Objective To investigate the anti-migratory and anti-invasive effect of somatostatin receptor type 2(SSTR2) gene transfection mediated by adenovirus in human pancreatic carcinoma cell and the mechanisms involved in this effect.Methods The full length human SSTR2 cDNA was introduced into pancreatic cancer cell line BXPC-3 by adenovirus-mediated transfection,and stable expression of RNA and protein of SSTR2 were detected by RT-PCR and Westen-blot.The Matrigel coated Transwell was used to detect the migratory and invasive ability of SSTR2expressing cells,Adv-GFP control cells and mock control cells.Furthermore,the expressions of matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP-2) and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-2(TIMP-2) were detected by RT-PCR method in these cells.Results The stable expression of SSTR2 was detected in BXPC-3 cells transfected by Adv-GFP-SSTR2.A dramatic decrease of BXPC-3 expressing SSTR2 cell(migrated) through a Matrigel-coated filter was observed,as compared with Adv-GFP control cells and mock control cells(P

Objective To evaluate the effects of different doses of ephedrine combined with hydroxyethyl starch as a volume preload for preventing hypotension in caesarean section before combined spinal and epidural anesthesia.Methods 250 pregnant wemen undergoing cesarean section were randomly allocated into the control group (n =50) and the observation group(n =200)(group was divided into A,B,C,D group,each group 50 cases).Control group preloaded Lactated Ringer's solution 250ml before CSEA.A group preloaded hydroxyethyl starch combined with 5mg ephedrine; B group preloaded hydroxyethyl starch combined with 10mg ephedrine.C group preloaded hydroxyethyl starch combined with 15mg ephedrine; D group preloaded hydroxyethyl starch combined with 15mg ephedrine.The parturient SBP,HR and untoward reaction were monitored in five experimental groups.Results Compared with T0 A group parturient SBP was lower at T1,T2,T5 [(111.8 ± 17.18)mm Hg,(114.58 ± 19.80)mm Hg,(115.06 ± 10.39) mum Hg vs (120.88 ± 13.24) mm Hg,all P ＜ 0.05)].Compared with B,C,D group,statistical differences were found at T1,T4,T6[(111.8 ± 17.18)mm Hg vs (120.78 ± 14.47)mm Hg,(118.56 ± 14.25)mm Hg,(118.42 ± 18.71)mm Hg.(125.58 ± 14.45) mm Hg vs (120.02 ±21.15)mm Hg,(115.92 ± 17.56)mm Hg,(119.00 ±12.49)mm Hg.(118.08 ±9.09)mm Hg vs (121.52 ± 10.92) mm Hg,(116.04 ± 11.61)mm Hg,(124.98 ± 9.16) mm Hg,all P ＜ 0.05].Compared with T0 parturient HR was undulation at T1,T5 (P ＜ 0.05).Compared with C,D group,statistical differences were found at T1,T3,T4,T6 [(82.92 ± 19.55) times/min vs (98.86 ±17.82)times/min,(96.72 ± 17.91) times/min.(89.04 ± 16.68) times/min vs (92.10 ± 16.55) times/min,(98.46 ± 19.49) times/min.(87.56 ± 17.13) times/min vs (98.86 ± 16.76) times/min,(88.58 ± 19.22) times/min.(93.20 ± 14.07) times/min vs (98.80 ± 11.69) times/min,(90.98 ± 10.93) times/min.all P ＜ 0.05].In B and C group,parturient SBP and HR were steady and the untoward reaction was very few.Although parturient SBP of D group was steady,but HR obviously fast during operation (P ＜ 0.05).Compared with B,C group,statistical differences were found at T4,T6 (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion The optimum dose is 10 ～ 15 mg of ephedrine.It combined with hydroxyethyl starch as a volume preload can keep the stable of blood circulation.

Objective To investigate the injury characteristics and prognostic risk factors of patients with craniocerebral injury so as to provide some suggestions for the improvement of medical prevention,intervention and treatment measures.Methods Trauma database system was applied to collect the medical records of 661 patients with traumatic brain injury admitted to the Department of Neurosurgery of 105th Hospital of Hefei in 2009.Their general conditions,injury characteristics and outcomes were analyzed and the risk factors affecting their outcomes were investigated by Logistic regression analysis.Results Of the patients with craniocerebral injury,the males accounted for 70％ (463/661).The patients at 45 years old or so had the highest incidence of craniocerebral injury.Patient number in the second half of one year was 1.65 times more than that in the first half of one year (412/249 ).Most patients were injured from traffic accidents (87.7％,580/661 ) and 512 patients (77.5％) suffered from multiple injuries.ISS,injury causes,age and injury incidence quarters showed close correlation with the final outcome.Conclusions The patients with craniocerebral injury demonstrates distinctive characteristics in aspects of gender,age,incidence time,injury causes,and multiple injuries,but the ultimate outcomes are related to the injury severity,injury causes,age and other factors.

Objective To improve clinicians'understanding of nephrotic syndrome and myasthenia gravis as adverse events of penicillamine(D-PA).Methods Two patients were reported to develope adverse reaction after taking D-PA.The related literature were reviewed.Result The first case was a systemic sclero- sis(SSc)patient treated with D-PA who developed nephrotic syndrome and blepharoptosis.The second case was a rheumatoid arthritis patient treated with D-PA who developed dysphagia and drinking bucking.The clinical symptoms were improved after disconting D-PA.Their conditions were stable up to now.Conclusion D-PA is used widely for various of autoimmune diseases.Clinicians should pay attention to these special and rare adverse effects.

Objective To explore the value of Ligasure vessel sealing system(LVSS)during resection of retroperitoneal tumor.Methods Group 1 including 32 cases were performed resection of retroperitoneal tumor with LVSS and electrosurgical seapel from Jun.2004 to Oct.2008.group 2 including 26 cases were done with electrosurgieal seapel from Jan.2001 to Jun.2004.Operating blood loss,operating time,iatrogenic injury,postoperative blood loss and hospital stay were compared between the two groups.Results There was no significant difference in hospital stay[(11.7±0.7)d vs.(12.3±1.4)d)]and iatrogenic injury(9.38%vs.16.00%)between two groups statistically(P＞0.05),but the intraoperative blood lose[(403.1±37.1)ml vs.(704.0±129.0)m1)s,postoperative blood loss[(131.5±18.4)ml vs.(214.8±29.2)ml)]and operating time[(166.5±8.9)min vs.(186.8±15.4)min]were less in group 1 than that in group 2(P＜0.05).Conclusion Ligasure vessel sealing system has advantages of safe coagulation,shortening operation time in resection of retroperitoneal tumor.

Objective To investigate the wake-promoting effect of vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) on coma rats after traumatic brain in-jury (TBI), and the related mechanism. Methods A total of 168 healthy Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into blank group, TBI group, antagonist group and VNS group, 42 rats in each group. The latter three groups were established TBI model with impact, and the rats in coma at least 30 minutes were included. VNS group accepted VNS, the antagonist group were injected intralateroventricularly Orexin A receptor 1 (OXR1) antagonist SB334867, and TBI group accepted sham VNS. Their behaviors were observed to determine the level of con-sciousness six, twelve and 24 hours after intervention, while the expression ofγ-aminobutyric acid b1 receptor (GABAb1R) in prefrontal cortex was detected with immunohistochemistry and Western blotting. Results There were 42 rats in the blank group, 11 rats in TBI group, 13 rats in the antagonist group, and 28 rats in VNS group awakened finally. The expression of GABAb1R in prefrontal cortex ranged as TBI group, antagonist group, blank group and VNS group from more to less twelve and 24 hours after intervention under Western blotting (F>60.412, P<0.001), and it ranged as TBI group, antagonist group, VNS group and blank group under immunohistochemistry (H=15.121, P=0.002), with no significant difference among time points (H=3.028, P=0.220). Conclusion VNS can promote waking from coma in rats after TBI, which may relate with the decrease of GABAb1R in prefrontal cortex that induced by Orexin A.

Objective To compare the efficacy of low temperature controlled plasma technology by nasal endoscopy and cystectomy via labiogingival groove approach in treatment of nasal vestibular cyst. Methods 38 patients with nasal vestibular cyst from Jan 2013 to Nov 2016 were selected and randomly divided into control group (n = 20) and observation group (n = 18). The control group received cystectomy via labiogingival groove approach and the observation group received low temperature controlled plasma technology by nasal endoscopy. The time of surgery, bleeding volume in surgery, hospitalization, postoperative complications and relapse were collected and compared between the two groups. Results We found that the observation group have less surgery time than that in control group [(65.45 ± 27.51) vs (34.72 ± 17.61) min, P = 0.000], less bleeding volume in surgery [(22.35 ± 18.41) vs (3.17 ± 1.69) ml, P = 0.000), less postoperative complications [(6.35 ± 0.75) vs (3.61 ± 1.19) d, P = 0.000] and less postoperative complications (16 vs 1, P = 0.000), but relapse of the two groups have no statistical difference (1 vs 0, P = 0.783). Conclusions Low temperature controlled plasma technology by nasal endoscopy in treatment of nasal vestibular cyst have many advantages than cystectomy via labiogingival groove approach such as shorter time of surgery, less bleeding volume in surgery, shorter hospitalization and less postoperative complications. Therefore it's worth of applying clinically.
