[Objective]To evaluate the surgical results and value of posterior lumbar decompression and intervertebral bone fusion with pedicle screw interval fixation in degenerative sympotomatic lumbar scoliosis.[Method]From Jan.1999 to Apr.2006,37 cases with degenerative sympotomatic lumbar scoliosis underwent posterior lumbar decompression and intervertebral bone fusion with pedicle screw interval fixation, including 21 male and 16 female patients, aged 62.6 years old averagely. All the patients were assessed by routine X-ray and Bending X-ray.CT and MRI were performed necessarily.According to patients ' symptom, total or semi-laminectomy,intervertebral bone fusion with pedicle screw interval fixation were performed.[Result]The fellow-up period varied from 1 year to 6 years(averaged,2 years and 7 months),clinical symptoms were effectively relieved after operation in all cases.Neurological functions were evaluated using JOA system, the clinical success rate in all 37 patients was 91.9%.The corrective rate was 54.8%.The average solid arthrodsis time was 11.6 weeks. The height of intervertebral disc and corrective rate had no loss. All patients X-ray of the third month and the first year didn 't show the interplantation 's clinch and breakage.[Conclusion]In the treatment of the elderly patients with degenerative sympotomatic lumbar scoliosis, first of all,the particular principle of surgical operation should be applied, the old age and long course of disease are not absolute contraindication. In addition,The technique of posterior lumbar decompression and intervertebral bone fusion with pedicle screw interval fixation can be safely performed in the elderly patients with degenerative sympotomatic lumbar scoliosis.

Journal of China Medical University 2017;46(3):197-200
Objective To study the effect of cholecalciterol cholesterol emulsion(CCE)in the zymosan(Z)-induced acute hepatic injury. Meth-ods A total of 36 C57 BL/6 mice were randomly divided into 4 groups, namely negative control(CON)group,CCE group,Z group and CCE+Z group, respectively. There were 9 mice in each group. Mice from CON group and Z group were fed with pure water. Mice from CCE group and CCE+Z group were fed with cholecalciterol cholesterol emulsion 20μL dissolved in 200 mL pure water which was kept in darkness. After 14 days, Z group and CCE+Z group were injected with zymosan at a dose of 500 mg/kg. After 18 hours, all the mice in each group were sacrificed. The liver tissues were harvested for histopathological examination. The serum ALT levels were determined. The molecular expression of IL-6 and IL-18 in liv-er tissue of mice were evaluated by Western blotting and real-time quantitative PCR method. Results The results of histopathological examination showed that liver tissue damage in CCE+Z group was lighter than that of Z group ,and heavier than that of the CON group. Compared to the CON group,Z group had the highest serum ALT level, followed by CCE+Z group, while in Z group was significantly lower than that in CON group(all P<0.05). The expression of IL-6 and IL-18 protein and mRNA showed level of Z group was apparently higher than those of CON group and CCE+Z group(all P<0.05). Conclusion Cholecalciterol cholesterol emulsion can play certain protective effect on zymosan-induced liver injury in mice.

Objective To evaluate the preoperative nutritional status of the patients which were preparing for cardiac valves replacement using nutrition risk screening 2002 (NRS2002),and analyze the evaluation effect and bring forward the corresponding nursing interventions. Methods 226 patients who would carry out cardiac valves replacement in the context of extracorporeal circulation were evaluated by NRS2002 preoperatively.88 patients had nutrition risk. Those elective 88 patients were randomly assigned into the experimental group and the control group, each had 44 cases. Then different nursing measures were implemented in each group and the clinical outcome was contrasted in the two groups. Results In the patients who were preparing for cardiac valves replacement,88 cases had preoperative nutrition risk score ≥3 points and 138 cases < 3 points.Preoperative nutrition risk score had positive correlation with heart function grade.Difference of the experimental group and the control group in length of stay, length of mechanical ventilation after surgery and incidence rate of general complications had statistical significance. Conclusions It is effective to analyze the preoperative nutritional status of the patients with cardiac valves replacement by NRS2002.It may improve prognosis effectively by providing preoperative nursing interventions for patients with nutrition risk.Besides,it provides theoretical basis for further studying the relation between nutrition support and clinical outcome of patients with nutrition risk.

Objective To explore the effect of robot-assisted gait training on the standing and walking balance of persons with acute flaccid paralysis (AFP) resulting from hand-foot-and-mouth disease (HFMD).Methods Thirty-six persons with AFP resulting from HFMD were randomly divided into a control group and a training group, each of 18.Both groups were given conventional rehabilitation training, while the training group was additionally provided with robot-aided gait training. The control group received additional massage of their affected limbs. Before and after 15 days of treatment the subjects' standing and walking ability were evaluated using parts D and E of the gross motor function (GMFM) scale.Their balance was quantified using the Berg balance scale (BBS) and integrated surface electromyograms were recorded. Results There were no significant differences between the two groups before the treatment. After 6 weeks of treatment the average scores of both groups had improved significantly, with a significantly bigger increase observed in the training group. After the treatment, the average GMFM and BBS scores of the training group were significantly higher than those of the control group. Conclusion Gait training in addition to conventional rehabilitation training can significantly improve the standing, walking and balance of patients with HFMD resulting from AFP and promote their recovery.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2021;19(3):226-230
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture plus medicine in treating laryngopharyngeal reflux due to liver-qi stagnation and spleen deficiency. Methods: A total of 70 patients were divided into a control group and an observation group by the random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with conventional medications, and the observation group was treated with additional acupuncture therapy. The reflux symptom index (RSI) and reflux finding score (RFS) were evaluated. Esophageal motility indicators such as lower esophageal sphincter pressure (LESP) and upper esophageal sphincter pressure (UESP), and salivary pepsin level were measured. The clinical efficacy was also compared. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the RSI and RFS scores in both groups decreased significantly (all P<0.05), and the RSI and RFS scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (both P<0.05). There were no significant changes in the LESP and UESP in the control group (both P>0.05), while LESP and UESP in the observation group increased significantly (both P<0.05), and higher than those in the control group (both P<0.05). The salivary pepsin levels in both groups decreased (both P<0.05), and the salivary pepsin level in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture plus medicine can improve symptoms and signs in patients with laryngopharyngeal reflux due to liver-qi stagnation and spleen deficiency, and regulate esophageal motility and salivary pepsin level. Its efficacy is more significant compared with medicine alone.
