Objective To evaluate the MRI features of osteosarcoma.Methods 38 cases of osteosarcoma proved pathologically were retrospectively analyzed.All of them were examined by plain MRI scan,25 cases were examined by enhanced scan.Results The diagnostic accuracy of osteosarcoma of MRI was 93.9%.There were 30 cases of the extension into the medullary cavity,18 cases of soft tissue mass,10 cases of the destruction in epiphysis and 4 cases of the invasion in articular cartilage,especially T2 weighted STIR image and enhanced MRI scans were advantageous in showing the images mentioned above and in judging of the change after treated.Conclusion MRI is very important in diagnosis and clinical therapy of osteosarcoma.

Objective To investigate the clinicopathologic features and imaging findings of several kinds of rare and uncommon brain embryonal tumours. Methods MRI or CT appearance and clinicopathologic features in 10 eases of histopathology confirmed brain embryonal tumours were retrospectively analyzed.Results Among 10 cases,there were supratentorial primitive neuroectodermal tumour(sPNET) in 6,ependymoblastoma in 2,medulloepithelioma and atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumour (AT/RT)in 1 respectively.Patients in 4 cases were infancy and childhood.There was characteristic of the clinicopathologic features of tumors that were the evidence of accurate diagnosis. All lesions were located in the supratentorial region.The tumors were large,usually lobulated in shape irregularly and showed heterogeneous density or signal intensity with some cystic and necrotic areas.The tumors parenchyma appeared slightly high density on CT imaging,iso-or high signal on T2WI and slight low signal on T1WI with intense enhancement after contrast injection.Conclusion MRI or CT findings of rare and uncommon brain embryonal tumours were not characteristic,it Was very essential to know the tumors combined with the clinical and pathologic features.

Objective To investigate the expressions of transforming growth factor-?1(TGF-?1)and ?-smooth muscle actin(?-SMA)in the lungs of mice with intra-amniotic endotoxin priming and exposed to 60% hyperoxia after born in order to elucidate the possible relationship with bronchopulmonary dysplasia(BPD).MethodsFifty C57 pregnant mice were divided into 2 groups:lipopolysaccharide(LPS,40 ?g/L)group and saline solution group,and then received an intra-amniotic injection of corresponding solution on E15.The neonatal mice of each group were randomized to be set in 60% oxygen exposure or in room air.So there were 4 subgroups,LPS+air,LPS+hyperoxia,saline+air and saline+hyperoxia groups.On days 1,3,7,10 and 14 after birth(8 rats each time point),the lung histological changes was assessed with hematoxylin and eosin(HE)staining for radial alveolar counting(RAC).The expressions of TGF-?1 and ?-SMA proteins were detected by immunohistochemical and immunofluorescence staining,and the expressions of TGF-?1 and ?-SMA mRNA by real-time polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).ResultsIn the LPS+hyperoxia group and saline+hyperoxia group,RAC began to decrease on day 3,and then further declined in a time-dependent manner.Compared with saline+hyperoxia group,LPS+hyperoxia group had significantly lower RAC(P

Objective To investigate the serum IL-33 level and its association with TH1,TH2,TH17 and Treg cells in patients with unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion(URSA).Methods Forty-six URSA patients and 40 healthy controls were enrolled.The proportions of TH1,TH2,TH17 and Treg cells in peripheral blood samples were determined by flow cytometry,and serum IL-33 levels by ELISA.Results The levels of serum IL-33 in URSA patients were significantly lower than that in healthy controls.The proportions of TH2 and Treg cells in URSA patients were significantly lower than that in healthy controls (P ＜ 0.05),while the proportions of TH 1 and TH 17 cells in URSA patients were significantly higher than that in healthy controls.Serum IL-33 levels were negatively correlated with the proportions of TH 1 and TH17 cells,and positively with that of TH2 cells,while no correlation with Treg cells.Conclusion Serum IL-33 levels decrease significantly in URSA patients,and are correlated with the proportions of TH1,TH2 and TH17 cells,indicating that IL-33 may be associated with TH1,TH2 and TH17 cells in URSA patients.

We conducted purification of filamentous temperature-sensitive protein Z of Streptococcus suis serotype 2 (S.suis 2) and measured its GTPase activity.The ftsz gene in the genome of the Chinese 05ZYH33 strain of S.suis 2 was successfully amplified using PCR,and then the ftsz gene was cloned into prokaryotic expression plasmid pET28a,and the recombinant plasmid pET28a-ftsz was transformed into E.coli BL21.After induction by IPTG,the isolated FtsZ protein was analyzed with SDS-PAGE.Then the recombinant protein was purified by Ni2+-NTA affinity chromatography.The rabbit serum was harvested after immunization with recombinant FtsZ protein,and was analyzed by indirect ELISA and Western blotting.The GTPase activity of FtsZ was measured with the malachite green method.Results showed that successfully constructed recombinant plasmid pET28a-ftsz and the recombinant protein with high purity was obtained;Western blot result indicated that FtsZ could react with the His-tag antibody and the rabbit serum;the polyclonal antibody titer of the rabbit serum reached 1 ∶ 13 107 200;FtsZ have GTPase activity.We successfully prepared S.suis 2 recombinant protein FtsZ having GTPase activity and high titer antiserum would be useful for the further study of S.suis 2 cell division mechanism.

Objective: To discuss the subjects of Chinese geriatrics in recent ten years by analyzing the keywords of Chinese Journal of Geriatrics. Methods: Subjects and subject network(subject-specific network)of Chinese geriatrics were built by the statistical analysis and complex network method based on the analysis of keywords in Chinese Journal of Geriatrics from 2007 to 2018. Results: In recent ten years, 3808 articles were published in Chinese Journal of Geriatrics with a total of 4467 keywords.The keywords frequency was 1 in 3284 keywords.Keywords frequency was not less than 20 in 79 keywords, which was published in two-thirds of all published articles.The keywords frequency was not less than 10 in 186 keywords, which was published in 80% of all published articles, forming an interrelated thematic network. Conclusions Subjects of Chinese geriatrics have a diversity and relative centrality, and correlations between the subjects are the complexly interdisciplinary subject network.

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of oxycodone combined with dexmedetomidine in the postoperative analgesia in the patients underwent laparoscopic radical surgery of colon cancer.Methods:Sixty colon cancer patients underwent laparoscopic radical surgery and recevied patient-controlled intravenous analgesia after operation were randomly divided into control group and experiment group (n=30)using The "Envelope Method". The patients in control group were given 0.5 mg·kg-1 oxycodone,and the patients in experiment group were given 0.5 mg·kg-1 oxycodone and 2 μg·kg-1 dexmedetomidine.The parameters of analgesic pump in two groups were set as follows:the continuous perfusion rate was 1 mL·h-1 ,the single bolus was 1.5 mL,the lock-out time was 10 min,and the total volume was 100 mL.The VAS scores of pain at rest and activity pain of the patients in two groups were evaluated at exiting the post anesthesia care unit (T1 ),and at 6 h (T2 ),12 h (T3 ),24 h (T4 )and 48 h (T5 )after operation.The dose of analgesic drugs used,times of emergent rescue analgesia and anus exhaust time after operation of the patients in two groups were recorded;the postoperative adverse responses,vital signs and Ramsay scores of the patients in two groups were observed.Results:The VAS scores of activity pain at T2 -T5 and pain at rest at T2 -T4 of the patients in experiment group (P T2-T5 =0.000;P T2 =0.018,P T3 =0.001,P T4 =0.010)were lower than those in control group;the doses of analgesic drugs used and times of emergent rescue analgesia of the patients in experiment group were significantly lower than those in control group (P =0.000,P =0.029);the anus exhaust time after operation was significantly earlier than that in control group (P =0.030);the cases of nausea of the patients in experiment group were significantly lower than that in control group (P =0.023), and there were no significantly differences in the other various adverse effects of the patients between two groups (P >0.05).Conclusion: Oxycodone combined with dexmedetomidine is effective and safe for the postoperative analgesia after laparoscopic radical surgery of colon cancer.

Objective To explore the level of inflammatory factors and their correlation with prognosis in chronic cervicitis patients with human papillomavirus(HPV)infection.Methods Totally 100 patients from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the observation group.Among them,67 patients were 100 patients with low-risk HPV and 33 patients with high-risk HPV.At the same time,100 female personnel with physical examination in our hospital were selected as the control group.All of the patients were treated routinely.The C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin(IL)-6,and serum amyloid A(SAA)levels were measured,and the patients were followed up for 6 months after treatment to observe the prognosis.Results Compared with the control group,The expression of CRP,IL-6 and SAA level increased in the observation group(P<0.05),Compared with the low-risk HPV group,The expression of CRP,IL-6 and SAA level increased in high-risk HPV group(P<0.05).Compared with patients with a good prognosis,Higher expression of CRP,IL-6 and SAA in patients with poor prognosis(P<0.05).The positive correlation between CRP,IL-6,SAA and low-risk HPV and high-risk HPV,Statistical difference(P<0.05).Negative correlation between CRP,IL-6,SAA and good prognosis,All showed a positive correlation between CRP,IL-6,and SAA and poor prognosis,There were statistical differences(P<0.05).Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis showed that the diagnostic value of CRP,IL-6 and SAA(P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with chronic cervicitis have increased CRP,IL-6 and SAA in HPV infection,and the abnormal increased or decreased expression level is the risk predictor of chronic cervicitis with HPV infection,which may be closely related to the diagnosis of the disease,pathological characteristics,disease development and prognosis.

Objective: To assess the awareness and associated factors of wild mushroom poisoning among students in Guizhou Province, so as to provide a scientific foundation for wild mushroom poisoning prevention and control among students. Methods: By a multi stage stratified cluster random sampling method, 1 162 students from Guizhou Province were selected in May 2024. The questionnaire survey was administered to evaluate knowledge regarding wild mushroom poisoning. Data were analyzed employing the χ 2 test and Logistic regression model. Results: Among the nine questions assessing awareness of wild mushroom poisoning, only three had the awareness rate exceeding 70%. Binary Logistic regression analysis revealed that students who "actively learn about the prevention of wild mushroom poisoning" ( OR=0.48, 95%CI =0.26-0.92) and "spread knowledge about wild mushroom poisoning to others" ( OR=0.47, 95%CI =0.33-0.69) scored higher on the wild mushroom poisoning knowledge questions ( P <0.05). Conversely, students with a habit of consuming wild mushrooms ( OR=1.52, 95%CI =1.15-2.02) scored lower ( P < 0.05 ). 42.3% of the students suggested that scientific dissemination and publicity about wild mushrooms should be intensified. Conclusions The awareness rate of wild mushroom poisoning knowledge among students in Guizhou Province requires further attention. Comprehensive knowledge should be disseminated systematically through various channels to further improve students awareness of the prevention and control of wild mushroom poisoning.

Objective To investigate the clinico-pathological features and renal outcomes of primary IgA nephropathy (IgAN) with glomerular IgM deposition.Methods Primary IgAN diagnosed with biopsy from January 2006 to December 2011 were recruited.Patients were divided into groups according to IgM deposition (Group A) and without IgM deposition (Group B).In addition,Group A was subdivided into two groups based on the position of IgM deposits as the mesangium (Group A1) and both mesangium and capillary wall (Group A2).Renal outcomes were defined as end stage renal disease (ESRD) and/or the doubling of baseline serum creatinine.Clinico-pathological features were retrospectively compared.Kaplan-Meier was conducted for renal outcomes,and Cox regression model was used to analyze the prognostic value of IgM deposition and the position of IgM deposition in the progression of nephropathy in IgAN patients.Results 939 patients were enrolled with 422 (44.9％) having IgM deposition (Group A).Of the 422 patients,382 patients were divided as Group A 1,whereas 40 patients were noted as Group A2.Compared to Group B,hemoglobin,serum protein,albumin and serum IgG levels in group A were significantly lower,and the cholesterol and serum IgM levels were significantly higher (all P ＜ 0.05).There was no significant difference in serum creatinine,estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR),urinary protein,blood pressure and uric acid between group A and B.In terms of pathological manifestations,patients in Group A exhibited more severe histological lesions including glomerular sclerosis,S1,M1 and interstitial inflammatory cell infiltration (all P＜0.05).Immunofluorescence showed that the proportion of IgG,C1q and Fg deposition in group A was significantly higher than that in group B (all P ＜ 0.05).By Kaplan-Meier,cumulative renal survival rate has no significant difference between Group A and B (Log-rank test x2=0.019,P=0.891).Univariate and muhivariable Cox regression analysis showed that IgM deposition had no significant effect on the renal progression in IgAN patients.Subgroup analysis showed that patients in Group A2 exhibited higher urine protein,creatinine and blood pressure,and lower eGFR and serum albumin,also had worse histological lesions including M1,E1 and T1-2 of Oxford classification (all P＜0.05),Immunofluorescencc showed that the proportion of IgG,C1q and Fg deposition in group A2 was significantly higher than that in group A1 (all P ＜ 0.05).By Kaplan-Meier,renal survival rates calculated from outcomes were lower in Group A2 (Log-rank test x2=1 8.207,P ＜ 0.001).In addition,IgM deposited both in the mesangium and capillary wall was a risk factor for renal progression of IgAN patients with IgM deposition by a univariate Cox hazards regression mode and multivariable-adjusted Cox models (HR=3.621,95％CI 1.924-6.814,P＜ 0.001;HR=2.309,95％CI 1.176-4.533,P=0.015respectively).Conclusions The IgAN patients with IgM deposition relatively had more severe clinicopathological changes,especially those with IgM deposited both in the mesangium and capillary wall.In this study,IgM deposition was not found to be an independent risk factor for the prognosis of kidney in IgAN patients.However,IgM deposited both in the mesangium and capillary wall was an independent risk factor for renal prognosis in IgAN patients with IgM deposition.
