Objective To study the effects of patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) on plasma endothelin-1 (ET-1) of patients after mitral valve replacement.Methods One hundred and twenty ASA Ⅱ -Ⅲ patients undergoing mitral valve replacement were randomly divided into four groups, 30 cases in each group. The patients were given PC IA with lornoxicam 16 μ g/(kg·h ) in group L, fentanyl 0.2 μ g/( kg·h) in group F, tramadol 0.2 mg/(kg·h) in group T,and without PCIA in group D. VAS score and Ramsay score were recorded at 8,12,24 and 48 h after operation.The plasma ET-1 levels were detected using radioimmunoassay before anesthesia induction,at 8,12 and 24 h after operation.Results VAS scores in group L, F,T were lower at 8,12 h after operation than those in group D,Ramsay scores in group L, D were lower than those in group F,T.ET-1 levels in group L,F and T were significantly lower than those in group D at 8,12 and 24 h after operation (P <0.05).The numbers of dizziness, nausea,vomiting after operation in group L[3.3%(1/30) ,3.3%( 1/30),0]and group D(0)were significantly less than those in group F[13.3% (4/13), 13.3%(4/13), 10.0%(3/30)]and group T[10.0%(3/30), 26.7%(8/30), 16.7%(5/30)](P < 0.05).Conclusion PCIA with lornoxicam is a better method of suppressing the increase of plasma ET-1 levels with less side effects in the patients after mitral valve replacement.

Objective To identify Caulis Piperis Kadsurae and its adulterants. Methods Identification of Caulis Piperis Kadsurae and its adulterants was carried out by comparing its characteristic,microscopic,TLC and UV Spectra. Results There were many differences between Caulis Piperis Kadsurae and its adulterants. Conclusion The methods reported in the article could identify Caulis Piperis Kadsureae well..

We prepared bovine epidermal keratin (EK) antibody, which can be used as a specific marker of cholangiocarcinoma(CC) cells to be distinguished from hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells. The intrahepatically implanted solid tumors of FSK 7901 and FSK 7902 have the histological structures of CC and HCC, respectively. Using immunofluorescence and PAP techniques, we demonstrated that, in the solid tumors, FSK 7901 cells are definitely EK-positive, while most of the cells of FSK 7902 are EK-negative. Therefore, we considered FSK 7901 and FSK 7902 as CC and HCC, respectively. In the solid tumors of FSK 7902, few cells which are EK-positive may be those in which there are Mallory bodies or the structures are forming.

Objective To study children′s social adaptive capability and their relative factors.Methods Five hundred and twenty-seven children in 4 different kindergartens were surveyed by using the social adaptive capability-measuring list from infant to junior school student which revised by ZUO Qi-hua and questionnaire of family situation which compiled by TAO Gong-min and Zhu Xiao-qin.Results Twenty-five point three percent of the surveyed children′s social adaptive capabilities were higher than normal level.Sixty-eight point nine percent of them were at normal level.Four point seven percent of them were at edge level.The rest were at a slightly lower level.The influencing factors included the educational level of parents,the educational manner of the parents and their marriage relationship.Conclusions It is necessary to do some investigation to find problem eariler on children′s social adaptive capability.Suitable educational methods and good family environment are important to improve children′s social adaptive capability.

Calcium calculi account for about 80% of urolithiasis with high incidence and recurrence rate. Recurrent urolithiasis increases the risk of hypertension and chronic kidney disease. Comprehensive metabolic evaluation is of paramount importance for the prevention of calcium calculi. With deepening of the study on the pathogenesis of calculi, we find crystallization inhibitors, inflammation and oxidative stress molecules play an important role in the formation of calculi, and susceptibility gene sites of urinary calculi are identified in succession. These may be used as novel markers for the prevention and evaluation of urinary calculi. Models that predict the risk of kidney stone recurrence can help warn people at high risk.
