1.Level of Plasma Polyunsaturated Fatty Acid in Autism

Objective To explore the level of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) in blood plasma and its relation with the behavior ofchildren with autism. Methods High performance liquid chromatography was used to measure the level of free PUFAs of blood plasma in30 autistic children and 20 healthy children. Conner's Parent Rating Scale (parents) and the Repetitive Behavior Scale-Revised (RBS-R) RatingScale were used to evaluate the behavior of the children, and the relationship between the PUFAs level and abnormal behavior in the childrenwas also analyzed. Results The level of α-linolenic acid (ALA), docosahexenoic acid (DHA) and total n-3 PUFAs were lower in autisticchildren than in healthy children (P<0.05), especially lower in DHA (P<0.01). There was no significant difference in n-3 PUFAs betweentwo groups (P>0.05); There were negatively correlations between the level of DHA and total n-3 PUFAs in blood plasma and impulsion-hyperactivity,hyperactivity index, learning, anxiety, stereotypic behavior, self-injurious behavior, compulsions, ritualistic behavior and samenessbehavior. Conclusion The level of n-3 PUFAs in blood plasma of autistic children was lower than the healthy children and the level ofPUFAs were correlated with the behavior of autistic children.
2.Study on the Interaction between Cisplatin and Bovine Serum Albumin by Fluorescent Spectrometry

Objective:To study the interaction between cisplatin and bovine serum albumin ( BSA) under the simulated human physiological condition. Methods:The interaction mechanism of BSA and cisplatin was investigated by fluorescent spectrometry; the binding constant, binding site and interaction force were studied, and the interaction effects on the conformation change of BSA were investigated as well. Results:The results of fluorescent spectrometry showed that a ground state complex was formed between cisplatin and BSA, and the mechanism of fluorescence quenching was static quenching. The binding parameters of cisplatin and BSA were as follows:the binding constant was 1. 36 × 104 L·mol-1 , the binding site was 0. 991, and the interaction was mainly driven by hydrogen bonds and Van Der Waals forces. The results of synchronous fluorescent spectrometry demonstrated that the interaction influenced the micro-environments of amide acid residues. Conclusion:Cisplatin can interact with BSA and change the conformation of BSA.

CMTM family is silenced and down-regulated in several kinds of tumors.Its aberrant expression has a strong association with the development,progression and metastasis of tumors.Thus,CMTM family is potential tumor suppressor genes.Epigenetics mechanism is the essential mechanism of the aberrant expression in this gene family.The discovery of this research gives a new direction to the clinical treatment of tumor.
4.Application and Assessment of CT Scanning in Percutaneous Pulmonary Valve Implantation

Objective: To assess the application value of CT scanning in percutaneous pulmonary valve implantation (PPVI). Methods: A total of 19 patients with severe pulmonary regurgitation planed to receive PPVI in our hospital from 2014-05 to 2016-07 were studied. CT scan and transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) were conducted to collect the data of pulmonary root anatomy and to compare the difference of pulmonary annulus size measured by CT and TTE. The accuracy of pre-operative measurement was evaluated by the follow-up study at (1-26) months after the operation. Results: In all 19 patients, the mean anatomic measurements by CT were as follows: diameter of pulmonary annulus (24.3±3.5) mm, diameter of pulmonary sinotubular junction (25.4±4.0) mm, diameter at distal of main pulmonary artery (27.5±4.8) mm, diameter of right ventricular outflow tract (36.8±7.3) mm, length of main pulmonary artery (45.5±7.0) mm, diameter of left pulmonary artery (17.9±1.5) mm and diameter of right pulmonary artery (18.5±3.6) mm. The diameter of pulmonary annulus measured by CT was larger than TTE, P<0.05. During (1-26) months follow-up period, no patients suffered from stent fracture or translocation, peri-pulmonary valve regurgitation, obvious pulmonary regurgitation or coronary stenosis; 1 patient had increased flow rate at right pulmonary artery opening by stent blocking and 2 patients had residue mild stenosis of pulmonary valve. Conclusion: Pulmonary annulus size measured by CT and TTE was different; CT may precisely assess the morphology of pulmonary root with adjacent area which is important for pre-operative evaluation in PPVI patients.

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are a class of non-coding transcripts which are greater than 200 nucleotides in length and have a variety of biological functions. Studies have found that lncRNAs play an important role in the development of gastrointestinal cancers and can affect tumor cell growth, angiogenesis, metastasis and drug resistance. This paper has reviewed lncRNAs associated with gastrointestinal cancers and explored their roles in the occurrence, diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal cancers.

6.Immunohistochemical expression of TRPS1 in synovial sarcoma and its significance

Purpose To investigate the expression of TRPS1 in synovial sarcoma(SS)and its significance.Methods Twenty-one cases of synovial sarcoma diagnosed by SS1 8(18q11)(SYT)fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH)or SS18-SSX immunohistochemistry were collected.The expression of TRPS1 was detected by immunohistochemistry EnVision two-step staining,and the relevant literature was reviewed.Results There were 21 cases of synovial sarcoma,including 9 females and 12 males,aged 17-79 years,with a median age of 50 years and an average age of 47.1 years.The tumors occurred in the lung(3 cases),legs(3 cases),kidney(3 cases),feet(2 cases),psoas major muscle(2 cases),rectum(1 case),tho-racic cavity(1 case),ankle canal(1 case),inguinal area(1 case),knee(1 case),palm(1 case),nasal cavity(1 case),and forearm(1 case).The maximum diameter of the tumor was 1.2-13 cm.Grossly,the tumor section was grayish-white,grayish-yellowish solid,and the lesion with hemorrhage was dark red.Microscopically,there were monophasic fibrous SS(16/21,76.2%),poorly differential SS(small cell)(3/21,14.3%),and biphasic SS(2/21,9.5%).Immunophenotypi-cally,tumor cells expressed SS18-SSX(18/18,100%),TLE1(12/12,100%),BCL2(18/18,100%),partially expressed EMA(10/16,62.5%),CK(12/18,66.7%),CD99(4/10,40.0%),SMA(3/16,18.6%),S-100(3/19,15.8%),and desmin(0/21).The proliferation index of Ki67 ranged from 3%-80%,with an average of 39.9%.FISH test showed that all 11 cases were positive for SS18(18q11)split-ting.All 21 cases of SS expressed TRPS1 to varying degrees and intensities(21/21,100%),of which 19 cases(19/21,90.5%)had a positive range of>50%.There were 19 cases(19/21,90.5%)with a positive intensity of 2+or above.All the 21 patients underwent surgical resection of the tumor,and 20 patients received follow-up visits.3 patients treated with postop-erative combination of radiotherapy and chemotherapy,18 pa-tients treated with postoperative chemotherapy,and 7 patients showed different degrees of recurrence or metastasis,and 9 pa-tients who received follow-up visits died(45%,9/20).Con-clusion Although TRPS1 is regarded as a highly sensitive and specific marker of breast tumor origin,it is also highly expressed in synovial sarcoma,and it is necessary to be vigilant at its pit-falls in the pathological diagnosis.

Objective:
To evaluate the outcomes and prognostic factors of myelodysplasia syndrome (MDS) patients who received allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) .
Methods:
165 cases of MDS who underwent allo-HSCT from Jan. 2010 to Mar. 2018 were analyzed retrospectively, focusing on the overall survival (OS) , disease free survival (DFS) , relapse, non-relapse mortality (NRM) and their related risk factors.

Objective To analyze the correlation between the drug resistance rate of common pathogens in blood culture of inpatients from the First Hospital Affiliated to Hebei North University from 2019 to 2021 and the frequency of antimicrobial drug use(DDDs).Methods Strains isolated from positive blood cultures of inpatients from 2019 to 2021 were collected,and data on antimicrobial drug use in patients with positive blood cultures during the same period were also collected.WHONET 5.6 software and Pearson correlation analysis were used to explore the correlation between pathogenic bacterial resistance rate and antimicrobial DDDs.Results A total of 916 samples tested positive in blood cultures from 2019 to 2021.Among the top antimicrobial drugs in DDDs,the DDDs of cefazolin,cefuroxime,and ceftazidime all showed an upward trend year by year(the increase from 2019 to 2021 was 38.8%,228.3%,and 87.1%,respectively).A total of 739 pathogenic bacteria strains were isolated from positive blood culture samples from 2019 to 2021,and the top five pathogenic bacteria were Escherichia coli,Klebsiella pneumoniae,Staphylococcus epidermidis,Staphylococcus aureus,and Pseudomonas aeruginosa,accounting for 37.2%,16.1%,8.1%,7.4%,and 6.5%,respective-ly.The drug resistance rates of Escherichia coli to cefazolin,ceftazidime,cefotaxime,and polymyxin B were positively correlated with their DDDs(r=0.961,0.907,0.988,0.997,P<0.05).The drug resistance rates of Klebsiella pneumoniae to piperacillin,cefazolin,cefotaxime,cefepime,az-treonam,imipenem,meropenem,levofloxacin,and polymyxin B were positively correlated with their DDDs(r=0.766,0.772,0.838,0.667,0.734,0.821,0.904,0.980,0.997,P<0.05).The drug resistance rate of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to gentamicin was positively correlated with their DDDs(r=0.878,P<0.05).The drug resistance rate of Acinetobacter baumannii to moxi-floxacin was positively correlated with its DDDs(r=0.856,P<0.05).However,there was no corre-lation between the drug resistance rates of Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis to most commonly used antimicrobial drugs and antimicrobial DDDs(P>0.05).Conclusion The patho-genic bacteria causing bloodstream infections in inpatients at the First Hospital Affiliated to Hebei North University from 2019 to 2021 are complex and diverse(mainly Gram-negative bacteria).The overall drug resistance rate of pathogenic bacteria shows an upward trend,and there is a correlation between the drug resistance rates of most pathogenic bacteria and antimicrobial DDDs.

Objective:
To evaluate the outcomes of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) patients who received HLA-matched sibling donor allogeneic peripheral blood stem cell transplantation (MSD-PBSCT) .
Methods:
The clinical data of 138 MDS patients received MSD-PBSCT from Sep. 2005 to Dec. 2017 were retrospectively analyzed, and the overall survival (OS) rate, disease-free survival (DFS) rate, relapse rate (RR) , non-relapse mortality (NRM) rate and the related risk factors were explored.
Results:
①After a median follow-up of 1 050 (range 4 to 4 988) days, the 3-year OS and DFS rates were (66.6±4.1) % and (63.3±4.1) %, respectively. The 3-year cumulative incidence of RR and NRM rates were (13.9±0.1) % and (22.2±0.1) %, respectively. ②Univariate analysis showed that patients with grade Ⅲ-Ⅳ acute graft-versus-host disease (aGVHD) or hematopoietic cell transplantation comorbidity index (HCT-CI) ≥2 points or patients in very high-risk group of the Revised International Prognostic Scoring System (IPSS-R) had significantly decreased OS[ (42.9±13.2) %
