The structure, pharmaceutical functions and extraction and isolation methods of chlorgenic acid were reviewed to provide references for the research of chlorogenic acids and the production of the medicines chlorogenic acids.

Objective: To establish the determination of imperatorin and isoimperatorin in Tongketing Capsule (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae, Pheretima, etc.) by HPLC. Methods: The determination was carried out by HPLC. The mobile phase was acetonitrile water (60∶40) and UV detection wavelength was set at 245nm . The flow rate was 1.0mL?min -1 . The column temperature was 40℃ . Results: There were the good linear relationship between the absorption area value and the concentration in the range of 65?g～325?g for imperatorin and in the range of 50?g～250?g for isoimperatorin, respectively. The average recoveries were 98.3% ( RSD = 1.73% ) and 98.7% ( RSD = 1.65% ), respectively. Conclusion: The method is simple, accurate and can be used to determine imperatorin and isoimperatorin in Tongketing Capsule.

Objective To explore correlation between gene polymorphism of TNF-alpha and thyroid associated ophtalmopa thy (TAO) in Zhuang ethnic population.Methods DNA and serum samples were collected in patients with TAO in Han/Zhuang population.ELISA was applied to detect level of TNF-alpha in serum and PCR was applied to detect polymorphism of TNF-alpha gene 863C_A.Results The levels of TNF-alpha in patients with TAO increased significantly compared with control group (P ＜ 0.05),and more significantly in Zhuang population compared with Han population (P ＜ 0.05) ;gene frequency of CA was significantly higher in patients with TAO in Zhuang population than that in Han population (P ＜ 0.05),while gene frequency of AA was significantly lower (x2 =0.770,2.145,all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Serum level of TNF-alpha increases during occurrence of TAO,and the differences of expression level between different nationalities are due to gene polymorphism of TNF-alpha.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the status quo and problems of the construction of pharmacy staff team from Hubei Wuling mountainous area,and to provide reference for the formulation of construction plan of pharmacy staff team. METHODS:Using questionnaire survey and telephone interviews,the pharmacy staff of 22 hospitals at second level or above from Hubei Wul-ing mountainous area during 2011-2014 were investigated in terms of number,age,educational background,professional title,etc. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:The shortage of pharmacy staff is seious in 22 hospitals at second level or above from this areas (open 10 606 beds,should be staffed 956 pharmacy personnel,actual number of pharmacy personnel is 502);the age structure is unreasonable,and only 220 pharmacy staff aged under 35 year-old;highly educated pharmacy staff accounted for low proportion, and bachelor degree or above took up 29.5%;pharmacy staff with professional title took up low proportion,and pharmacy staff with high,middle and junior professional titles accounted for 1:5:4. The situation of pharmacy staff in the region can be improved through following measures,including striving for policy recommendations,continuously enriching the quantity of pharmacy staff, integrating scientifically and building reasonable talent tem gradually,introducing talents,optimizing education structure of pharma-cy staff,strengthening the training,improving operation level of pharmacy staff,etc.

Enterovirus 71 (EV71) is one of the primary causative agents of hand, foot and mouth disease in children and closely associated with severe neurological complications and even deaths.EV71 outbreaks have occurred throughout the Asia-Pacific region since 1990s, posing global public health threat;however, no specific therapeutic strategy exists for severe EV71 infection.Several inactivated vaccine products have entered or finished the clinical trial stage, and some novel vaccine candidates, including live attenuated, subunit, and virus-like particle, show great potential for further develop-ment.This review summarizes the present situation and progress in the development of EV71 vaccines.

To evaluate the clinical curative effect of Compound Biejia Ruangan Tablets (CBRT) combined with Adefovir Dipivoxil in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B with liver fibrosis using Meta-analysis. Cochrane library, PubMed, CNKI, Wanfang databases, and VIP were retrieved comprehensively to collect randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of CBRT combined with Adefovir Dipivoxil in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B with hepatic fibrosis from their inception to October 2017. treatment group was treated with CBRT combined with Adefovir Dipivoxil, and the control group was treated with Adefovir Dipivoxil. All the data were analyzed using Revman 5.3. A total of 19 RCTs and 1 776 patients were included. Meta-analysis results showed that the serum indexes including HA, IV-C, LN, PCIII, ALT, AST, and TBIL of the treatment group, were significantly lower than those of control group. HA [SMD = -1.72, 95% CI (-2.26, -1.17), P = 0.000 01]; IV-C [SMD = -1.10, 95% CI (-1.66, -0.54), P = 0.000 10]; LN [SMD = -1.18, 95% CI (-1.64, -0.73), P = 0.000 01]; PCIII [SMD = -1.52, 95% CI (-1.97, -1.07), P = 0.000 01]; ALT [SMD =-0.48, 95% CI (-0.68, -0.28), P = 0.000 01]; AST [SMD = -1.19, 95% CI (-2.08, -0.29), P = 0.010 00]; TBIL [SMD = -0.98, 95%CI (-1.38, -0.58), P = 0.000 01]; There were no significant difference in serum HBV DNA, and HbeAg negative conversion rate treatment group compared with control group. HBV DNA [RR = 1.21, 95% CI (0.97, 1.50), P = 0.09]; HBeAg [RR = 1.05, 95% CI (0.82, 1.34), P = 0.70]; The total clinical effective treatment group was significantly better than control group. [RR = 1.25, 95% CI (1.15, 1.36), P = 0.000 01]. Compared with the single use of Adefovir Dipivoxil, the clinical curative effect of CBRT combined with Adefovir Dipivoxil in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B with liver fibrosis is better,which can significantly reduce the level of serum liver fiber markers and improve liver function in patients with biochemical indicators and the total clinical efficiency.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the regulating effects and its possible mechanism of safflower yellow (SY) on tau protein hyperphosphorylation in SH-SY 5Y cell induced by okadaic acid (OA). METHODS: Cell viability was measured by MTT colorimetric method. The cell apoptosis was determined with Hoechst 33342 after SH-SY 5Y cell were treated with SY. To determined the phos-phorylated tau protein of p-tau (T205), p-tau(S199) sites, and total GSK-3β, PP2A in SH-SY 5Y cell were determined using Western blotting. RESULTS: SY significantly increased survival rates of SH-SY5Y cell damaged by OA. Hoechst 33342 showed that SY decreased the apoptosis of SH-SY5Y cells. Western blotting analysis showed that tau protein content was increased compared to control group at p-tau (T205), p-tau (S199) sites. However, SY treatment significantly reduced tau protein content at p-tau (T205) and p-tau (S199) sites. PP2A content was significantly suppressed by OA, significantly increased by SY, GSK-3β content was significantly increased by OA and significantly decreased by SY. CONCLUSION: These results suggest that safflower yellow may have neuroprotective effect on OA-induced SH-SY 5Y cells injury, which may be associated with tau hyperphosphorylation at the enzyme level by activation of tau kinases or by a decline in the activities of tau phosphatases.

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of the ambulation training on the typical hemiplegic gait in community.Methods50 stroke patients with typical hemiplegic gait were divided into two groups: treatment group was treated with systematic rehabilitation training, 5 times each week for 3 months, and control group accepted self-walking training. The follow-up was performed every week at home. The two groups were assessed by the timed "up & go" test, the Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA) and Satisfaction with Life Scale(SWLS).ResultsThe scores of the timed "up & go" test, FMA, and SWLS showed that there weren't significant difference between the treatment group and the control group 1 month after treatment; but the scores in the treatment group were obviously higher than those in the control group 3 months after treatment.ConclusionAmbulation training could improve the typical hemiplegic gait and quality of walking of stroke patients with hemiplegic gait in community.

The case of a 49-years-old man complained of pharyngalgia for one year and shortness of breath after activities for one week. Endoscopic laryngeal examination and computed tomography revealed a supraglottic mass. Direct laryngoscopy was performed and biopsy of the mass was carried out. Results of the histopathologic examination and immunohistochemical analysis were consistent with atypical carcinoid tumor of the larynx.

Objective: To determine if the hemagglutinin A (HagA) of Porphyromonas gingivalis could be involved in the adhesion and invasion in human gingival epithelial cells (HGEC). Methods:P. gingivalis 381 hagA mutant was constructed by conjugation method. The whole length of hagA gene was cloned into pYA292 in Salmonella typhimurium x4072 (S. typhimurium-hagA). The strains were used to test their ability of adhesion and invasion into HGEC using a standard antibiotic protection assay. S. typhimurium x4072 strains containing empty vectors were used as negative control. HagA expression in S. typhimurium-hagA was confirmed by Western blot. Results:Although there were no significant differences between P. gingivalis 381 hagA mutant and wild type in adhesion and invasion into HGEC, the adhesion values of S. typhimurium-hagA to HGEC were increased by 3 times compared to their respective controls, while the invasion ability of S. typhimurium-hagA was 4 times greater than that of the negative controls. Conclusion: These results suggest that HagA may participate in P. gingivalis adhesion and invasion into HGEC.
