Objective To investigate the application of ultrasound visualization in instantly evaluation and supplement therapeu-tics in the treatment of uterine fibroids and adenomyosis with high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU ) .Methods 57 patients with 67 uterine fibroids and 31 patients with 41 adenomyosis were treated with JC-200 HIFU treatment system and monitored the blood flow change in the lesion with B-ultrasound .Evaluated the curative effect with ablation ratio and ablation ratio after supplement therapeutics .Results The average ablation ratio of 57 uterine fibroids was(84 .6 ± 16 .1)% and the increased to(87 .0 ± 10 .7)% af-ter supplement therapeutics to 9 lesions with blood flow in the border of all .The changes were no significance(P>0 .05) .The aver-age ablation ratio of 31 adenomyosis was(62 ± 22 .7)% and increased to(74 ± 14 .7)% after supplement therapeutics to 11 lesions with blood flow in the border of all .The changes were statically significance(P<0 .05) .Conclusion Ultrasound visualization could be used to evaluate the area and extent of ablation with HIFU therapy ,it can clear lesions remaining parts and guiding the supple-ment therapeutics to improve the ablation ratio .Ultrasound visualization provided an evidence of therapeutics in the early period .

In cardiac myocytes, Ca2+ sparks origining from a single RyR or a few RyRs are triggered by a single L-type Ca2+ channel or occur spontaneously. Ca2+ sparks constitute the elementary local Ca 2+ release events from the SR. Ca2+ sparks occur at Z-lines and randomly distribute at different locations, the characteristics of the kinetics are regulated by many factors. In addition, ICa.T, Na+/Ca2+ exchange, ICa (TTX) and IP3 are other putative sources of Ca2+ that trigger SR Ca2+ release.

Three primer were designed based on the consevered area of the genetic of the ATCC VR-2332 strain and LV strain. And the nest RT-PCR of testing porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus were developed. The nest RT-PCR against ATCC VR-2332 strain, LV strain and B13 strain were done by this method.The DNA fragment were obtained specially from the three strains isolated from different region. The size were 430bp (430bp) , 410bp (413bp) and 410 bp (413bp) separately. But the DNA fragment were not obtained from HCV, PPV and PRV. Its sensitivity was 10-2 TCID50. It's sensitivity increased 10000 times than one step RT-PCR. It should make the method of testing porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus more sensitive, fast and accurate.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of out-patient training combined with family training under doctor's instructions on children with cerebral palsy (CP).Methods80 CP children were selected as treatment group and trained one to three months by therapists at out-patient department, then continually trained at family by parents who received doctor's instructions 30 min once every two or three months. 60 CP children in hospital were selected as control group. Rehabilitative effects of two groups were compared.ResultsIn the first and third month after training completed, movement growth of treatment group was not different from that of control group (P>0.05), but in the sixth month, was significant different from that of control group (P<0.05). The effect of treatment group was better than that of control group.ConclusionOut-patient training combined with family training under doctor's instructions can decrease treatment expenses, and is convenient and effective for CP children.

Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy of Chinese and western integrative medicine (TCM-WM) in treating repeatedly recurrent chronic pyelonephritis (CPN) and its therapeutic mechanism. Methods: Ninety-one repeatedly recurrent CPN patients were randomly divided into 2 groups, the control group (45 cases) treated with sufficient amount of sensitive antibiotics and other WM, the treated group (46 cases) treated with above-mentioned WM complemented with TCM syndrome differentiation (SD). Results: In the treated group completely cured was 14 cases (30.4%), markedly effective 14 cases (30.4%), the total effective rate was 91.3%; while that of the control group was 4 (8.9%), 5 (11.1%), and 48.9% respectively, (P<0.05) and (P<0.01); the mean days of urinary bacteria and urinary routine negative conversion were in the treated group 19.6±12.6 days and 24.3±11.5 days, obviously shorter than those of the control group (35.6±14.6 days and 53.6±16.4 days), P<0.01; the various symptoms of the treated group improved or disappeared in a short time, while in the control group a few patients improved in a longer period (P<0.01); the various immune parameters improved in the treated group, while in the control group only IgA was elevated to some extent (P<0.05), in comparing these data, the difference was significant (P<0.01). Conclusion: The TCM-WM integrative treatment could obviously raise the clinical efficacy, accelerate the symptom improvement, and enhance the immune function.

Background Ultraviolet radiation is one of factors of the formation of age-related cataract.Indole-3-carbinol(I3C) is a plant chemical material with inhibitory effect on oxidative-induced cell damage and formation of amyloid fibrils,and the oxidative damage and amyloid fibrils are associated with cataract.However,the relationship between I3C and α-crystallin is in study. Objective This study was to evaluate the effects of ultraviolet-B laser irradiation on the secondary structure of α-crystallin and to explore the protection of I3C to chaperone activity of α-crystallin. Methods The fresh eyeballs were obtained from 1-year-old cattle to prepare the purified lens α-crystallin by gel chromatography.α-Crystallin was isolated from cattle lenses using gel chromatography.The purified α-crystallin was collected using fast protein liquid chromatography ( FPLC ) and exposed to 1:308 nmultraviolet-B at different irradiation intensities ( 23.75,118.75,475.00,1187.50,2375.00,4750.00,11 875.00,23 750.00 mJ/cm2 ) and then to ultraviolet-B 2:308 nm with irradiation intensities of 28 535.00,6730.00,3435.00,1910.00,1040.00 mJ/cm2.Ultraviolet-absorbance spectra,tryptophan fluorescence and N-formylkynurenine (N-FK)fluorescence spectra of both irradiated and non-irradiated α-crystallin were measured.I3C at the concentrations of 50 μmol/L and 100 μmoL/L were added to the α-crystallin solution to perform a catalase (CAT) thermal aggregation to confirm the chaperone activity of the α-crystallin,and the α-crystallin solution without any I3C was used as control.The ratios of A360 between various intervene groups with control group were calculated using spectrophotometry.Results The A280 values of the α-crystallin declined to 10％ at the ultraviolet-B irradiation intensity of 1187.5 mJ/cm2 and that at the intensity of 23.75 J/cm2 lowed to 2％.A negative correlation was seen between the ultraviolet-B irradiation intensity and the A280 value of the α-crystallin (R2=0.925 ) and a positive correlation was found between ultraviolet-B with N-FK ( R2 =0.949 ).Ultraviolet-B irradiation intensity showed a negative correlation with Trp fluorescence intensity (R2 =0.996 ).CAT hot condensed experiment revealed that after addition of different concentrations of indole-3-carbinol,the relative A360 values at various ultraviolet-B irradiation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P =0.000),and the decreasing degree of chaperone activity of α-crystallin was lower than that of the control group ( P =0.000 ). Conclusions The study suggests that I3C can protect the chaperone activity of α-crystallin from photooxidation,and the ultraviolet-B laser may be a good exposure source compared with ultraviolet lamp.The ultraviolet-B laser irradiation causes the alteration of structure and chaperone activity of α-crystallin.
