Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2011;32(10):946-948
Objective To apply laparoscopy-assisted small incision surgery in complicated urological operation, and to summarize our experience. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 9 patients with renal tumors (3 with solitary kidney tumors, 2 with unilateral multiple tumors, 1 with bilateral tumors, and 3 with contralateral renal insufficiency), 3 patients with renal pelvic ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJO) and multiple stones, and 1 patient with distal ureteral tumor. All patients underwent laparoscopy-assisted small incision surgery in our department from Aug. 2007 to Jun. 2011. The key steps of the surgery were discussed and the clinical experience was summarized. Results (1) For 9 patients with renal tumors, the incision was 4-6 cm in length, the cold ischemia timewas (15 ±4) min, and the operation time ranged from 90 to 180 min. Drainage tubes were removed within 48 h after operation. No patient had bleeding, urinary fistula or other serious complications. (2) For the 3 patients with UPJO, the incision was 4-5 cm in length and the operation time was 110 to 190 min. Drainage tubes were removed within 3-5 d after operation. No patient had bleeding, urinary fistula or other serious complications. No patient had fever or back pain after removal of double-J stents. Intravenous pyelography showed no hydronephrosis and the renal structure was normal. (3) For the patient with ureteral tumor, the drainage tube was removed 3 d after operation and there was no complication. No patients in the present study used analgesic pump or analgesic medications after surgery. Conclusion Laparoscopy-assisted small incision surgery can reduce the length of incision, minimize injury, and protect renal function. Besides, the method is safe and capable of handling complicated situations, especially suitable for patients who are difficult to receive total laparoscopic surgery.

Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2019;54(24):2082-2086
OBJECTIVE: To establish the national reference standards of sulfadimidine impurities thus to provide guarantee for improving the standard of quality control of sulfadiazine in China. METHODS: First, the structures of sulfadimidine impurities A and E were validated by infrared spectrocopy, mass spectrum and nuclear magnetic resonance method. Then, the purities of impurities A and E were determined using the method of related substance test for sulphadiazine in the European Pharmacopoeia (version 9.0),their water content and residue on ignition were determined as well. The contents of sulfadimidine impurities A and E were determined by using mass balance method. Meanwhile, external standard method and nuclear magnetic quantitative method were used to calculate the content, which were mutually verified with the mass balance method. Finally, the correction factors of sulfadiazine impurities A and E at 241 nm were determined using standard curve method. RESULTS: The structures of sulfadimidine impurities A and E were confirmed, and the contents of impurities A and E were 99.1% and 98.7%, respectively, which were calculated by mass balance method. The results were consistent with those obtained from external standard method and nuclear magnetic quantification method. The correction factors of impurities A and E to sulfadimidine were 0.97 and 0.63, respectively. CONCLUSION: The first batch of national standard substances of sulfadimidine impurities A and E were established successfully.

The respondents included 532 men (45.63%) and 634 women (54.37%), with a mean age of (57.05±15.04) years. The awareness of electronic cigarette knowledge was 67.58%, and the prevalence of electronic cigarette uses and current electronic cigarette uses was 3.94% and 0.34%, respectively. Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed a higher possibility of electronic cigarette uses among men (OR=28.492, 95%CI: 6.873-118.106), residents at ages of 15 to 44 years (OR=3.219, 95%CI: 1.584-6.539), enterprise workers/businessmen/service industry workers (OR=3.599, 95%CI: 1.527-8.482), and public institution workers/public servants/students (OR=4.403, 95%CI: 1.758-11.026). The main route of acquiring electronic cigarettes was presented by others (43.48%), and the main cause of electronic cigarette use was quitting smoking (30.43%), followed by thinking little harmlessness of electronic cigarette use (26.09%), while the main route of exposure to electronic cigarette advertising was television (59.09%), followed by internet (45.45%).
Conclusions
There is a low prevalence rate of electronic cigarette uses among residents at ages of 15 years and older in Tongzhou District, and men and residents at ages of 15 to 44 years are main electronic cigarette users. Health education pertaining to the harmlessness of electronic cigarette uses and supervision of electronic cigarette advertising are required to be reinforced.
7.Analyses of the Mycorrhizal Research State and Development in China Based on SCI Database
Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
Papers on mycorrhizas were searched from SCI (Science Citation Index) database. In order to understand the research progress of mycorrhizas in China, the paper on mycorrhizas from 1989 to 2007 was analyzed with method of bibliometrics. Mycorrhizal researches showed an increasing tendency during 1989 to 2007, while the increase was obviously accelerated after 2000. Only 5.22% of the articles were published in journals with impact factor above 5, indicates that the academic levels of researches need being enhanced. Currently the research on mycorrhizas was mainly focused on Arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM), especially on effects of mycorrhizal fungi on plant physiology, effects of mycorrhizal fungi on resistance of host plants, Mycorrhizal diversity community and ecological distribution, and phytoremediation with Mycorrhizal plants. The future research should emphasize in phytoremediation with Mycorrhizal plants and identification of fungal species with molecular biological technology.
