Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2014;(11):1023-1026
Objective To investigate the rural medical orientation undergraduate student's professional commitment, time management disposition and learning burnout and the relationship between them. Methods Use the college students' learning Burnout scale, adolescence time management disposition Questionnaire and College Students'professional commitment scale, survey of Xinxiang Medical University grade 2010 ~2012,739 valid ques?tionnaires, the questionnaire has 92. 61% efficiency. Results Three scores were normally distribution. Learning burnout was the medium level, the average score of each entry was 2.88±0.45,and moderate and above level learn?ing burnout ratio was 45.06%. The average score of time management disposition was 3.45±0.43. Professional com?mitment level was higher, the average score was 3.82±0.43 for each item. Affective commitment, ideal commitment, the sense of time efficacy and the sense of time control have entered on the learning burnout of the stepwise regres?sion equation, and four variables together explained 44.0% of the variance in the dependent variable. Time manage?ment disposition, the professional commitment and learning burnout were negatively correlated, but between time management disposition and professional commitment is positively related, professional commitment, the variance explained by variables of learning burnout was 30.12%. Conclusion The rural medical orientation of undergradu?ate students time management disposition are important factors of learning burnout, which has the forecast function to the learning burnout. Professional commitment is part of the intermediary variables.

Objective To investigate the effect of rosiglitazone on serum HMGB1,TNF-αand Th1/Th2 in patients with lung injury induced by sepsis. Methods 60 patients with sepsis lung injury in our hospital from August 2013 to August 2014, were randomly divided into experimental group and control group according to the medication methods, 30 cases in each group, control group was given conventional western medicine treatment, including intensive care, gastrointestinal decompression, fasting water, added blood volume, anti-inflammatory, maintenance of water and electrolyte balance, improve microcirculation, etc.On the basis of control group, experimental group was treated with rosiglitazone, two times per day, two weeks as a course of treatment.Serum HMGB1, TNF-α, Th1/Th2 were detected in 1, 3, 7, 14 days in all patients.ResuIts Compared with control group post-treatment,serum HMGB1,TNF-αand Th1/Th2 ratio were significantly decreased in the experimental group (P<0.05).ConcIusion Rosiglitazone can significantly reduce the levels of serum HMGB1,TNF-αand Th1/Th2.

reression of M 2 receptor mRNA of rat myocardium intoxicated by soman under high altitude hypoxia. Methods The expressions of M 2 receptor mRNA under hypoxia, soman intoxication and soman intoxication under hypoxia were detected by semi quantitative RT PCR, respectively. Results The expression of M 2 receptor mRNA increased in the high altitude hypoxia group. Both simple soman intoxication and combined soman intoxication and hypoxia decreased the expression of M 2 receptor rapidly. But under hypoxia, the expression increased significantly at 12 h and 24 h. Conclusion M 2 receptor was sensitive to nerve agents. Compared to simple soman intoxication group, the expression of M 2 receptor increased in combined soman intoxication and hypoxia group. This may be one of the major factors leading to aggravation of the injury of heart function by nerve agents in high altitude area.

Objective To explore the correlative factors and management of secondary high intraocular pressure(IOP) after vitreoretinal surgery for proliferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR). Methods The data of 51 patients(54 eyes) with PDR after vitreoretinal surgery were collected. The incidence of secondary high IOP was obtained, and the correlative factors leading to high IOP were analysed.Besides, the therapeutic effects of management were observed. Results Twenty-six patients(26 eyes) experienced postoperative high IOP,with the incidence of 48.15%(26/54).It was revealed that the preoperative retinal detachment, the combined performance of crystal phacoemulsification, the practice of intraocular tamponade and the postoperative posterioruveitis were related to the occurrence of high IOP(P

Sodium houttuyfonate (SH) is a derivative of effective component of a Chinese material medica, Houttuynia cordata, which is applied in anti-infection of microorganism. But, the antimicrobial mechanisms of SH still remain unclear. Here, we firstly discovered that SH effectively inhibits the three types of virulence related motility of.Pseudomonas aeruginosa, i.e., swimming, twitching and swarming. The plate assay results showed that the inhibitory action of SH against swimming and twitching in 24 h and swarming in 48 h is dose-dependent; and bacteria nearly lost all of the motile activities under the concentration of 1 x minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) (512 mg x L(-1) same as azithromycin positive group (1 x MIC, 16 mg x L(-1)). Furthermore, we found that the expression of structural gene flgB and pilG is down-regulated by SH, which implies that inhibitory mechanism of SH against motility of P. aeruginosa may be due to the inhibition of flagella and pili bioformation of P. aeruginosa by SR Therefore, our presented results firstly demonstrate that SH effectively inhibits the motility activities of P. aeruginosa, and suggest that SH could be a promising antipseudomonas agents in clinic.

Objective To investigate the suppression effects of Tripotolide (TL) on the pancreatic cancer xenograft models and angiogenesis. Methods The growth suppression effect of TL on SW1990 was determined using cell count kit (CCK-8), apoptotic cells induced by TL were examined by morphology and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated nick end labeling (TUNEL) assay. The inhibitory effects of TL on the growth of tumor xenografts and tumor microvascular density (MVD) were investigated. ResultsTL inhibited the growth and proliferation of SW1990 cells in a concentration-dependent and time-dependent manner. The inhibition ratios of cells treated at 160 mg/ml TL for 24 h was 50. 6%, the apoptotic rate increased from 9.6% in the control group to 45.1% (P <0.01 ). The inhibition rate of cancer xenograft growth was 89.9% when TL was intratumorally injected at the dose of 0.5 mg/kg. The expression of VEGF in tumor tissue decreased while MVD also decreased from 36.25±8.64 to 9.87±3.34 (P <0.01 ). ConclusionsTL induced prominent growth inhibition and apoptosis in human pancreatic cancer cell lines. TL.can attenuate the growth of pancreatic caner xenografts through its effect on antiangiogenesis.

Objective To compare complications of ureteroneocystostomy and end-to-end ureteroureterostomy after kidney transplantation. Methods Eighty allograft renal transplantation patients between January 2005 and October 2008 were divided into two groups according to urinary tract reconstruction approach: ureteroneocystostomy group (40 cases) and ureteroureterostomy group (40 cases). Complications including leakage of urine, vesicoureteral reflux, obstruction of ureter and urinary tract infection were recorded. Results In ureteroneocystostomy group and ureteroureterostomy group, the patients were followed up for 13 - 46 (24.5 ± 8.9), 13 - 46 (26.0 ± 7.2) months postoperatively, urinary complications were recorded for 10 eases (25.0%, 10/40) and 4 cases (10.0%, 4/40)(P > 0.05), incidence of leakage of urine were 2.5%(1/40)and 5.0%(2/40) (P > 0.05), vesicoureteral reflux were 10.0% (4/40) and 0 (P < 0.05), obstruction of ureter were 0 and 5.0% (2/40) (P > 0.05), and urinary tract infection were 12.5% (5/40) and 0 (P < 0.05).Conclusions Compared with ureteroneoc ystostomy, ureteroureterostomy can reduce the incidence of vesicoureteral reflux and urinary tract infection,it can be regarded as the first choice for urinary tract reconstruction after kidney transplant recipients.
