Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of integrated therapy of Chinese and western medicine for type 2 diabetes. Methods Totally 69 cases of type 2 diabetes with qi-yin deficiency pattern were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Western medicine treatment was given to control group,while Chinese medicine treatment was added in treatment group. Blood sugar,blood lipid,glycosylated hemoglobin A1c (GHbA1c),Chinese medical pattern and therapeutic effect were observed.Re- suits Fasting plasma glucose,postprandial 2 hours plasma glucose and GHbA1c decreased significantly in both groups(P

Objective To investigate the status of urogenital Ureaplasma urealyticum (Uu) infection and their drug tolerance in our area,so as to guide rational administration for the clinic.Methods Mycoplasma culture and drug susceptibility test were performed for 771 patients with urogenital infaction. The culture,identification and drug resistance of mycoplasma were carried out with one complex mycoplasma kit.Results The positive rate of Uu was 49.9%. The proportional percentage of males was 12.5% and the Uu positive rate was 22.3%,for females,the proportional percentage and Uu positive rate was 87.5% and 60.6% respectively. The population aged 21-40 was susceptible to Uu infection. The most sensitive antibioties to Uu was clindamycin (95.12%),followed by doxycycline (87.57%) and roxithromycin (86.24%).Conclusion The difference of Uu drug sensitivty was significant in different areas. So it is necessary to select antibioties by drug sensitivity. Clindamycin,doxycycline and roxithromycin may are used as preferred antibioties in treating Uu infection in our area. The drug-resistance status of spectinomycin and lincomycin was serious.

Signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)is an important member of STATs family and is highly expressed in many kinds of cancer.It regulates the tumor growth by influencing the apoptosis of tumor cells and tumor angiogenesis and becomes a new target for tumor therapy.This article reviews the structure of STAT3,the stimulating factors of STAT3,the tumor growth regulating pathway of STAT3,and its potential as a target for tumor therapy.

Objective To probe an accurate,rapid and effective method for the calculation and measurement of output dose of the accelerator with IAEA regulation.Methods The parameter value of measurement was determined according to IAEA regulations,and absorbed dose calculation forma was briefed to the form that the reading of instrument multiplies cumulative correction factor.The output dose was measured in water phantom on sandard condition,and then regrafted into plexiglass phantom,which made the measurement more convenience.Results Staistics of measurement had been done to PRIMUS accelerator in 66 weeks output dose.Over 85% of the measurement had the error less then 1%,and others were less then 2%.Conclusion This measurement can be used for the measuremen of output dose in precise radiotherapy of linear accelerator.

AlM:To observe the clinical effect of slack skin excision combined with orbicularis oculi muscle shortening and orbicularis muscle shortening in the treatment of elderly patients with lower eyelid entropion, and provide the reference for the clinical treatment.METHODS: Eighty-two ( 126 eyes ) clinical diagnosis’s elderly patients with lower eyelid entropion were collected from our department, then randomly divided into excised relaxing skin and orbicularis oculi muscle shortening treatment group and the orbicularis muscle shortening treatment group. The general data of the two groups, long term curative effect and short-term curative effect were compared.RESULTS:The age, sex, proportion of patients with the first time operation, course of disease were no statistical significance between the observation group and the control group (P>0. 05). The short-term effective rate of the observation group was 95. 2%, while the short-term effective rate of the control group was 77. 8%, the short-term efficiency differences between the two groups was statistical significance (χ2=4. 100, P=0. 043). The long-term cure rate of the observation group was 82. 5% ( 34 cases, 52 eyes), recurrence rate was 17. 5% (7 cases, 11 eyes), while the cure rate of the control group was 60. 3%(25 cases, 38 eyes), recurrence rate was 39. 7% (16 cases, 25 eyes) , the difference of long term cure rate was statistical significance between the two groups (P<0. 05).CONCLUSlON: The clinical curative effect of slack skin excision combined with orbicularis oculi muscle shortening in the treatment of senile inferior entropion is better than orbicularis muscle shortening operation, recommending application in the clinical.

Objective Intranasal drops of dexmedetomidine can induce conscious sedation in children .This study was to com-pare the sedative effects of different doses of intranasal dexmedetomidine in different age groups of children patients . Methods We e-qually randomized 90 hernia children waiting for elective unilateral inguinal surgery ( ASAⅠ-Ⅱ) to groupsⅠ,ⅡandⅢ.At 35 minutes be-fore surgery, we obtained the heart rate (HR), mean artery pressure (MAP) of all the patients.The children in groupsⅠandⅡreceived nasal instillation of dexmedetomidine at 1 and 2μg/kg respectively, while those in groupⅢ0.4 mL of normal saline, followed by sevoflu-rane induction, intravenous injection of sufentanil (0.2μg/kg), and laryngeal mask airway anesthesia with sevoflurane .We recorded HR, MAP before medication, at 10 min, 20 min and 30 min before mediation, right after surgery, and at the recovery to consciousness . We also recorded the sedation onset time and post-surgery recovery time and assessed sedation satisfaction using the Ramsay score . Results The rates of satisfactory preoperative sedation were 50 and 63% in groupsⅠandⅡ, significantly higher than 10%in groupⅢ(P<0.05). In the 1-4-year group, the sedation satisfaction rate , sedation onset
time and post-surgery recovery time showed no significant differences between groupsⅠandⅡ(P>0.05).In the 5-8-year group, seda-tion satisfaction rate was markedly higher in groupⅡthan in groupsⅢ(77%vs 22%, P<0.05) andⅠ(77%vs 45%) . Conclusion At 1 and 2μg/kg, intranasal drops of dexmedetomidine produces similar rates of satisfactory sedation in children aged 1-4 years, and at 2μg/kg can achieve an even higher rate of satisfactory sedation without adverse hemodynamic effects in those aged 5-8 years.
