1.Ionizing radiation activates the HIF-lα-Survivin pathway in human lymphoma cells
Chinese Journal of Radiological Medicine and Protection 2012;32(3):274-277
Objective To determine the levels of radiation-induced expressions of HIF-1α and Survivin in three human lymphoma cell lines with or without HIF-1a specific antagonist or HIF-1a siRNA transfection and to explore the possible mechanism of cell radioresistance. Methods Namalwa,Ramos,Raji cells were irradiated with X-rays with or without the combination of echinomycin (EC),a HIF-1α specific inhibitor,or transfection of HIF-1α siRNA.Then the expression levels of HIF-1α and Survivin proteins and mRNAs were determined by Western blot and real-time PCR,respectively. Results After irradiation, the expression level of HIF-1α protein was up-regulated at 10-20 h followed by up-regulation of survivin protein at 24 h (t =7.53-31.31,P < 0.01 ) in three lymphoma cell lines.Radiation-induced up-expression of survivin protein was significantly reduced by either HIF-1α inhibition or EC treatment (t =7.21-32.81,P <0.01 ).However, radiation failed to induce up-erpression of survivin at both mRNA and protein levels after transfection with HIF-1α siRNA.Conclusion HIF-1α-Survivin pathway is activated in human lymphoma cells after radiation, which might be involved in the cell radioresistance.
2.Talking about the Advantages of TCM and Chinese Herbs
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2006;0(02):-
Approaching an advantage in TCM and Chinese herbs, comparing the difference between them in many ways. TCM has macroscopic advantage and microcosmic disadvantage. Point out that only the theory of TCM be respected, the advantages of TCM can be kept.
3.Relationship between Resistant Index and Ovarian Function after Radical Hysterectomy with Ovarian Transposition in Young Women with Cervical Cancer
Acta Medicinae Universitatis Scientiae et Technologiae Huazhong 2010;39(1):33-36
Objective To investigate the relation of resistant index and function of transposited ovaries following radical hysterectomy in young women with early stage of cervical cancer. Methods A total of 22 young women(aged from 26 to 40 years old)with early stage of cervical cancer(FIGO Ⅰ a or Ⅱ a)were studied from Aug.1997 to Sep.2004 in the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical Collage.Ovarian transposition was performed at the time of radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy in 12 cases who received postoperative radiotherapy;the rest 10 cases did not receive postoperative radiotherapy.Ovarian function was evaluated by serum FSH,LH,E_2 and B-ultrasonography in all of the cases. Results There was a statistically significant difference between the radiotherapy group and the non-radiotherapy group in serum E_2,FSH,LH levels and RI at the 24th month postoperatively.RI had a negative correlation with E_2 and positive correlation with FSH.Conclusion Ovarian transplantation can preserve the endocrine function of ovary for young women with cervical cancer.RI has a negative correlation with E_2 and positive correlation with FSH.RI is the important index of supervising ovarian function.Postoperative radiotherapy can influence RI and ovarian function.
6.The relationship between development of immune system and infection in preterm newborn
International Journal of Pediatrics 2012;39(5):466-468
The innate immune system is critical to protect against microorganisms, but it is immature.Preterm newborn have to stay longer in NICU.They are vulnerable to infections. The common pathogen is coagulase-negative staphylococci which is the most cause of mortality for preterm newborn. So it is the key to understand the interaction between innate immune system of preterm newborn and pathogen.
7.Anti-NMDAR-encephalitis in children
International Journal of Pediatrics 2013;40(5):481-485
Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor encephalitis (Anti-NMDAR-encephalitis) in children is a type of autoimmune encephalitis associated with NMDA receptor. Its etiology and clinical manifestations are specific in children. This disease is associated with teratoma more in adult than in children. However, its etiology is more associated with infection and heredity in children. The pathogenesis is that the anti-NMDAR-antibody can combine with NMDAR of neurons selectively and reversibly. The clinical manifestations include psychiatric syndrome, language, motor, sleep and autonomic nervous disorders.Tumor resection and immtmotherapy are chief treatments. This disorder is often misdiagnosed as it is rarely reported in children. It is valuable to make early diagnosis and treatment. This paper reviews the mechanism, clinical features, diagnosis and treatment of antiNMDAR-encephalitis of children.
8.Expression of serum TNF-α,IL-6 and MMP-9 in patients with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy and its significance
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;(23):3527-3528
Objective To explore the effect of the serum tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α),interleukin 6(IL-6)and matrix metalloproteinase 9(MMP-9)in the pathogenesis of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy(HDCP).Methods The serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and MMP-9 in 50 patients with HDCP and 20 normal pregnant women were detected by ELISA.Results The serum levels of TNF-α and IL-6 in HDCP group were higher than the control group(t=4.16,4.38,all P<0.05).The serum level of MMP-9 in HDCP group was lower than the control group(t=3.89,P<0.05).Negative correlation was observed between TNF-α,IL-6 and MMP-9 in HDCP group(r=-0.372,-0.328,all P<0.05).Conclusion The serum levels of TNF-α and IL-6 increased significantly, while the serum level of MMP-9 decreased.TNF-α,IL-6 and MMP-9 may play important roles in pathogenesis and development of HDCP.
9.The applicated value of Gui piperazine strange maleate in the treatment of patients with acute cerebral infarction
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2013;20(4):522-524
Objective To explore the influence of Gui piperazine strange maleate on the high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and S100B in the serum of patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods 90 patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into two groups, the control group(45 cases) and the treatment group (45 cases). The patients in the control group were treated through the conventional treatment, while the patients in the treatment group were treated plus Gui piperazine strange maleate. They were treated for fourteen days. The hs-CRP and S100B in the serum were detected before and after treatment. Results The total effective rates were 93.3% in the treatment group and 84.4% in the control group. There was a significant difference between two groups(x2 =4.0125,P < 0.05).The hs-CRP and S100B were decreased after treatment in both groups (all P < 0.05),and there was a significant difference between two groups after treatment (all P < 0.05).Conclusion Gui piperazine strange maleate can improve acute cerebral infarction through mitigating inflammation.
10.The relationship between KISS1-GPR54 gene and precocious puberty of children
International Journal of Pediatrics 2011;38(3):242-244
Precocious puberty in children begins with the increased pulsatile secretion of the gonadotrophin-releasing hormone(GnRH)from hypothalamic.Recently,KISS1-GPR54 Was found to be a key factor to regulate the secretion of GnRH and the onset of puberty.Kisspeptin interacts with its receptor GPR54.which expressed on the hypothalamic GnRH neurons.and affects GnRH pulsatile release and the onset of puberty.GPR54 gene mutation causes the incidence of GnRH-dependent precocious puberty.
