1.Relationship between Resistant Index and Ovarian Function after Radical Hysterectomy with Ovarian Transposition in Young Women with Cervical Cancer
Acta Medicinae Universitatis Scientiae et Technologiae Huazhong 2010;39(1):33-36
Objective To investigate the relation of resistant index and function of transposited ovaries following radical hysterectomy in young women with early stage of cervical cancer. Methods A total of 22 young women(aged from 26 to 40 years old)with early stage of cervical cancer(FIGO Ⅰ a or Ⅱ a)were studied from Aug.1997 to Sep.2004 in the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical Collage.Ovarian transposition was performed at the time of radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy in 12 cases who received postoperative radiotherapy;the rest 10 cases did not receive postoperative radiotherapy.Ovarian function was evaluated by serum FSH,LH,E_2 and B-ultrasonography in all of the cases. Results There was a statistically significant difference between the radiotherapy group and the non-radiotherapy group in serum E_2,FSH,LH levels and RI at the 24th month postoperatively.RI had a negative correlation with E_2 and positive correlation with FSH.Conclusion Ovarian transplantation can preserve the endocrine function of ovary for young women with cervical cancer.RI has a negative correlation with E_2 and positive correlation with FSH.RI is the important index of supervising ovarian function.Postoperative radiotherapy can influence RI and ovarian function.
2.Ionizing radiation activates the HIF-lα-Survivin pathway in human lymphoma cells
Chinese Journal of Radiological Medicine and Protection 2012;32(3):274-277
Objective To determine the levels of radiation-induced expressions of HIF-1α and Survivin in three human lymphoma cell lines with or without HIF-1a specific antagonist or HIF-1a siRNA transfection and to explore the possible mechanism of cell radioresistance. Methods Namalwa,Ramos,Raji cells were irradiated with X-rays with or without the combination of echinomycin (EC),a HIF-1α specific inhibitor,or transfection of HIF-1α siRNA.Then the expression levels of HIF-1α and Survivin proteins and mRNAs were determined by Western blot and real-time PCR,respectively. Results After irradiation, the expression level of HIF-1α protein was up-regulated at 10-20 h followed by up-regulation of survivin protein at 24 h (t =7.53-31.31,P < 0.01 ) in three lymphoma cell lines.Radiation-induced up-expression of survivin protein was significantly reduced by either HIF-1α inhibition or EC treatment (t =7.21-32.81,P <0.01 ).However, radiation failed to induce up-erpression of survivin at both mRNA and protein levels after transfection with HIF-1α siRNA.Conclusion HIF-1α-Survivin pathway is activated in human lymphoma cells after radiation, which might be involved in the cell radioresistance.
3.Talking about the Advantages of TCM and Chinese Herbs
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2006;0(02):-
Approaching an advantage in TCM and Chinese herbs, comparing the difference between them in many ways. TCM has macroscopic advantage and microcosmic disadvantage. Point out that only the theory of TCM be respected, the advantages of TCM can be kept.
7.Therapy effect of melatonin and hypothermia on hypoxic-ischemic brain damage
International Journal of Pediatrics 2011;38(2):105-107
Melatonin has neuroprotective effect on hypoxic-ischemic brain damage(HIBD), which easily crosses the blood-brain barrier and plays neuroprotective role in reducing oxidative damage. Melatonin may be effective in preventing learing diabilities. It has been suggested that melatonin soporific effect is secondary to its ability to induce hypothermia. Neuroprotective effect of hypothmia has been proved. Howere, it is clear that hypothemia will not provide complete protection of HIBD and melatonin might augment protection of hypothemia in HIBD.
8.Effect of recombinant human erythropoietin injection on the nutritional quality and cardiac function in the patients with maintenance hemodialysis
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2011;34(1):23-25
Objective To investigate the effect of recombinant human erythropoietin (rhEPO)injection on the nutritional quality and cardiac function in the patients with maintenance hemodialysis. Methods Sixty-two patients with chronic kidney failure were divided into two groups by random digits table:treatment group(46 patients, rhEPO injection therapy was given) and control group( 16 patients, without rhEPO injection therapy). The serum biochemical indexes and color sonography was respectively performed before and after the treatment. Results In treatment group, the cardiac function and the serum biochemical indexes improved obviously after 6 months' treatment (P < 0.05 ). But there was no change in control group. Conclusion The treatment with rhEPO injection can effectively improve the nutritional quality and cardiac function in the patients with maintenance hemodialysis, and improve life quality.
9.Peripheral iridotomy with combination of semiconductor laser 532 and YAG laser for primary angleclosure glaucoma
Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2010;09(11):791-792
Peripheral iridotomy using combination of semiconductor laser 532 and YAG laser was performed on 35 eyes of 29 patients. All procedures were performed successfully and there was no significant change in visual acuity after treatment. One week after treatment, the intraocular pressure was 6.99 - 20.08 mm Hg(0.93 -2.67 kPa). Peripheral anterior chamber angles were all widened, no acceleration of lens opacity was observed. Combination of semiconductor laser and YAG laser peripheral iridotomy are safe and effective for angle closure treatment and can be performed in community hospitals.
10.Helicobacter pylori infection and idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura in children
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(3):329-332
Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP) is characterized by platelet destruction which is mediated by auto-antibodies. Recent researches show that helicobacter pylori infection is correlated with part of FTP in adult. Eradication of helicobacter pylori infection has brought dramatically platelet elevation. It was reported that cross reaction played a very important part in the helicobacter related FTP, but the exact mechanism is still unknown, whether the FTP in children needs helicobacter pylori eradication is under debate.
