Objective To study ST-segment deviation on predicting culprit artery or culprit lesion in acute myocardial infarction(AM/).Methods The study population included patients with AMI who subsequently underwent coronary angiography during hospitalization.Culprit artery and culprit parts were evaluated, and ST-segment characteristics were analyzed. Results A higher ST-segment elevation in leadⅢthan in leadⅡand ST-segment depression>1 mm in lead aVL or lead I were highly sensitive(75%)and specific(100%)markers for right coronary artery-related AMI.ST-segment depression>1 mm in leadⅡ,Ⅲand aVF was lowly sensitive(39%)and highly specific (93%)marker for the left anterior descending artery-related AMI.Conclusion The culprit artery or culprit lesion coutd be predicted by using electrocardiogram at admission.

Objective To explore the diagnostic significance of anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody(anti-CCP)and the role it plays in the articular erosion in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods The diagnostic significance of anti-CCP?AKA and RF were evaluated respectively.Seventy-five RA patients were devided into group1(limited radiographic damage group)and group2(severe radiographic damage group). The distribution of anti-CCP,AKA and RF in patients of the two groups were investigated.A univariate analysis was used to determine whether anti-CCP?AKA?RF?ANA?ESR?CRP or cutaneous nodules plays a role on articular erosion in RA.To determine which has the best predictive value for severe radiographic da-mage,all variables were entered into a logistic regression model. Results The sensitivity and specificity of an-ti-CCP?AKA and RF were49%,94%;50%,93%;79%,67%respectively.When any two markers were combined, the specificity would be raised. The positive rate of these three markers were much higher in group2than that in group1.Anti-CCP had the highest OR(6.71)for articular erosion in RA.Logistic regression analysis showed a strong correlation between anti-CCP,AKA,CRP or cutaneous nodules and less favourable disease outcomes.Cut.aneous nodules had the strongest correlation with severe radiographic damage. Conclusion Anti-CCP is a satisfactory marker for RA.Diagnostic accuracy appears to be raised when anti-CCP combined with AKA and RF.Anti-CCP has a strong correlation with severe radiographic damage. To investigate multiple risk factors of articular erosion will be helpful to pridict the outcome of RA.

BACKGROUND:With the social and economic development and aging, coronary heart disease has become the primary cause of death endangering human life and health, while cardiovascular intervention (especial y stenting) in the treatment of cardiovascular disease is at a growing status. OBJECTIVE:To describe the development, research progress and latest clinical application of heart interventional materials as wel as advantages and disadvantages of biodegradable stents, and meanwhile to prospect for its future development and improvement. METHODS:A computer-based online search was conducted in PubMed for English language publications from January 1999 to April 2014 using the key words of“stent, scaffold, bioabsorbable, bioresorbable, biodegradable, biocompatibility, material properties”in English. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The new ful y biodegradable stents are considered as another major progress in the cardiac intervention, which brings a new gospel for patients with coronary heart disease. In the initial stage of implantation, biodegradable stents exhibit the same mechanical support as bare metal stents;after implantation, anti-proliferative drugs are released to prevent thrombosis and restenosis, and the stent is completely degraded within a specified period, which significantly reduces the late-stage and very late-stage thrombosis and the risk of in-stent restenosis. However, long-term safety and efficacy of biodegradable stents need further studies. Innovation of stent design and materials science is the key to overcome the current shortcomings of biodegradable stents.

Alcoholic liver disease ( ALD ) , a chronic progres-sive disease, threatens human health seriously. An increasing number of studies have shown that gut flora dysbiosis plays an important role in the development of ALD. Intestinal microbiota maintains a steady state under normal conditions, regulating gut flora normal physiological function. However, chronic alcohol consumption produces intestinal bacteria overgrowth and dysbio-sis, including the alteration of the composition of intestinal mi-croflora, the increment of gut permeability and bacterial translo-cation. Subsequently, the host immune is activated, promoting the production of inflammatory cytokines in liver, which plays a central role in the development of ALD. Notably, the supple-ment of prebiotics or probiotics reverses the intestinal flora disor-der,ameliorating the clinical symptoms effectively in ALD pa-tients. The evidence impies that the modulation of dysbiosis may be effective in the prevention and treatment of ALD. This review summarizes the research progress on the mechanism of the devel-opment of dysbiosis-mediated ALD, to provide a theoretical basis for the research on intestinal flora and ALD.

AIM: To explore the effects of rheum tanguticum polysaccharides(RTP) on TNBS-induced colitis in mice and its probable mechanisms.METHODS: Mice colitis model was induced by 2,4,6-trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid(TNBS).The mice were randomly divided into 5 groups, normal group, model group,RTP-100,200 and 400 group. The macroscopical and histological changes of the colon were evaluated and the cytokines IL-8,IL-10,TNF-?and IL-4 produced by splenocyts were analyzed with ELISA.RESULTS: Compared with the model group, both symptoms and the lesions of colonic mucosa of RTP-200 and 400 group were slighter on ulcerative colitis induced by TNBS in mice. Furthermore, the expressions of TNF-?and IL-8 in colon tissue of mice with TNBS-induced colitis were higher and the IL-10 and IL-4 were lower than that of normal control(P

AIM: To study on the expansion of CD~(4+) T lymphocytes isolated from rats with colitis induced by 2,4,6-trinitrobenzene sulphonic acid (TNBS). METHODS: The numeration and protein expression of CD~(4+) T lymphocytes had been performed by immunohistological analysis, flow cytometry and Western-blot. RESULTS: The numeration of CD4+ T cells and the protein expression of CD~(4+) T lymphocytes increased significantly in rats with colitis induced by 2,4,6-trinitrobenzene sulphonic acid. CONCLUSION: Expansion of CD~(4+) T lymphocytes in TNBS-induced colitis provides us a simple and reducible animal model for research of the new target of therapeutic drug.

AIM To study whether nitric oxide preconditioning induce early protection of neonatal rat cardiomyocytes. METHODS Cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes were divided into 6 groups. ①Normal group;②NO group: SNAP(500 ?mol?L -1 ) was added to cell medium 1 h before lethal hypoxia/reoxygenation (HR) injury (6 h hypoxia and 3 h reoxygenation); ③HP group: Cells were cultured for 60min hypoxia followed by 30 min reoxygenation to form hypoxia preconditioning before lethal HR injury;④ L NAME+HP group: Nitric oxide synthase antagonist L NAME was added during HP stage;⑤ L Arg group: L arginine was added to cell medium 1h before lethal HR injury;⑥ L NAME+ L Arg group: Both L NAME and L Arg were added to cell medium 1 h before lethal HR injury;⑦H/R group: Cells underwent lethal HR injury without any treatment. Cardiomyocytes injury was detected by lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) activity and cell viability. RESULTS Nitric oxide preconditioning can protect cardiomyocytes by reducing LDH activity and improving cell viability ( P
