Research methods:
Methods of textual analysis for ancient books and analysis and synthesis were used in the study.
Conclusion
In the book “legs bshad be ed’u dkar poi ‘phreng ba zhes bya ba bzhugs so” written by Darmo Maaramba Luvsanchoidog clearly outlines the method of analyzing the sources of many precious medicines. Furthermore, the research identified that “legs bshad be ed’u dkar poi ‘phreng ba zhes bya ba bzhugs so” is a significant work to understand precious medicines in the main scriptures of medicine and thoroughly explained their content and terminology. In particular, ring srel (in English relic), which has long been forgotten in traditional medicine, has gained practical significance as it clearly explains its classification, nature, and use.
2.Evaluation of nCD64 and CD14 Index as Diagnostic Markers for Hematologic Tumors Combined with Bacterial Infection.
Journal of Experimental Hematology 2017;25(5):1566-1570
OBJECTIVETo explore the value of both CD64(nCD64 IND) and CD14 (CD14 IND) Index of peripheral blood neutrophils as the diagnostic markers of hematologic tumors combined with bacterial infection.
METHODSSixty-four patients with hematological tumors were selected and divided into the group complicated with bacterial infection (infection group, 33 cases) and the non-infection group (31 cases), the flow cytometry was be used to detect the related peripheral blood markers CD64 and CD14, the nCD64 IND and CD14 IND were calculated, and the peripheral blood WBC count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and C-reactive protein (CRP) were determined at the same time.
RESULTSThe differences of nCD64 IND and CRP between these 2 groups were statistically significant (P<0.05), however, the differences of CD14IND, ESR and WBC between these 2 groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05). The receiver operating curves (ROC) were drawn by using the data of all indictors in the 2 groups, and the order of the area under the curve(AUC) from big to small size was as follows: nCD64IND(0.974)>CRP(0.786)>ESR(0.675)>WBC(0.598)>CD14IND(0.556). The AUC of nCD64IND, CRP and ESR were statistically significantly different from the standard area of 0.5(P<0.05), while the AUC of CD14 IND,WBC were not statistically significantly different from the standard area of 0.5(P>0.05).
CONCLUSIONnCD64 possesses a high diagnostic value for hematologic tumors with bacterial infection, it's sensitivity and specificity both are higher than that of CRP and ESR.

Most recent researches by our historians and archeologists showed that Traditional Mongolian Medicine has undergone 5000 years of historical development which contained all the features of nomadic medicine. Among this 5000 years, the Tibetan medicine particularly, some of the Tibetan doctors their books and sutras influenced a lot into our medical system. Darmo Menrampa Lobzang Chodrak was one of the Tibetan doctors who played important role in field of Mongolian Medicine.
In the course of the research, we have summarized data of over 10 sources and determined that the following books and sutras have been written in medicine without overlapping. From the many of the medical works of Dharmo maaramba wrote, medical sutra that was written in text during his time among Mongols, was found Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region of China, which indicates that he has had a profound impact on Mongolian medicine and the literature spread through Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region of China and Mongolia and is still being used in training, research and practice. In the ancient Tibetan books, the Dharmo maaramba was pronounced in Mongolian as «Darkhan Tengeryn Ezen,” «Otoch Khan» and «Dharmo Emch.”
His name was included in the list of teachers of Zaya Bandida Luvsanprinlei (1642-1708), which is undoubtedly the fact that Dharmo maaramba was his teacher.

OBJECTIVE:To study the improvement effects of saf flower yellow on lung function in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)model rats. METHODS :SD rats were randomly divided into control group ,model group ,positive control group (dexamethasone,0.09 mg/kg),safflower yellow low-dose ,medium-dose and high-dose groups (5,10,20 mg/kg), with 10 rats in control group and 11 rats in other groups. Except for control group ,other groups were given lipopolysaccharide combined with fumigation to induce COPD model. After modeling ,control group and model group were given constant volume of normal saline intragastrically ,and administration groups were given relevant medicine intragastrically ,once a day ,for consecutive 12 weeks. After last medication ,the levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL- 8 were detected by ELISA. The levels of blood gas indexes (PaO2,SaO2 and PaCO 2)in whole blood were detected by blood gas analyzer. The levels of lung function indexes (FVC,FEV1, FEV1/FVC,PEF and MMEF )were detected by lung function analyzer. The expression of TLR 4,NF-κB and I κB-α protein were detected by Western blot. HE staining was used to observe the pathological changes of lung tissue. RESULTS :Compared with control group ,the serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL- 8,the level of PaCO 2 in whole blood as well as the protein expression of TLR4 and NF-κB in lung tissue were increased significantly in model group(P<0.01);the levels of PaO 2 and SaO 2 in whole blood, the levels of lung function as FVC ,FEV1,FEV1/ FVC,PEF and MMEF as well as the protein expression of IκBα in lung tissue were decreased significantly(P<0.01); there were obvious degeneration and necrosis in the epithelial cells of lung tissue ,and obvious inflammatory infiltration in the interstitial cells. Compared with model group ,the levels o f inflammatory factors in serum ,blood gas indexes in whole blood and lung function indexes as well as the expression of related protein in lung tissue (except for IκBα in low-dose group)were reversed significantly in safflower yellow groups (P<0.05 or P< 0.01);the necrosis ,exfoliation and inflammatory infiltration of epithelial cells in lung tissue were improved in varying degrees. CONCLUSIONS:Safflower yellow can significantly improve the lung function of COPD model rats ,and its mechanism may be related to inhibiting the expression of inflammatory factors and regulating the expression of TLR 4/NF-κB pathway-related proteins.

Thyroid disease is characterized by unusual levels of thyroid hormones, which results in either hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism. The pathology of a particular type or stage of thyroid disease is very complicated, and always linked to a variety of biological functions. Although the mortality rate is not high, thyroid dysfunction could lead to metabolic and immunological disorders that can subsequently cause discomfort. To date, many drugs are suggested to have curative effects on thyroid disease, however, drug toxicity and long treatment periods encourage the search for more promising ones. Prunella vulgaris L. (Labiatae) is a popular herb that has shown great potential for improving human immunity and organ protection. It has been extensively used in the treatment of many diseases but its ability to treat specific diseases has not been fully reported. In this review, a literature search regarding herbs and herbal recipes for treating thyroid disease were carried out, organized, and summarized. In addition, this study conducted a literature search on the current situation and progress of P. vulgaris treatment for various diseases. Finally, this study discussed studies regarding P. vulgaris treatment of goiter, and the mechanism of treatment through the regulation of apoptosis. Accordingly, a combination therapy of herbs and Western medicine can provide significant therapeutic effects in the clinical treatment of thyroid disease. Furthermore, the association between P. vulgaris and various diseases suggests that P. vulgaris is rich in a variety of active substances that can fight oxidation and participate in the regulation of apoptosis, thus having a protective effect on the thyroid. Here, a comprehensive literature review regarding the application of herbs or herbal recipes in the treatment of thyroid disease was presented. It is concluded that there is strong evidence for further research regarding the use of P. vulgaris in the treatment of thyroid diseases.
