Objective To study the effect of curcumin ointment on scar formation in filtering blebs after trabeculectomy in rabbits. Methods Twenty-seven rabbits( 27 eyes) were randomly divided into control group,and matrix( placebo) group,and curcumin group,9 in each group. Trabeculectomy for right eyes was performed on all rabbits. Eyes in control group were not treated with any drug,eyes in matrix group were smeared with 0. 1 g common eye ointment ( 3 times a day) ,and eyes in curcumin group were smeared with 0. 1 g curcumin eye ointment ( 3 times a day). Then,intraocular pressure ( IOP) ,filtering blebs,inflammatory cells,collagen,fibroblasts and myofibroblasts were detected by immunohistochemical staining. Results No significant difference was observed in IOP among the 3 groups before and 1,3,28 d after operation. Objective To review the clinical changes and the management experience of hemodynamics after orthotopic heart transplantation.Methods Orthotopic homologous heart transplantation was performed on 25 cases from January 2000 to October 2003. The hemodynamic changes were monitored after operation with Swan-Ganz catheter and color Dopplor ultrasound. The therapy strategy was regulated when the monitor index and the clinical situation were referenced.Results PAWP, PASP, CVP, CO and CI were increased on the operation day. From the first day to the 7th day, PAWP, PASP and CVP were increased with right ventricle enlarged and sometimes arrhythmia and hydrothorax occurred. After strengthening heart, diuresis and stretching vessel, the hemodynamic changes of 23 cases were inversed and two cases’ conditions got worse. The two patients died of multiple organ failure on the 16th and 23rd day respectively.Conclusion The hemodynamic changes often occur at the early term after orthotopic heart transplantation. The main change is the right ventricular failure. It is important for the patient’s condition recovery and prognosis to monitor the hemodynamic changes and analyze the cause in order to direct the therapy.

Objective To investigate the clinical features and surgical management of giant coronary artery aneurysm due to mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome(Kawasaki disease).Methods From May 2006 to Oct.2007,5 patients with giant coronary artery aneurysm were undergone surgical correction.The aneurysm mainly appeared in the left bole of coronary artery and the right coronary artery.The ST segment of electrocardiogram changed in 5 cases,cardiac ejection fraction reduced observably in 4 cases,and 1 case suffered from cardiac dysfunction.Coronary angiography showed that the right coronary artery was entirely occluded and ventricular wall motion was depressed in one case.During operation,4 cases were undergone thrombus clearing,endoarterectomy and replasty of coronary artery(with additional procedure of stent placement in one case),one case was undergone coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG) with the aneurysm sequestration.Results The surgical results were satisfactory.No operative death occurred,and all the patients recovered uneventfully and were free of symptoms.In 4 cases,the ST segment of electrocardiogram showed that the blood supply of ischemic myocardium was improved,and the cardiac ejection fraction increased obviously.With 2 to 18 months following-up,all patients were free of symptoms with no death or coronary artery aneurysm recurrence.Conclusions For stage 3 Kawasaki disease complicated with giant coronary artery aneurysm,surgical procedure is necessary.The cardiac function can be improved greatly after comprehensive treatment of thrombus clearing,endoarterectomy,replasty of coronary artery and CABG.

Objective To study how to store and display the data combined with pictures and texts in Management Information System(MIS) for client to manage and use the MIS easily.Methods The MIS used Access 2003 as database and Delphi 7 as development platform.With the use of RXRichEdit controller,the pictures and texts data were stored in database.Results The problem of storing the pictures and texts data in database was solved.The most functions such as input,storage and display of pictures and texts data were realized in MIS.Conclusion The use of RXRichEdit controller can simplify the storage and display the pictures and texts data in database.It not only makes convenience for user to operate the data,but also improves the performance of the system.

Objective To investigate clinical manifestations and clinical diagnosis and treatment and pathological and immunohistochemical features in gastrointestinal stromal tumors. Methods The clinical data of fifty-two cases with gastrointestinal stromal tumors were collected, whose clinical diagnosis and treat-ment and pathological features were retrospectively analyzed from January 1995 to December 2007. Results All patients received operation therapy, only forty-five cases with complete surgical resection. The immu-nohistochemical staining showed that the cases with CD117 positive accounted for 100% (52/52) and CD34 positive accounted for 88.5% (46/52). Conclusions Surgery was necessary for all patients, especially complete surgical resection. Gastrointestinal stromal tumors were poor in preoperative diagnosis, which diag-nosis was based on the immunohistochemical staining of the tumor tissue. CD117 and CD34 tumor markers may help to diagnose gastrointestinal stromal tumors.

Aim To investigate the effect of U50488H(a selective κ-opioid receptor agonist)and isoproterenol(ISO,a β-adrenergic receptor agonist)on ventricular arrhythmias and Cx43 during myocardial ischemia and reperfusion in rats.Methods 60 rats were randomly divided into five groups,ie,normal control group,I/R group,ISO+I/R group,U50488H+ISO+I/R group,Nor-BNI+U50488H+ISO+I/R group.The incidence of ventricular arrhythmias and arrhythmia score were determined. The expression of Cx43mRNA was tested by RT-PCR.The expression of Cx43 protein in myocardial cell was tested by an immunohistochemical approach with a quantitative imaging system.Results ① Compared with the I/R group,arrhythmia score was increased with administration of ISO(P<0.05).U50488H intravenously injected before ISO significantly decreased the arrhythmia score(P<0.05).② Compared with the normal control group,the expression of Cx43 mRNA was decreased in the I/R group(P<0.05).With administration of ISO,the amount of Cx43 mRNA was not significantly increased.③ Compared with normal control group,total and phosphorylated Cx43 proteins were significantly decreased in the I/R group(P<0.05),and the phosphorylated Cx43 was also decreased with administration of ISO.Compared with ISO+I/R group,phosphorylated Cx43 was increased with administration of U50488H (P<0.05).Conclusion κ-opioid receptor agonist U50488 H antagonizes the arrhythmias through the regulation of Cx43 during myocardial ischemia and reperfusion via inhibiting β-adrenergic receptor pathway.

Objective To study the curative effect and the prognostic factors of endoscopic traumatic optic neuropathy (TON). Methods The clinical data of 53 patients with TON from 2010 to 2015 years was retrospectively analyzed. Divided the patients into the surgery group and the non-surgery group, according to whether or not accept the treatment of endoscopic optic decompression. And evaluating the potential prognostic factors in chi-square test, group t-test and multiple regression analysis. Results In 53 patients (55 eyes ), 31 eyes have no visual acuity before treated: 8 eyes’ visual acuity was improved in 16 eyes (8/16) that accepted operation; 3 eyes’ visual acuity was improved in 15 eyes (3/15) that with non-operation;24 eyes have visual acuity before treated:11 eyes’ visual acuity was improved in 14 eyes (11/14) that accepted operation;3 eyes’ visual acuity was improved in 10 eyes (3/10) that with non-operation;19 eyes’ visual acuity was improved in 30 eyes (19/30) that accepted operation, the total effective rate was 63.3%, and there was no complications happened in the patients who accepted operation. The age, eye-side, sex, visual acuity, optic canal fracture , orbit fracture , all these factors have no correlation to the prognosis (P>0.05), but the interval time between injury and operation (less than 3 days) and the way of the treatment are benefit to improve vision (P<0.05). Conclusions The endoscopic optic decompression is an effective treatment in TON, and it’s better to improve vision in 3-day after TON.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of subcutaneousimmunotherapy(SCIT) on levels of the serum human beta defensin-2 in children with allergic rhinitis. METHODS 30 cases of children with allergic rhinitis who were treated by SIT were selected as the treatment group, 20 cases of healthy children as the control group. Serum HBD-2 concentration of the control group was tested. Serum HBD-2 concentration of the treatment group was tested at three different time points: before SCIT, half a year after SCIT and one year after SCIT. And total nasal symptom scores(TNSS) and medication scores were recorded at each time point. RESULTS The serum HBD-2 concentration of the control group, that of the treatment group before SIT, half a year after SIT and one year after SIT were 4.62[4.08; 4.87], 3.74[3.37; 4.61], 4.62[4.13; 5.54], 4.79[4.45;6.19]ng/ml. The HBD-2 concentration gradually increased after SCIT. The TNSS of the treatment group before SCIT, half a year after SCIT and one year after SCIT were 7.43±2.15, 4.17±2.16, 4.20±1.92, The medication scores of the treatment group before SCIT, half a year after SCIT and one year after SCIT were 1.25[0.75; 1.38], 0.25[0; 0.75, 0.25[0; 0.75].There was no correlation (all P>0.05) between the serum HBD-2 concentration and TNSS or medication scores of the treatment group. CONCLUSION The serum levels of HBD-2 in patients with allergic rhinitis were lower than those in normal persons. The specific immunotherapy raised the serum HBD-2 levels of allergic rhinitis patients.

S-1 is the third generation of fluorouracil derivative anti-cancer agent with small side effects ,efficacy ,and drug delivery is convenient .In a large number of clinical trials and continuous clinical application ,it showed the good effect for the treatment of advanced breast cancer ,which was expected to become the first-line chemotherapy drug for breast cancer treat-ment in the future .
