Objective To develop a system achieving automated real-time tracking and localizing of tumor center in radiotherapy. Methods High-accuracy infrared tracking cameras' coordinate system was calibrated with the treatment machine. A kind of passive marker was introduced, which can be imaged by computed tomography and can be localized by the infrared cameras during radiotherapy. Several markers on the surface of the thermal-shaped film were fixed, and then the real-time co-ordinates of the markers was compared with those obtained from the computed tomography. With subsequent space registration, the position biases could be shown finally, which could help achieving the real-time tracking and localizing of the tumor center. Results With infrared tracking cameras and appropriate software, the system can achieve automated and real-time localization in radiotherapy. Conclusion The system is more automated, accurate and speedy than the traditional localization method.

Objective To evaluate the effects of pregnancy weight control program based on structure- process- outcome model to improve women′s health status and pregnancy outcomes. Methods On the basis of Donabedian′s structure- process- outcome quality of care model, a pregnancy weight control program designed and carried out for the middle and late pregnancy. The structure, process and outcome of the pregnancy weight control program were evaluated to ensure the quality of the pregnancy weight control program. In addition, the women′s pregnancy outcomes were investigated after intervention. Results the prenatal BMI in the intervention group [ (23.06±1.11) kg/m2 ] were lower than those in the control group [(25.52±1.89) kg/m2 ], and the incidence of cesarean section (including cesarean section without indication), neonatal macrosomia, labor block, neonatal asphyxia, postpartum hemorrhage, pregnancy induced diabetes and hypertension in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group, P<0.01 or 0.05. Conclusion Donabedian′s structure- process- outcome quality of care program is an effective approach to improve women′s pregnancy outcomes.

Two regression models, based on panel data over the period of 2000-2011, are built and used to analyze what factors determine China's exports of primary and semi-finished products of traditional Chinese medicine to ASEAN. The results indicate that, China GDP, the ratio of ASEAN to China GDP per capita, average export price, the ratio of state-owned assets to total assets, have a significant positive influence on the export volumes of primary products of Chinese medicine. At the same time, RMB appreciation, the ratio of three kinds of foreign-invested assets to total assets, China-ASEAN Early Harvest Program, ASEAN-China Free Trade Area have a significant negative influence. In respect of the export volumes of semi-finished products of Chinese medicine, the significant influential factors are ASEAN GDP and the ratio of ASEAN to China GDP per capita. The former is positive and the latter is negative. In order to optimize the commodity composition of experts, it is needed to increase export volumes of both primary and semi-finished products of Chinese medicine. According to the analysis above, some proposals are put forward, such as, improving the performance of foreign capital, playing an exemplary and leading role in technological innovation by state-owned enterprises, taking advantage of bargaining power of suppliers, increasing outward foreign direct investment.

Objective To study clinical features, treatment and prognosis of nasal NK/T cell lymphoma associated Hemophagocytic Syndrome (HPS).Methods Retrospectively analysis method was used to analyze the clinical data of 3 patients with nasal NK/T cell lymphoma associated HPS. Results 3 patients with nasal NK/T cell lymphoma fulfilled the criteria of HPS. All patients had adverse prognostic factors of lymphoma.1 patient developed HPS as the main primary manifestations of underlying lymphoma,the other 2 patients developed HPS during lymphoma progression. In three cases, bone marrow was infiltrated with lymphoma cells.When HPS occurred,the disease progressed rapidly.The most obvious clinical features were fever,pancytopenia,hypofibrinogenemia,hyperferritinemia,and hemophagocytosis in bone marrow. After being treated according to the HLH-2004 combined with chemotherapy, all patients showed a clinical response,but with the progression of lymphoma,HPS quickly relapsed,and all patients died of severe hepatic dysfunction,coagulopathy,or DIC.Conclusion Nasal NK/T lymphoma associated HPS is an invariably fatal disease with poor prognosis,typically occurring at advanced stage or the terminal phase of the disease.HLH-2004 based protocol in combination with chemotherapy is helpful for nasal NK/T cell lymphoma associated HPS,which may delay disease progression and provid opportunities for the treatment of primary disease.

Objective To investigate the methylation situation of let‐7a‐3 promoter in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and its clinical significance .Methods The methylation level of let‐7a‐3 promoter in the bone marrow mononuclear cells of 52 CML patients and 25 controls was detected by using the real‐time quantitative methylation‐specific PCR (RQ‐PCR) .Results The non-hypomethylation of let‐7a‐3 promoter was positive in 31 cases(59 .6% ) of 52 CML patients ,while only 1 case(4% ,1/25) in the control group ,the difference between the two groups were statistically significant (P< 0 .01) .The ROC curve analysis showed that the non -hypomethylation of let‐7a‐3 has better specificity for the auxiliary diagnosis of CML .The significantly posi‐tive correlation was found between the non -methylation level of let‐7a‐3 promoter and the BCR/ABL transcription level (r=0 .641 ,P=0 .001) .In contrast ,there was no obvious correlation between the non -methylation level of let‐7a‐3 promoter and the WBC count ,platelet count and hemoglobin levels(P>0 .05) .The non-hypomethylation level of let‐7a‐3 in chronic phase and accel‐erate phase was significantly higher than that in blastic crisis of CML .Conclusion The hypomethylation level of let‐7a‐3 promoter is decreased with disease progression .

Objective To investigate the influences of mutation at precore and basic core promoter(BCP) region in hepatitis B virus(HBV) on the immune response of specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes(CTL) in patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB).Methods The number of specific CTL in peripheral blood mononuclear(PBMC) of CHB patients were tested by cytokine flow cytome- try(CFC) and HBV core18-27 peptide.HBV precore and BCP fragments were directly sequenced. Objective To investigate the characteristics of central cord syndrome without fracture or dislocation and assess the effect of surgical management.Methods Twenty-one cases of central cord syndrome without fracture or dislocation were diagnosed with X-ray radiography,CT and MRI and treated surgically.Spinal cord dysfunction and its recovery rate were evaluated using American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA) system.Radiological and clinical evaluation was performed for all cases.Pre-and postoperative ASIA scale and score were statistically analyzed.Results All cases sustained cervical spinal cord compression resulting from cervical disc herniation in 18 cases,of which five were accompanied by ligamentum flavum hypertrophy and reductus,developmental cervical spinal canal stenosis in two cases and posterior longitudinal ligament ossification in one case.Neurological dysfunction involved in the upper extremity in 15 cases and upper and lower extremity in six cases.Mean period of follow-up was 13.5months.ASIA scale was improved from C (n =9) and D (n =12) before operation to C (n =1),D (n =6) and E (n =14) in the last follow-up.ASIA score of motor and sensory dysfunction revealed a (84.3 ±12.5)％ and (62.7 ± 14.6)％ improvements,with significant difference as compared with the preoperative one (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Cervical disc herniation is the major factor of spinal cord compression in central cord syndrome without fracture and dislocation.Neurological dysfunction occurs mostly in the upper extremity.Surgery is an effective method to release spinal cord compression and restore neurological function.
