%respectively.CONCLUSION:The use of insulin is increasing quickly and the new dosage has developmental future.The Metformin and Glipizide are the important oral antidiabetic agents.

Objective To know the status of microbial contamination in filtrated water and edible ice used in food processing,and to provide experimental basis for the management of HACCP of filtrated water and edible ice. Methods The samples of water and ice were collected from a western style restaurant in Changchun. The microbial indicators were tested based on Standard Examination Methods for Drinking Water(2001). Results Results In the third quarter, 37.8%, 32.4%, 13.5% of total bacterium counts, total coliform counts, feces coliform counts of the water samples was unqualified. Conclusion The filtrated water and edible ice used in restaurants can be contaminated by microbes in degree. It is necessary for HACCP of filtrated water involved coliform counts contamination to carry out dynamic monitoring.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of glycosylated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c)and glycated albumin(GA) in hyperglycemia patients with liver cirrhosis (LCH).Methods One hundred LCH patients were divided into anemia and no-anemia group by Hb 110 g/L The no-anemia group was further divided into low albumin (serum albumin ＜ 30 g/L),and high albumin group (serum albumin 30-＜40 g/L).One hundred type 2 diabetes without liver cirrhosis were included as control group (T2DM).HbA1c,GA,fasting plasma glucose (FPG),postprandial 2h plasma glucose (2hPG) were collected for statistical analysis.Results (1) The HbA1c level in LCH with anemia tended lower than that in T2DM subjects [(6.76 ±2.20)％ vs (7.34 ± 1.23)％,P =0.06];though the level of GA [(19.10 ±7.47)％vs (16.68 ±2.90)％,P＜0.01] and 2hPG [(12.09 ±3.39) mmol/L vs (10.84 ±2.95) mmol/L,P＜0.05] were significantly higher than that in T2DM group.(2) No-anemia subjects in LCH group with albumin ＜ 30 g/L had obviously higher GA levels than those with albumin 30-＜ 40 g/L and T2DM (albumin≥40 g/L) [(18.79 ±2.28)％ vs (16.71 ±2.42)％ and (16.73 ±2.96)％,P＜0.01];though the level of HbA1c of three groups above has no significant difference.(3) The level of HbA1c between LCH without anemia group and T2DM group had no significant difference (P ＞ 0.05);and the level of GA between LCH without anemia group with albumin 30-＜ 40 g/L and T2DM group had no significant difference(P ＞0.05).(4) The HbA1c has a positive correlation with FPG and 2hPG in LCH (FPG∶r =0.45,P＜0.001;2hPG∶r =0.33,P=0.001) and T2DM subjects (FPG∶ r =0.76,P＜0.001;2hPG∶r =0.81,P ＜ 0.001).GA also has a positive correlation with FPG and 2hPG in LCH (FPG∶ r =0.48,P ＜0.001;2hPG:r=0.39,P ＜0.001) and T2DM subjects (FPG∶ r =0.74,P ＜0.001;2hPG∶ r =0.76,P ＜0.001).Conclusion It is unfavorable to use HbA1c to evaluate the blood glucose level in liver cirrhosis patients with Hb ＜ 110 g/L and to use GA in patients with serum albumin ＜ 30 g/L.
