Objective] To summarize teacher Qin’s clinical experience in treating premature ovarian failure by mainly reinforcing kidney. [Method] Collect the clinical cases, and analyze the etiology and pathogenesis, syndrome differentiation and treatment of premature ovarian failure for teacher Qin ’s. [Result] Teacher Qin thought that this disease was mainly due to kidney deficiency, especially kidney-yin deficiency, and accompanied by liver depression. This disease can be divided into kidney-yin deficiency, kidney-yang deficiency, deficiency of kidney-yin and yang, deficiency of kidney and liver depression. Reinforcing kidney-yin for kidney-yin deficiency; reinforcing kidney-yang for kidney-yang deficiency; reinforcing kidney-yin and yang for deficiency of kidney-yin and yang; tonifying the kidney essence and soothing liver-qi stagnation for deficiency of kidney and liver depression. [Conclusion] Treatment of premature ovarian failure is based on tonifying kidney, supplement on soothing liver, while some change therapies, should combine disease with syndrome.

Epithelial ovarian cancer is the most lethal gynecologic malignancy, drug?resistance will eventually appear after re?peated intermittent chemotherapy. However, second?line chemotherapy only works on a few patients, new drugs with better efficacy and less side effects are needed. There are a number of promising results of molecular targeted therapy in recent clinical trials for patients with recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer, such as Bevacizumab, Olaparib, Pazopanib, etc. They have been demonstrated to improve progression?free survival of patients with platinum?resistant ovarian cancer, which might become a new strategy for such patients. In this review, we summarized the current status and progress of targeted therapy for recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer.

Objective To elucidate the etiology feature of viral infection in hospitalized children with acute lower respiratory infection. Methods A total of 5 480 children with acute lower respiratory tract infection, hospitalized from September 2007 to September 2009, were studied. Nasopharyngeal aspirates were screened for 8 types of viruses by direct immunofluorescence (DIF) assay. Results At least one type of viral pathogen was detected in 2 710 out of 5 480 patients and the overall positive rate was 49.5%. The most common virus was RSV (51.1%), followed by hMPV (18.9%), PIVⅢ (12.5%), ADV (7.1%), IFA (4.7%), IFB (2.9%), PIV Ⅰ (1.5%) and PIV Ⅱ (1.2%). The positive rate was highest in children under 6 months (43.5%). The seasonal change of RSV, hMPV was more obvious. The peak of RSV, hMPV appeared in the winter and the spring. The prevalence of viral infection in children with pneumonia, bronchitis, asthmatic bronchitis, non asthmatic bronchitis and asthma were 47.4%、63.6%、 50.5%、 30.1% and 43.5% respectively. Conclusions Viruses are the main cause of lower respiratory tract infections in children, especially in infants and young children. RSV and hMPV were the most common viruses in these years.

Objective To study the effect of assessment criteria for thoracic surgery health education in the health education to patients undergoing thoracic surgeries. Methods One hundred and forty patients undergoing selective surgeries were evenly divided by their registration sequence into the control and experiment groups:The former received routine health education and the latter the health education based on thoracic surgery health education criteria. The effects of the health education were assessed by self-designed recognition evaluation criteria for thoracic surgery health education. Results The experiment group was significantly better than the control in terms of health-related knowledge, health belief and health behaviors, except operative approach, anesthesia method and intraoperative medication(all P<0.05).Conclusions The assessment criteria for thoracic surgery health education are helpful for the nurses to perform health education purposefully and pertinently. The criteria are also applicable clinically for the nursing administers to carry out health education assessment.

Objective To examine the changes of Aβ expression and its related metabolic enzymes in the brains of AD and T2DM mice, so as to explore the possible mechanism of type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with AD.Methods Five-month-old APP/PS1 double transgenic mice, ob/ob mice and the wild-type control mice were employed in this study.Immunohistochemical (IHC) staining, Elisa and Western blot were used to detect SP, Aβ and its related metabolic enzymes. Results A certain number of SPs were observed in the cerebral cortex and hip-pocampus of APP/PS1 mice;SPs were occasionally observed in the cortex of ob/ob mice, while no SP appeared in wild-type mice.Aβ40 and Aβ42 levels were significantly increased in APP/PS1 and ob/ob mice brains as compared with controls (P<0.05), thought both Aβ40 and Aβ42 levels in AD mice were significantly higher than those of ob/ob mice (P<0.05).APP expression level was highest in APP/PS1 mice among 3 groups, and its expressed higher in ob/ob mice than that of control mice (P<0.05).BACE1 expression was notably increased in APP/PS1 and ob/ob mice as compared with control(P<0.05), however, it expressed higher in APP/PS1 mice than ob/ob mice (P<0.05).The expression of Aβ degradation enzyme IDE was reduced in APP/PS1 and ob/ob mice(P<0.05), while lowest in ob/ob mice. Conclusions Overexpression of Aβ may be one of main reasons for T2DM combined AD.

Chinese Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2015;(4):189-191
Objective To assess the feasibility and safety of transradial puncture route for digital subtraction angiography (DSA)in young patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease. Methods One hundred young patients with cerebrovascular disease who underwent whole brain angiography at the Department of Neurology, the 81 st Hospital of PLA were enrolled. They were divided into either a radial group (n =50)or a femoral group (n = 50)using a computer random number method. The time of puncture, success rate of puncture, success rate of selective angiography, exposure time, and incidence of complications were compared and analyzed. Results (1)The puncture time of the radial group was significantly longer than that of the femoral group, they were 3. 00 ± 0. 50 min and 1. 50 ± 0. 25 min respectively. There was significant difference (t = 18. 97,P < 0. 05). There were no significant differences in the success rate of puncture (98% vs. 100%),success rate of selective angiography (100% vs. 100%),and exposure time (5. 3 ± 2. 2 vs. 4. 8 ± 1. 7 min)between the two groups (all P > 0. 05). (2)The incidence of complications of the radial group (4%,n = 2)was significantly 1ower than that of the femoral group (18%,n = 9 ). There was significant difference between the two groups (χ2 = 5. 01,P < 0. 05 ). Conclusion Transradial route puncture for whole brain DSA in young patients with cerebrovascular disease is safely and feasible.

Objective To analyse clinical features of dead children in pediatric intensive care unit(PICU) of Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from 2005 to 2014.Methods Clinical data of 917 dead cases in PICU from January 2005 to December 2014 in this hospital were collected, then distribution characteristics of age, length of hospital stay, time of dead and transfer department were analysed. The death cause analysis was conducted as well. Results According to systematic classification of disease, the top 10 leading causes of death for 917 dead cases in PICU from 2005 to 2014 in this hospital were congenital deformity, infectious disease, respiratory disease, injury and poisoning, digestive system disease, tumor, symptoms, signs and abnormal clinical and laboratory findings not elsewhere classified, circulation system disease, nervous system disease, blood system disease.Compared with 2005-2014,the ratio of dead cases due to infectious diseases to the total cases was declined, while that due to non-infectious diseases was increased, there was statistically significant difference (x2 =26.29,P =0.00).Whereas,the ranks of septicopyemia and hand-foot-mouth disease in the rank order of death causes both were increased.Condusion Congenital deformity is the first cause of death in PICU of this hospital. The key to cutting children's mortality is to reduce newborn with congenital deformity.
