Objective To determine the range of total serum bilirubin(TSB) of healthy term newborns during the first post natal week in Huainan region of Anhui province and provide the theoretical basis for the neonatal jaundice intervention in this region.Methods The bilirubin analyzer for capillary blood was used to measure TSB level of 1257 healthy term newborns during the first post natal week,P25,P50,P75 and P95 were recorded at every time point,the peak serum bilirubin(PSB) and the time it appeared was observed.50 blood samples were randomly selected and the TSB level was measured by the routine laboratory method,at the same time,the serum bilirubin level was measured by bilirubin analyzer for capillary blood.Then,the linear correlation coefficient of capillary blood bilirubin level and TSB level was calculated and statistically analyzed,and at last got the linear regression model.The newborns'skin xanthochromia coverage scales and TSB levels were recorded in order to get the corresponding TSB level in terms of xanthochromia coverage.Results In this study,the serum bilirubin P25,P50,P75 and P95 of 1 257healthy term newborns were 58.64μmol/L,72.51μmol/L L,102.44μmol/L,120.35 μmol/L,respectively in the first day,2nd day 105.41μmol/L,119.72μmol/L,150.18μmol/L,185.30μmol/L,3rd day 128.85μmol/L,157.951μmol/L,191.22μmol/L,227.61μmol/L,4th day 160.24μmol/L,191.40μmol/L,216.65μmol/L,277.49μmol/L,5th day 164.26μmol/L,179.51 μmol/L,209.88μmol/L,263.74μmol/L,6th day 131.87mol/L,172.73μmol/L,195.57μmol./L,231.26μmol/L,and the 7th day 118.94μmol/L,157.57μmol/L,204.83μmol/L,223.84μmol/L,with PSB 294.46μmoL/L appeared at the fourth day.The correlafionship was existed between the capillary blood bilirubin measurement and the routine laboratory method (r =0.948,t =21.067).The TSB level was (1 12.3 ± 6.2) μmol/Lwhen the xanthochromiawas on thehead,(165.1 ± 2 6.7) μmol/Lon the chest,(214.0 ±30.8) μmol/L on the belly,(268.5 ± 28.2) μmol/L on the knee or elbow,and ＞ 271.7μ mol/L on the palm or sole of the foot.Conclusion The TSB variation rang is 120.35 ～ 223.84μmol/L within 7 days after their birth in Huainan region of Anhui province,capillary blood bilirubin is reliable in measuring serum bilirubin level of newborns ; visual assessment of xanthochromia coverage is also an easy and feasible way of estimating serum bilirubin level initially.

The discovery of limbal stem cells is the key advancement in ophthalmology in the 20th century.Many clinical researches have proved that limbal stem cells transplantation is an effective method to treat severe ocular surface diseases.However, some important issues associated with the identification,isolation,standardized culture in vitro and differentiation after transplantation are still not clear and need to be paid more attention.Strengthening the underlaying research in this field will play important role in treating corneal blindness.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of interventional occlsu ion operait no by analyizn g thes urgical data of 23 csa es of infants with patent ductusa rteriosus complicated with middle and severe pulmo an ry arterial hypertension.Methods Teh 23 cases of infants wiht patne t ductus arteriosus com-plicated with middlea nd severe pulmonary arterial hypertensionw ere collected in the hospital from January 2011 to December2014 .These infatn s rce eived transcateh ter occlusion with intravenuo s anesthesia after the preoperative examination.The operation procse s included:right ventriculography and pulmonary atr ery pressure tested,then lateral angiogar phy of descending aorta was performed to observe the type and size of patent ud ctus atr eriosus and measure ascending aorta,descending aortic pressure,and recorded the pressure re-spectively.1 ml blood sample of ascending aorta,pulmonary artery and inef rior vena vein respectively was used for gas analysis.All these data was used to calculate pulmonary vascular resistance.After tried to plug-ging effectiveyl we can release the occluder.In the postoperative 24 h,1 month,3 months,the infants should be measured with Doppler echocardiography,chest X ray and electrocardiogram examination.Results The clinical symptoms disappeared and the short-term follow-up was not associated with the complications of interventional therapy.Th e comparison of the pressure changes before and after the operation were performed as following, aortic per ssure decreased [ preoperation ( 68.3 ±17.5 )/( 21.4 ±3.7 ) mmHg, postoperation (52.4 ±8.7)/(15.6 ±3.5) mmHg,1 mmHg=0.133 kPa],ascending aorta pressure increased(preoperation (83.5 ±5.9)/(51.3 ±3.6) mmHg,postoperation(88.2 ±5.1)/(52.4 ±2.7) mmHg),and descending aorta pressure increased ( preoperation ( 81.4 ±3.3 )/( 48.2 ±2.7 ) mmHg, postoperation ( 86.5 ±4.7 )/(51.5 ±3.2) mmHg), the differences were statistically significant before and after surgery ( t =5.455/3.945 ,P<0.01;t=-2.696/-1.193 , P<0.05; t=-4.167/-3.745 , P<0.01 ) .Conclusion Under conditions of mastering the appropriate operation time and strengthening the management of the perioperative management,transcatheter measurement is safe and effective for infants with patent ductus arteriosus compli-cated with middle and severe pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Malignant gliomas are the most common intracranial tumors,with a highly invasive nature and a poor prognosis. The invasion of malignant gliomas is a complicate and consecutive multi-step process that includes adhesion, degradation and migration and involves various factors such as cell adhesion molecules, enzymes, and cytokines. Research on the invasive properties of malignant gliomas will advance our understanding of their underlying biological behavior and improve clinical treatment.

In this paper, we described that using wistar rat rather than Lewis rat, an animal model ofexperimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) was established. 12 out of 17 rats showedtypical clinical syndroms and pathological changes, and also developed significant delayed-typeskin hypersen-sitivity reaction to the pathogenic antigen-homogenate of guinea pig spinal cord.The cytotoxicity assay demonstrated that the T-cells of EAE rats can specifically lyse the braintissue of normal rats with specific release rate of 15.1l?t 2.79% which is positive correlativewith clinical severity of EAE. The T cell vaccine was prepared by activating EAE T-cells withConA and then treating with glutaraldehyde. Normal rats were inoculated with this T cell vac-cine and challenged with pathogenic antigen one week later. The result showed that all seven ratsgot complete resistance to EAE. T cells from vaccinated animals can specifically lyse the EAE Tcells with specific release rate of 9.38?1.68%.These results indicated: (a)wistar rat can be used for EAE animal model; (b)The incidence ofEAE is associa ted with the auto-reactive T cellsof EAE animals; (c)Inocula tion of this T cellvaccines can prevent the development of EAE, and this protective effect is also mediated by Tcells.

Objective: To study the acute and long-term toxicity of brucea javanica oil subnanoemulsion injections ( BJOSI ) . Methods:The mice were given BJOSI by intravenous injection. The acute toxicity was observed and LD50 in mice was calculated by Bliss method. To observe the long-term toxicological effects, Beagle dogs were injected intravenously BJOSI once a day for 8-week du-ration with the dose of 20, 10 and 6 ml·kg-1 , respectively followed by 3-week recovery period. Results:LD50 of BJOSI in mice was 7. 388 g·kg-1 with 95% confidence limits of 6. 306-8. 656 g·kg-1 . The long term toxicity test showed that all the detected indices were within normal range in all groups, including general state, weight changes,hematological indices,biochemical indices,EEG,organ coefficients, morphological and histological changes, while there was an upward tendency of ALT and Cr in every BJOSI group without dose-effect correlation. The dogs could completely recover in three weeks after the administration. Conclusion:The results suggest that BJOSI has low toxicity,while the pathological changes are reversible, and attention should be paid to the function of liver and kidney.

Objective To compare the safety and efficacy of sirolimus-eluting stents (SES) and Pixel stents (PS) for treatment of coronary small vessel disease. Methods From March 2003 to January 2005, 67 patients with coronary small vessel disease were randomly divided into two groups: group A (n=34) and group B (n=33). Group A was treated with SES and group B with PS. The procedural success rate, major adverse cardiac events, restenosis rate and late lumen loss were compared between two groups. Results Procedural success rate in both groups was 100% without remained stenosis and cardiac complications. There were 30 patients in group A and 29 in group B whose quantitative coronary angiography was obtained 9 months after the procedure. Two patients in group A had recurrent angina because of in-stent restenosis, and 6 out of 7 patients with the angina in group B had angiographic evidence of in-stent restenosis. No death occurred in both groups during clinical follow-up. Angiographic restenosis rate was 6.7% in group A and 20.7% in group B (P
