Journal of International Oncology 2008;35(3):236-238
Objective To explore the prognostic factors of advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Methods 139 cases of advanced non-small cell lung cancer were analyzed in sex, age, clinical stage, pathology and therapylAll the cases were cytopathologically or histopathologically proved.Product limit method was used to calculate the survival rate, its significance was tested by Log-rank test, factors related to the prognosis were analyzed by the method of Cox regression analysis. Results The overall median survival time was 8 months,6-month survival rate was 59.9%,12-month survival rate was 35.8%,24-month survival rate was 14.3%.The 24-month survival rate was 46.4%in treatment with operatiom plus chemotherapy,32.2% in chemotherapy plus radiotherapy,9.5%in treatment with chemotherapy alone,3.0%in treatment with best supportive care(P<0.05).Conclusion Different treatments are important factors affecting prognosis of advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
2.Evaluation of serum CA125 in literatures of ovarian neoplasms based on evidence-based medicine
Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2001;0(02):-
Objective To assess the serum CA125 in literatures of ovarian neoplasms based on evidence-based medicine. Methods The relating reports published in the years of 1996—2003 were collected and evaluated according to the evidence-based medicine principles. Main outcomes include design methods, sample screening, establishment of control group, blind method, criteria of diagnostic trials. Results In the reports collected, gold standard was adopted in 62 reports and independent blind method was adopted in 23 reports, criteria of diagnostic trials such as sensitivity, specificity and likelihood ratio were incomplete and there was no descriptions okf potential bias controlling. As for the literatures sharing the same method ,their conclusion did not totally accord with each other. Conclusion There is no evidence to implicate that serum CA125 was considered an independent predictor of the diagnosis of ovarian cancer.

A method to assess library-holding journals according to their weighted citations was proposed in light of the actual needs of users for core journals, the use of library-holding journals and references by authors in different orders of precedence. The Western journal of rheumatology, highly cited by authors of Second Military Medical U-niversity, were assessed using this method, showing that this method is better than the citation analysis-based tra-ditional method in assessment of journals.

OBJECTIVETo explore the effect of Qingfei Huoxue Recipe (QHR) combined azithromycin in treatment of intractable pediatric mycoplasma pneumonia.
METHODSTotally 124 intractable pediatric mycoplasma pneumonia patients at our hospital were recruited in this study, and randomly assigned to the treatment group and the control group, 62 in each group. Patients in the control group took azithromycin, while those in the treatment group additionally took QHR. All patients received omnibearing systematic nursing. Therapeutic efficacy, clinical indices (such as disappearance time of cough and rales, recovery time of body temperature) , and the incidence of adverse reactions were observed.
RESULTSAfter treatment the total effective rate was 91.94% (57/62 cases) in the treatment group and 77. 42% (48/62 cases) in the control group with statistical difference (P < 0.05). Compared with the control group, disappearance time of cough and rales, recovery time of body temperature were obviously shortened in the treatment group with statistical difference (P < 0.01). There was statistical difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups [3.23% (2/62 cases) vs 38.71% (24/62 cases) , P < 0.01].
CONCLUSIONIn clinical treatment for intractable pediatric mycoplasma pneumonia, Chinese medicine combined Western medicine plus scientific and systematic nursing showed more obvious advantages with significant efficacy, which was worth spreading.

Chinese Mental Health Journal 2017;31(4):333-336
Objectives:To understand the current situation of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and type D personality in female college students, and to explore the relationship between them. Methods:Totally 856 female college students were assessed with the Premenstrual Syndrome Scale (PMSS,those with total score of 6 or higher as having PMS) and Type D Personality Scale 14 (DS-14,those negative emotion and social inhibition factor with total score of 10 or higher as having type D personality).Result:A total of 280 students were detected with PMS,and the rote was 32.7%.Totally 272 students were detected with the type D personality, and the rote was 31.8%.The total score of DS-14 and the score of 2 factors were higher in PMS group than in non-PMS group (Ps <0.001).The rate of PMS was lower in type D personality group than in non-type D personality group (11.76% vs.25.34%,P < 0.001).Conclusions:The occurrence of premenstrual syndrome may be related to the type D personality. The evaluation of personality characteristics should be taken into consideration when formulating the intervention program.

Purpose To investigate the expression of Periostin and VEGF protein in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma tissue and their significance. Methods Immunohistochemical staining (SP method) was used to detect Periostin and VEGF expression in 130 cases of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and 130 cases of normal esophageal mucosa tissues. Results There was a significantly difference between esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and normal esophageal mucoma ( P<0. 05 ) . The expression of Periostin was related to the depth of invasion and the metastasis of lymph node (P<0. 05). A dramatic correlation has been found in the expression of VEGF to the degrees of differentiation, the depth of invasion and the metastasis of lymph node (P<0. 05). The expression of Peri-ostin was also positively correlated with the expression of VEGF (P<0. 05). Follow-up data was available in 66 cases with a range of 1 to 48 months. Kaplan-Meier survival curve showed survival rate of Periostin-positive group was significantly lower than that of Perios-tin-negative group (P<0. 05). The survival rate of VEGF-positive group was significantly lower than that of VEGF-negative group (P<0. 05). Conclusion The expression of Periostin has a close relationship with VEGF in the carcinogenesis, combined detection of both Periostin and VEGF can become an objective target to evaluate Potentials of invasion and lymph node metastasis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, which has a great significance to the judgment of prognosis in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.

Post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI) directly affects the outcome of patients with stroke. Enlarged perivascular spaces (EPVS) suggest the impairment of brain clearance mechanism and may affect cognitive function. More and more studies have confirmed that the presence of EPVS will aggravate PSCI. This article reviews the relationship between EPVS and PSCI.
