2.The correlation of HBV outer membrane large protein and HBV-DNA and its clinical significance
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2009;30(3):234-235,239
Objective To detect HBV outer membrane large protein(HBV-LP) and HBV-DNA, and to explore their correlation in judging the pathogenetic condition and HBV replication, as well as its clinical significance. Methods Serum level of HBV-DNA was quantitatively detected by u-sing real-time polymerase chain reaction, and while HBV-LP and HBV markers were measured with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) in infected sera from 238 patients with hepatitis B. Re-suits There was significant difference of detection rate between HBV-DNA and HBV-LP(P<0. 05).The expression of HBV-DNA and HBV-LP had significantly difference among various patterns of HBV serological markers(P<0.05). HBV-LP expression was markedly correlated with the logarithm of HBV-DNA level(r=0. 677,P<0.01). Conclusion There is a prefect correlation between the copies of HBV-DNA and the level of HBV-LP, but HBV-LP expression can not still reflect the status ofHBV replication.
3.Relationship between Hepatitis B Virus Variation and TCM Syndrome Types in HBeAg-Negative Patients of Chronic Hepatitis B
Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1993;0(06):-
Objective:To probe the relationship between hepatitis B virus(HBV) variation and TCM syndrome types in HBeAg-negative patient of chronic hepatitis B.Methods:Eighty-four cases of HBeAg-negative patient of chronic hepatitis B were divided into 5 syndrome types according to TCM differentiation.C gene promoter (BCP area) and pre-C gene termination variation in HBV were detected with gene chip for HBV mutation detection. Results:There was no significant correlativity between generation of HBV variation and TCM syndrome types in HBeAg-negative patient of hepatitis B as compared with HBeAg-positive patient; The variation rate of the BCP area and/or the pre-C area was 34.5% in prevailing excess syndrome group and 65.5% in the prevailing deficiency group, the former being higher than the latter. Conclusion:There is correlativity between variation of BCP area and/or pre-C area and TCM syndrome types, with the variation rate of the excess syndrome being lower than that of the deficiency syndrome.

6.Stability of tissue engineering bone in the repair of bone defects:material degradation and bone formation
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(12):1938-1942
BACKGROUND:Scaffold materials are the important part of tissue engineering bone, and the ideal biodegradation speed of the scaffold materials can be in accordance with the regeneration speed of bone formation in order to achieve a long-term stability. OBJECTIVE:To summarize the biodegradability of different types of currently available scaffold materials and its relationship with bone formation. METHODS:The PubMed and CNKI database were searched by the first author using the key words of “tissue engineering bone, composite scaffold, scaffold degradation” in English and Chinese for articles addressing biodegradability of scaffold materials and its relationship with bone formation published during January 1996 and December 2013. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Many scaffold materials under organic, inorganic and organic-inorganic categories have been available and the current studies focus on inorganic materials and organic-inorganic composite materials. In vivo andin vitro studies indicate the different characteristics and relative merits of these scaffold materials. Organic materials have a relatively slow degradation rate while inorganic materials can completely degrade but have an insufficient mechanical property. For organic-inorganic composite materials, further studies are needed.
