2.Protection of individual medical insurance privacy and cognition of information sharing
Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2016;25(9):13-17
Objective To put forward suggestions for individuals, hospitals and medical insurance institutions in protecting medical insurance information privacy by investigating the protection of individual medical insurance pri-vacy and cognition of information sharing. Methods The need of 200 insurants for protecting their medical insur-ance information privacy was investigated with questionnaires. Results The insurants were of certain awareness in protecting their medical insurance information privacy, and believed that hospitals and medical insurance institu-tions would take measures to protect their medical insurance information privacy. However, they would not like to share their medical insurance information because they were afraid of letting them out. The awareness in protecting medical insurance information privacy and sharing medical insurance information was different in the insurants en-gaged in different works with different levels of education. Conclusion The risk of letting medical insurance infor-mation out is existed in certain hospitals and medical insurance institutions due to the problems in the management of their medical insurance information system.
3.Loss of RASAL1:a new mechanism of ras activation in cancers
Journal of International Oncology 2009;36(11):809-811
Ras is a kind of protein closely related to neoplasms, the persistent activation of which would induce tumorigenesis and progression.RASAL1 is a Ca~(2+) regulated ras GTPase-activating-like protein, the loss or decreased expression of RASAL1 induces ras activation, then results in tumongenesis and progression. In this review we sum up the mechanism of ras activation, the relationship between neoplasms and RASAL1 and the mechanism of RASAL1 expression decreasing.

7.Rehabilitating treatment of chronic pelvic inflammation by integrated traditional Chinese medicine therapy
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2002;8(4):247-248
ObjectiveTo observe the effect of integrated traditional Chinese medicine therapy on pelvic inflammation. Methods40 patients of chronic pelvic inflammation were as the group of integrated traditional Chinese medicine therapy and received Chinese herbal medicine treatment (by taken orally, clysis and hot compress), acupuncture, mental state therapy etc. Other 36 cases were as the control group and only received Chinese herbal medicine treatment by taken orally. Then effects of two groups were compared. ResultsIt shows that the group of integrated traditional Chinese medicine therapy got obviously better results than the control group (P<0.01). ConclusionsThe integrated traditional Chinese medicine therapy is more effective on chronic pelvic inflammation.

Chinese Journal of Medical Ultrasound (Electronic Edition) 2013;(8):656-661
Objective To observe the ultrasonographic features of local chest wall tumor recurrence after mastectomy for breast cancer and its clinical and histopathological characteristics. Methods The ultrasonographic features, clinical and histopathological characteristics of 27 patients with local chest wall tumor recurrence after mastectomy confirmed histopathologically were retrospectively reviewed. Results The disease-free intervals of twenty-seven patients ranged from 3 to 129 months [mean (31.9±31.4) months]. Most of the recurrence(18/27, 66.7%) occurred within 3 years after mastectomy. The clinical manifestations were:7 cases (7/27, 25.9%) with regional skin redness and swelling, red rash or ulceration on chest wall associated with or without palpable mass, 20 cases(20/27, 74.1%) with chest wall palpable masses without obvious skin change. On ultrasonography, 2 cases showed diffuse inifltrative type with ill-deifned inhomogeneous hypoechoic lesion and skin thickening. And twenty-ifve cases(43 lesions) showed mass type with a lesion size range of 5.4-114.7 mm [mean (24.4±21.6) mm]. Among them, 32 lesions were located near to the operation incision scar, 36 involved muscle layer, 38 were hypoechoic, 31 had irregular shape, 24 had indistinct margin, and 31 had blood lfow signal. In addition, calciifcation, halo, and taller-than-wide shape were absent in all 43 lesions. Conclusions The tumor recurrence often occurred within 3 years after mastectomy in high-risk patients. Ultrasonographic feature of chest wall recurrent lesion is of great value in the diagnosis.

Objective To evaluate the value of metal spring ring for localization of breast lesions. Methods Thirteen cases of nonpalpable breast benign lesion and 41 cases of breast cancer that had been treated by neoadjuvant chemotherapy were enrolled in this study. The lesion was localized with the margin being marked under the guidance of ultrasonography. Metal spring rings with proper length was used according to the maximum diameter of the lesion; and then via a 18G puncture needle, the metal spring ring was place exactly to the two ends of the biggest cross-section of the lesion by using a guide wire. Afterwards, the lesions were resected with the spring ring. The 41 patients with breast cancer received 2-to 3-week chemotherapy after the operation. Results For the 13 cases of benign breast lesion, the mass was resected accurately and completely with the spring rings. In the 41 cases of breast cancer, no residual tumor cells were found in the tissues around the margin of resection. During the postoperative chemotherapy, ultrasonography showed that the mass was reduced in 39 of the cases, among which 9 had no clear margin of the tumor before the operation shown by ultrasonography. Off the 9 cases, postoperative pathological examination found no tumor cells in the successive sections. Conclusions Localization of breast lesions under the guidance of ultrasonography is a new method for diagnosis and treatment of nonpalpable breast lesions. It is valuable for follow-up by ultrasonography, evaluation of chemotherapy, and postoperative biopsy, especially for the breast cancer patients who have received preoperative chemotherapy.
