2.MRI in the diagnosis and staging of lung cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2013;40(10):762-765
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI),a commonly used imaging technique, has been extensively investigated in lung cancer diagnosis and staging. Many studies have demonstrated that MRI can be used for the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant pulmonary nodules and for the screening of lung cancer; it also has important value in TNM staging of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC),with equivalent sensitivity and specificity to 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG) PET-CT,which suggests that MRI can be used as an alternative imaging modality in noninvasive diagnosis and staging of NSCLC.

5.Risk analysis of upper gastrointestinal bleeding in elderly patients with aspirin and clopidogrel co-therapy
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2011;18(z2):5-7
ObjectiveTo explore the current occurrence of upper gastrointestinal bleeding in elderly patients in our hospital and its possible risk factors and treatment program.MethodsAn observational prospective analysis of medical records of 758 consecutive patients was performed.Clinical presentation, etiology and treatment were evaluated. The follow-up ended on the dates of a first occurrence of UGIB,stopping co-therapy,death or 6 months after admitted in the group.Results426 male and 332 female were admitted in the group,UGIB occurred in 48 patients.PPI,H2RA,gastric mucosa protectant plus PPI,gastric mucosa protectant plus H2RA and control were prescribed in 108,240,70,102,238 patients respectively. There were statistics difference in each group compared with control in bleeding rate.ConclusionThe occurrence of UGIB associated with A + C co-therapy in elderly was 6.3%.Co-prescription with PPI and gastric mucosa protectant was associated with a lower risk.
6.The relationship of psychological resilience, self-supporting personality and psychological health of stay-at-home college students
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2012;21(3):268-271
Objective To study the influence of stay-at-home college students' resilience,self-supporting personality on psychological health state. Methods A sampling survey include 536 college students was done by psychological resilience list,self-supporting personality list,90 samptoms list (SCL-90),225 stay-at-home college students were taken as study group, and 311 non-stay-at-home college students as control group. Then the results were calculated and analyzed by SPSS13.0,and the calculating methods were listed as follows:analysis of variance,chi-square test, correlation analysis, linear regression and so on.Results ① The scores of family supporting, interpersonal independence of stay-at-home college students were apparently lower than those of non-stay-at-homes(F =5.826,P < 0.05 ; F =6.614,P < 0.05 ; F =4.163,P < 0.05 ),but the score of independence was apparently higher than those of non-stay-at-homes(F =3.980,P < 0.05).②The SCL-90 total scores and each factor score of stay-at-home college were narrow higher than those of non-stay-at-home college students, while the difference level still didnt reach significant level( all P> 0.05 ).The relevance ratio of apparent psychological symptoms of the two group college students didnt has significent calculating difference( all P > 0.05 ).③ The SCL-90 total score item and most individual factor item of stay-at-home college students had apparent negative correlation with the interpersonal independence factor of their resilience and self-supporting personality (r =- 0.537 ~ - 0.132,P < 0.05 ),while not apparent negative correlation with the individual independence factor(r =-0.118 ~0.105,P > 0.05 ),and also they had very few correlation with the SCL-90 factor item which was relevant with interpersonal flexibility.④Emotion control, psychological resilience and interpersonal independence apparently negatively predict the physical and mental symptoms of those stay-at-home college students, with the predicting rate of 33.7%.Conclusion Stay-at-home experience has effects on the family-supporting,bearing power, independence and interpersonal independence of college students ;Emotion control, psychological resilience and interpersonal self-supporting are the protecting factors of the psychological health condition of college students.

9.Lessons of the Ban on Phenylpropanolamine(PPA)
Chinese Journal of Pharmacoepidemiology 2001;10(1):1-3
To help pharmaceutical companies absorb lessons from the Ban on PPA, the article analyses the behavior of SinoUS Smith Kline & French, which led to great loss after the Ban of an PPA by SDA of China. It points out that the Ban of PPA did not come unexpectedly. Before the Ban many clinical reports had been released and the authorities of some countries had already introduced ban on PPA or issued warnings on the possible danger of PPA. If the company in question had taken timely measures to keep track of the information, the loss could have been minimized, It is concluded that the pharmaceutical companies should step up their effort for the monitoring and following-up of their products after introduction of their durgs to markets and attach importance to the study of pharmacoepidemioloy. Pharmaceutical companies should put emphasis on the collection of information.
