1.Self-efficacy training on fluid intake in maintenance hemodialysis patients

Objective To examine the effectiveness of self-efficacy training on fluid intake in maintenance hemodialysis patients.Methods Fifty-four hemodialysis patients participated in the study.The intervention was based on Bandura's self-efficacy theory.The outcome measure was self-efficacy for managing chronic disease,the mean interdialysis weight gain,dialysis-related complications and patient satisfaction.Data were collected at baseline and 3 months after the intervention.Results The mean score of selfefficacy,the mean interdialysis weight gain,dialysis-related complications and patient satisfaction after the intervention were all statistically significant compared with those bcfore the intervention.Conclusions The study supports the effectiveness of the self-efficacy training in improving the fluid intake compliance in maintenance hemodialysis patients.So it is worth being popularized in clinic.
2.The research about relationship among social support, coping styles and self-perceived burden of elderly patients with peritoneal dialysis

Objective To examine the status of self-perceived burden in patients with continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis and explore the relationships among social support,coping styles and self-perceived burden.Methods 103 elderly patients with peritoneal dialysis of outpatient follow-up were recruited.They were investigated using Self-Perceived Burden Scale,Social Support Rating Scale,and Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire.Results The total score of self-perceived burden was at a moderate level and the average score was (36.67±3.67).The total score of social support,the average score of positive coping and negative coping were (40.27±5.83),(1.69±0.26),(1.80±0.40),then the difference was statistically significant when compared with domestic norm (34.56±3.73),(1.78±0.52),(1.59±0.66) (P<0.05).The analysis found that self-perceived burden was negatively correlated with positive coping styles,social support and each dimension (r =-0.239,-0.668,-0.725,-0.252,-0.647,P<0.05).Conclusions Medical personnel should inspire elderly patients to make full use of social resources and guide them to take positive attitude to deal with dialysis event.It would help them maintain well psychological condition for a long time and reduce the self-perceived burden of patients.
3.Analysis of the quality of humanistic care for nursing students and its influencing factors

Objective:To investigate the quality of humanistic care for nursing students in Hebei province and to analyze its influencing factors.Methods:The humanistic care quality assessment scale of nursing students was designed and used as the research tool. A questionnaire survey was conducted among 2 693 nursing students from 11 medical colleges and universities in Hebei province and the results were analyzed. SPSS 21.0 was used for statistical analysis. Measurement data were expressed by (mean±standard deviation). The single factor analysis of variance and independent sample t-test were used for comparative study, and the multiple linear regression method was used to analyze the influencing factors. Results:The total Cronbach's coefficient of the scale was 0.966, and the Cronbach's coefficient of each dimension was 0.780-0.959, proving that the scale could be used. The data showed that the overall quality of humanistic care of nursing students in Hebei province was (119.70 ± 15.35), and the overall score rate was 85.50%. Among them, the comparison results of education background, grade, participation in volunteer activities, personality, the degree of concern of surrounding people, family atmosphere, and whether the teacher mentioned humanistic care were statistically significant ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The quality of humanistic care for nursing students in Hebei province is at a relatively high level. Colleges and universities can provide targeted education according to the current situation and influencing factors, create a good humanistic classroom atmosphere for nursing students, encourage nursing students to actively participate in humanistic practice, and improve the quality of humanistic care for nursing students.
4.Neglect among preschool non-only-child in urban area of Nantong City

Objective:
To understand the neglect status among preschool non-only-child in Nantong, and to provide theoretical basis for the prevention and intervention of non-only child neglect.
Methods:
Using the method of random cluster sampling, a total of 1 141 parents of children from 9 kindergartens in the main urban area of Nantong were investigated with National Neglect Norm Scale for Children aged 3 to 6 years.
Results:
The neglect rate of preschool children in Nantong City was 28.6%, with neglect score being (40.21±6.67). The neglect rate of non-only-child was 32.6%, with neglect score being (41.14±6.73). The total and physical neglect rate of non-only-child were higher than that of only child, and the total neglect score and physical, emotional, educational, safety, medical neglect dimensional scores were higher than that of only-child, the difference were all statistically significant ( χ 2/ t = 6.21, 17.57; 3.95, 4.98, 3.45, 2.70, 2.01, 3.11, P <0.05). In non-only-child, univariate analysis showed that there were no significant differences in neglect rate and scores among children by gender and family types ( P >0.05); There was no significant difference in the child neglect rate between different age groups and children in different families ( χ 2 =3.59, 2.99, P >0.05), but there was a statistically significant difference in the degree of neglect ( t=2.79, 3.04, P <0.05). The neglect rate and score of non-only-child with high level of family income, parental education and parental relationship was relatively low, while the neglect rate and score in non-only-child whose grandparents serving as primary caregiver were higher ( P <0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that family monthly income less than 5 000 yuan was associated with 2.73 times higher risk of neglect compared to children with family monthly income more than 12 000 yuan. The risk of neglect among children whose grandparents serving as caregivers was associated with 2.17 times higher than children with parental care. The risk of neglect of children with poor parental relationship was 2.29 times higher than that of children with good parental relationship ( P <0.05).
Conclusion
The neglect among preschool non-only-child in Nantong City is common. Improvement in family economic status, parental care and parent relationship might help reduce neglect among preschool non-only-child.
5.Inhibition of chromosomal region maintenance 1 suppresses the migration and invasion of glioma cells via inactivation of the STAT3/MMP2 signaling pathway

Chromosomal region maintenance 1 (CRM1) is associated with an adverse prognosis in glioma. We previously reported that CRM1 inhibition suppressed glioma cell proliferation both in vitro and in vivo. In this study, we investigated the role of CRM1 in the migration and invasion of glioma cells. S109, a novel reversible selective inhibitor of CRM1, was used to treat Human glioma U87 and U251 cells. Cell migration and invasion were evaluated by wound-healing and transwell invasion assays. The results showed that S109 significantly inhibited the migration and invasion of U87 and U251 cells. However, mutation of Cys528 in CRM1 abolished the inhibitory activity of S109 in glioma cells. Furthermore, we found that S109 treatment decreased the expression level and activity of MMP2 and reduced the level of phosphorylated STAT3 but not total STAT3. Therefore, the inhibition of migration and invasion induced by S109 may be associated with the downregulation of MMP2 activity and expression, and inactivation of the STAT3 signaling pathway. These results support our previous conclusion that inhibition of CRM1 is an attractive strategy for the treatment of glioma.

7.Analysis of correlation between childhood abuse and adolescent psychological capital

Objective:
To understand current situation and relations of childhood abuse and psychological capital, providing scientific basis for adolescent mental health promotion.
Methods:
Stratified cluster sampling method was used to select 1 894 students from junior high schools and senior high schools in Harbin. Questionnaire survey was conducted by using Childhood Trauma QuestionnaireShort Form (CTQ-SF) and Positive Psychological Capital (PPQ).
Results:
The total rate of childhood abuse among adolescents in the region was 98.3%. In addition to emotional abuse, scores of other dimensions of childhood abuse were higher for boys than for girls(P<0.01). Childhood abuse in rural area was higher than those in urban area except physical abuse(P<0.05). High psychological capital was observed among participants with boys higher in selfefficacy and resilience than that of girls(P<0.05). Psychological capital in urban students was higher than rural students(P<0.05). Except for the negative correlation between sexual abuse and resilience, all other dimensions of childhood abuse were negatively correlated with four dimensions of psychological capital. Stepwise regression analysis showed that emotional abuse, emotional neglect and physical neglect was negatively correlated with all dimensions of psychological capital(P<0.01); Sexual abuse showed negative association with selfefficacy and optimism(P<0.01).
Conclusion
Childhood abuse is closely related to psychological capital among adolescents in Harbin, suggesting exposure to childhood abuse might confer detrimental effects on psychological capital development.
8.Effect of LPS-induced M1 polarization of macrophages on tumor growth

Objective To study the effect of lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced M1 polarization of macrophages on tumor growth.Methods Female Balb/c mice were randomly divided into control group and experimental group.Renca cells were used to establish subcutaneous tumor model.NaCl(100μl/mice,once every two days)or LPS(100μg/mice,once every two days)was injected to the tumor side when the tumor grew to 50mm3.The M1 polarization level of tumor-associated macrophages was detected by flow cytometry.Mouse tumor cell lines(ML-1,MC38,Renca)were divided into three groups:blank group(complete medium with 50%DMEM basal medium),control group(complete medium with 50%medium supernatant of cultured macrophages)and experimental group(complete medium with 50%medium supernatant of LPS pretreated cultured macrophages).The proliferation of tumor cells was detected by cell counting kit-8(CCK-8).The cell cycle and apoptosis of tumor cells were detected by flow cytometry.Results The proportion of tumor-associated macrophages M1 increased after LPS treatment(P<0.001),thus enhancing its anti-tumor function.LPS-induced M1 polarization of macrophages can significantly inhibit the proliferation of tumor cells(Renca:P=0.023,ML-1:P=0.045).LPS-induced M1 polarization of macrophages blocked G0/G1 phase(MC38:P=0.011,ML-1:P=0.022)or S phase(Renca:P=0.022)of tumor cell cycle,and then cell division was inhibited.LPS-induced M1 polarization of macrophages significantly induced apoptosis of tumor cells(Renca:P=0.04,ML-1:P=0.007).Conclusion LPS can play an anti-tumor role by inducing M1 polarization of macrophages.
9.Analysis of quality control effect of physical examination institutions in Dalian based on interrupt time series

Objective:To assess the effects of intervention measures on the quality control of health examination institutions in Dalian City.Methods:This cross-sectional study encompassed a comprehensive evaluation of 40 physical examination institutions in Dalian City. Interrupted time series analysis was employed to examine the changes in level and slope of processing rates for significant abnormal health examination results, chief inspection physician qualification rates, and completion rates of basic health examination items before (January 2020 to July 2021) and after (August 2021 to July 2022) intervention. An interrupted time series analysis diagram was generated.Results:After the implementation of intervention measures, the processing rate of significant abnormal results in public physical examination institutions reached 93.52%, while the qualification rate of chief inspection physicians was as high as 98.86%. And completion rate of basic health examination items was 93.86%. The rates of handling important abnormal results in health check-ups at private healthcare institutions before intervention, 1 month after intervention, and long-term intervention showed an upward trend of 1.374%, 0.229%, and 0.664%, respectively ( t=8.61, 12.21, and 108.61, all P<0.05). The qualification rate of chief inspection physicians in public physical examination institutions exhibited an increase of 0.227% and 0.155% before and after the intervention respectively ( t=6.74 and 617.67, all P<0.05). The completion rates of basic health check-up items in public healthcare institutions showed an upward trend before intervention, 1 month after intervention, and long-term intervention, with a rate of 0.446%, 0.067%, and 0.745%, respectively ( t=24.95, 3.25, 138.80, all P<0.05). Conclusions:The implementation of quality control intervention measures for health check-ups has significantly improved the quality control of health examination institutions in Dalian City.
10.Network pharmacological analysis and in vitro experimental verification based on anti-atherosclerosis mechanism of Xiaoban Tongmai Formula

Objective:To preliminarily predict the potential pathways and targets of Xiaoban Tongmai Formula in anti-atherosclerosis(AS)by network pharmacology analysis,and to verify its possible mechanism combined with in vitro cell experiment.Method:The databases including Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform(TCMSP),GeneCards,Swiss Target Prediction,and Uniprot were used to collect the information on active compounds and corresponding targets of Xiaoban Tongmai Formula to construct the"compound-target-disease"network.The potential targets and pathways were predicted by protein-protein interaction(PPI)network,and the intersection targets were subjected to Gene Ontology(GO)functional enrichment analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway enrichment analysis.The human aortic vascular smooth muscle cells(HA-VSMCs)were cultured and identified in vitro,and the abnormal proliferation of HA-VSMCs were induced by oxidized low-density lipoprotein(ox-LDL)and identified;MTT method was used to detect the proliferation activities of the HA-VSMCs in various groups after treated with different concentrations of Xiaoban Tongmai Formula;the safety of Xiaoban Tongmai Fang was confirmed.The HA-VSMCs were divided into blank group,model group(the abnormal proliferation of HA-VSMCs was induced),rosuvastatin group(treated with 4 μmol·L-1 rosuvastatin after inducing the abnormal proliferation of HA-VSMCs),and low,medium,and high doses of Xiaoban Tongmai Formula groups(treated with 0.025,0.050,and 0.100 mng·L-1 Xiaoban Tongmai Formula after inducing the abnormal proliferation of HA-VSMCs);enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to detect the levels of monocyte chemotactic protein-1(MCP-1),interleukin-6(IL-6),and interleukin-8(IL-8)in supernatant of the HA-VSMCs in various groups;real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR)method was used to detect the expression levels of nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB)p65 mRNA and fibroblast growth factors 2(FGF2)mRNA in the HA-VSMCs in various groups;Western blotting method was used to detect the expression levels of NF-κB p65 and FGF2 proteins in the HA-VSMCs in various groups.Results:Xiaoban Tongmai Formula contained 103 active ingredients that exert anti-AS effect by acting on 189 target genes.The potential targets included IL-6,IL-8,vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGFA),nuclear factor kappa B1(NF-κB1),and RELA(NF-κB p65).The GO functional analysis and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis results showed that Xiaoban Tongmai Formula exerted anti-AS effects by regulating lipid metabolism,hypoxia-inducible factor-1(HIF-1),epidermal growth factor(EGF),phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K)/protein kinase B(Akt),and NF-κB signaling pathways.The cell morphology and immunofluorescence staining results confirmed that the cells were HA-VSMCs.The oil red O staining results showed numerous red lipid droplets,indicating successful modeling.The MTT assay results showed that Xiaoban Tongmai Formula had no significant effect on the proliferation rate of HA-VSMCs within a certain dose range,indicating good safety.The ELISA results showed that compared with model group,the levels of MCP-1 and IL-6 in supernatant of the HA-VSMCs in rosuvastatin group and different doses of Xiaoban Tongmai Formula groups were decreased(P<0.05 or P<0.01),and the levels of IL-8 in supernatant of the HA-VSMCs in 0.050 and 0.100 mg·L-1 Xiaoban Tongmai Formula groups were decreased(P<0.01);compared with rosuvastatin group,the levels of MCP-1 in supernatant of the HA-VSMCs in different doses of Xiaoban Tongmai Formula groups were decreased(P<0.01),and the levels of IL-8 in supernatant of the HA-VSMCs in 0.050 and 0.100 mg·L-1 Xiaoban Tongmai Formula groups were decreased(P<0.01).Compared with model group,the expression levels of NF-κB p65 mRNA in the HA-VSMCs in rosuvastatin group and different doses of decreased(P<0.01);compared with rosuvastatin group,the expression levels of NF-κB p65 protein in the HA-VSMCs in 0.050 and 0.100 mg·L-1 Xiaoban Tongmai Formula groups were decreased(P<0.01),and the expression level of FGF2 protein in the HA-VSMCs in 0.100 mg·L-1 Xiaoban Tongmai Formula group was decreased(P<0.01).Conclusion:Xiaoban Tongmai Formula has anti-inflammatory effect,inhibitory effect on the proliferation of HA-VSMCs,and anti-AS effect,and its mechanism may be related to the inactivation of NF-κB/FGF2 pathway.
