1.Alteration of fatty acid components and insulin resistance of red cell membrane in diabetic patients with coronary heart disease
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2001;21(2):166-168
The fatty acid components and microviscosity of erythrocyte membrane in 39 type 2 diabetic patients with and without coronary heart disease(CHD) were examined by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and fluorescence polarization teachnique, and their relationship with insulin sensitivity index (ISI) and CHD were analyzed. The results showed that contents and composition of erythrocyte membrane arachidonic acid (AA,C20:4)were significantly lower in type 2 diabetic patients with or without CHD than those in control subjects (P<0.01 and P<0.05).The total fatty acids contents were also significantly lower in patients with CHD than those in normal subjects (P<0.05).In patients with or without CHD,erythrocyte membrane microviscosity was significantly increased as compared with the controls (P<0.01 and P<0.05),and it was higher in diabetics with CHD than those without CHD (P<0.05).AA contents of erythrocyte membrane was negatively correlated with microviscosity and positively correlated with insulin sensitivity index (ISI),while the microviscosities were negatively correlated with ISI in diabetics.AA,linoleic acid contents, microviscosity of erythrocyte membrane and ISI were all correlated with the incidence of CHD in diabetics. In diabetic patients, the fatty acid metabolic abnormality could cause the alterations of functions, structures and fluidity of erythrocyte membrane, thus may contributing to increased IRS and might be related to the incidence of CHD.
2.Research and Insight of Standardized Training of Emergency Residents
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(03):-
Personnel resource is very important for the development of emergency department and emergency medicine. In recent years a series of researches for the standardized training of emergency residents have been progressed in the Emergency Depart- ment of West China Hospital. It goes through three phases. The idea of the training changes from“general physician”to“emer- gency specialist”.And the training is designed, practised and assessed with standardization.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(16):-
Objective To approach therapy of acute lymphoblastic leukemia(ALL) complicating acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) in children. Methods The therapy of seven children diagnosed as ALL complicating ARDS was analyzed, who were treated by anti-infection, methyllprednisolone, ambroxol and constant positive airway pressure (CPAP) assisted ventilation. Results Six cases were recovery and one was death. The cure rate was 85.7%. Conclusion The cure rate is high, when employing combined therapy to treat ALL complicating ARDS.

ObjectiveTo explore the influence of 3C bolus wizard on postprandial glucose levels in diabetic patients. MethodFifty-eight patients with type 2 diabetes in our hospital were monitored with continuous glucose monitoring system(CGMS), continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion(CSII)and CareLink(3C for short)for 6 days. The function of “3C” bolus wizard was applied during treatment and all the patients were given dietary nursing and health education. The glucose level was observed.ResultThe level of P2hBG of the 58 patients was between 6.4~10.7mmol/L in 3~6 days.ConclusionsBolus wizard plays an important role in “3C” treatment. It can make the postprandial glucose of patients satisfactorily controlled in a short time only to avoid insulin hypoglycemia because of large doses of insulin. At the same time, health education on patients can achieve remarkable results as well.

Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry 2010;38(3):347-351
Fibers with different hemicellulose contents were produced using various degree removal of hemicellulose to obtain large differences in cellulose and hemicellulose proportions at a similar lignin content. Solid state cross polarisation magic angle spinning carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance(CP/MAS ~(13)C-NMR) and atomic force microscope(AFM) had been employed to investigate the microstructure of fibers. The results showed that there was an increase in relative content of para-crystalline cellulose with the decreas of hemicellulose content obtained by the spectral fitting for the cellulose C1-region(δ 102-108). The elementary fibril size was relatively constant between 4.0 and 4.3 nm for the three samples obtained by the spectral fitting for the cellulose C4-region(δ 80-92). The difference in elementary fibril size between the samples was not significant. However, the elementary fibril aggregate size increased from 17.9 to 22.2 nm with the decreas of hemicellulose content, which was a significant change. The results of AFM analysis showed that the fiber with a high hemicellulose content had a porous surface structure. In fibres with a low hemicellulose content, the elementary fibril aggregates formed a much more compact surface structure. Lower hemicellulose content can promote the partially irreversible microfibril aggregation, which caused tensions in the microfibrils due to the finite dimensions of the cell wall, amounting to stress in the microfibrils. However, the porous structure can be improved as hemicellulose content decreased to a certain extent.

Objective To characterize the nasal resonance of children with spastic cerebral palsy by comparing it with that of ordinary school-age children. Methods The mean nasalance scores (MNSs) of 90 normal school-age children and 62 school-age children with spastic cerebral palsy were measured and compared. Results (1) Age has significant effects on the MNS of/a/,/i/and/m/ in ordinary children, but has almost no effect on the MNS of/u/.The MNS of/a/,/i/,/u/ and/m/ in children with spastic cerebral palsy does not change with age.(2) Sex only has a significant relationship with the MNS of/i/ in ordinary children, but does not significantly predict the other MNSs.(3) The MNS of/a/ of children with spastic cerebral palsy is significantly lower than that of ordinary children, and their MNS of/i/ and /u/ is significantly greater than those of ordinary children. Conclusions The MNS of /a/,/i/and /u/first increases and then decreases with age in ordinary children, while the MNS of/m/ increases gradually.Children with spastic cerebral palsy did not show the same trends and demonstrated a state of retardation of nasal resonance.Children with spastic cerebral palsy are more likely to display hypernasality than ordinary children.

Journal of China Medical University 2001;30(1):18-19
Objective: Our aim was to investigate whether the immune RNA (iRNA) can inhibit the endotoxin-induced uveitis (EIU). Methods: The EIU was induced by injecting endotoxin of E.Coli into rats hypodermically. iRNA was abstracted from the livers and spleens of the rabbits which had been injected by E.Coli six times. The iRNA was introduced intraperitoneally into the rats both at half an hour and 3 hours after the injection of endotoxin. The effect of iRNA was evaluated by protein determination and cell count in aqueous houmer(AH). Results: The appearance of EIU in the iRNA treated rats was delayed, about 3 hours later than the rats received only endotoxin injection. The AH protein decreased by 58.34% and cellular infiltration decreased by 27.62% in iRNA treated group at the 24 hours. Conclusion: The iRNA may partly prevent the development of EIU and significantly reduce the severity of EIU.

1.0 mmol/L).The clinical side effects after medication circa were compared between two groups. Results There was no significant difference in myelosuppression, liver functional lesion, gastrointestinal tract reaction and infection in 2 groups. But following the increase of MTX blood drug level, the incidence rate of skin mucosa contamination, electrocardiographic abnormality, the cardiac creatase abnormity and nervous system symptoms significantly increased. Conclusions In the course of child ALL treatment with HD-MTX+CF,the side effects are common and individual difference is obvious.Specific treatment on individuals is suggested.J Appl Clin Pediatr,2006,21(3):170-171
