Objective To analyse the CT imaging characteristics of solitary pulmonary tuberculous cavity in order to improve its diagnosis level.Methods 29 cases of pulmonary tuberculous cavities comfirmed by pathology or operation.All the patients were underwent examination of contrast-enhanced CT.Results 29 cases were all solitary pulmonary cavities,93%(27/29) were located at the superior lobe of lung.The average diameter was 23.5 mm.73% of the cavities were round or similar round.The majority of the cavities (82%,24/29) were less or no lobulated;76%(22/29) were thick cavities and 51%(15/29) were less smooth both in and outside the cavities.The cavities were less enhancement.All cases along with satellite nodules.Conclusion The pulmonary tuberculous cavities are majority thick cavities.The important points for tuberculous cavities to diffierent from lung cancer and other disease cavities are:are there any satellite nodules along with the cavites,lobulated or not,the growth of CT enhancement of cavitied before and after enhancement.

The effects of ZS on plasma lipids and lipoprotein-cholesterins of rats fed on normal diet and rats fed on rich-fat diet were studied. It was found that ZS at 64 mg/kg?d-1 ip for 20 d could reduce the levels of TC and LDL-c, increase HDL-c and HDL 2 -c of rats fed on normal diet. ZS at same dosage could reduce TG, and increase HDL2-c of rats fed on rich-fat diet. It was demonstrated by this study that ZS could be of great advantage to protection from as in rats.

Children who recovered from hematological malignancies have different degrees of secondary immunodeficiency.They are prone to acquire various infectious diseases, thus affecting their health and even endangering their life and may become the source of infection that affects the health of the surrounding people and residents of co-mmunities.Preventive vaccination is the easiest and most effective measure to prevent infectious diseases.However, in addition to the limited qualification of vaccination, due to the lack of the understanding to the safety, effectiveness and contraindications in the vaccination for this type of patients, there still exists blankness in the preventive vaccination work for this group in China.This paper summarizes some consensus on the vaccination for discharged patients of hematological malignancies in light of providing reference for the implementation of this clinical work in China.

20 mg/L again.Children without treatment regulared exam for phe concentration level in blood and test for physical and mental capability development.Results Forty-eight children with PKU were diagnosed in 355 615 newborns who were collected from June 1999 to April 2005.The incidence rate of PKU was 1/7408,carriers with PKU gene was 1/48.There was no significant difference in physical and mental condition compared with that of normal children.Conclusions The treatment results for children with PKU is significant.It has good social and economic value.It is one of the important measures for reducing infant defect and improving population quality.

Objective To study whether the mechanism of mifepristone in treating adenomyosis is suppressing matrix metalloproteinase-9 and tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinase-1(MMP-9/TIMP-1). Methods Thirty-five patients in the mifepristone treated group(19 cases of adenomyosis) and the control group(16 cases of adenomyosis,non-drug treated) underwent hysterectomy.Endometrium was looked as eutopic endometrium and adenomyosis as ectopic endometrium.Expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in eutopic and ectopic endometrium were measured by immunohistochemical techniques. Results The ectopic endometrium of the mifepristone treated group expressed lower level of MMP-9,higher level of TIMP-1 and lower ratio of MMP-9/TIMP-1 than the ectopic endometrium of the control group(P
