China Medical Equipment 2013;(11):131-132
Neck lumbar traction bed is through the computer control motor and hydraulic transmission device, implementation of traditional Chinese medicine traction, Angle rotation and manual reduction action of a device, etc. Saving time and effort can well meet the needs of the treatment on lumbar disease. Based on the failure phenomenon of traction bed hydraulic transmission device, the composition and working principle analysis of the hydraulic system, concluded that failure of the hydraulic transmission device is due to the pressure gauge damaged or blocked between the tubing and the overflow valve, which allows users to quickly troubleshoot.
2.Therapeutic observation of Tui-pushing Wujing plus Chinese patent medicine for infantile diarrhea due to spleen deficiency
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2019;17(5):336-343
Objective: To observe the therapeutic efficacy of pediatric tuina plus Chinese patent medicine for preschool kids with diarrhea due to spleen deficiency. Methods:Ninety-two eligible kids were divided into a tuina plus Chinese patent medicine and a Chinese patent medicine group by the random number table, with 46 cases in each group. The Chinese patent medicine group was intervened by oral administration of Qi Wei Bai Zhu San (Seven-ingredientAtractylodes MacrocephalaPowder); the tuina plus Chinese patent medicine group was additionally given pediatric tuina therapy once a day, 20 min each time. Efficacy and safety were evaluated after 7-day treatment in both groups, and a 14-day follow-up was conducted. Results:After treatment, the symptom scores all changed significantly in the two groups (allP<0.05). After intervention, the symptom scores in the tuina plus Chinese patent medicine group were significantly different from those in the Chinese patent medicine group (allP<0.05). The total effective rate was 78.3% in the Chinese patent medicine group, versus 89.1% in the tuina plus Chinese patent medicine group, and the between-group difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Three cases got a relapse in the Chinese patent medicine group, versus one case in the tuina plus Chinese patent medicine group, and the between-group difference was statistically insignificant (P>0.05). The two groups each had one case of vomiting, which were treated properly and turned better. No other adverse reactions occurred. Conclusion: Tuina plus Chinese patent medicine and Chinese patent medicine alone both are effective for diarrhea due to spleen deficiencyin kids, but the combined therapy can produce more significant efficacy.
3.Depth of pedicle screw into the vertebral body and its stability:a biomechanical analysis
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(9):1289-1294
BACKGROUND:Effects of pedicle screw placement on fracture reduction or stability of mechanics are influenced by various factors. Pedicle screw fixation failure is mainly due to fracture, loosening and fatigue. The main influential factors for biomechanical stability of pedicle screw are length and diameter. The research on the depth is less. OBJECTIVE:To analyze the relationship between pedicle screw placement depth of vertebral body and the fixed stability based on the biomechanics. METHODS: A model of single vertebral compression fractures was made in 15 pigs aged 5 months on L2 vertebral specimen. According to the length of anteroposterior diameter, vertebral pedicle screws were inserted in different depths (80%, 90% and 100% of anteroposterior diameter). After fixation, specimens were loaded 10 000 times at the frequency of 0.5 Hz (340±125) N on a WDT-10KN type universal material testing machine. Ranges of motion at anteflexion, backward extension, left bending and right bending and the maximum axial pulout force were measured in each group, and the difference of intergroup data was compared. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) Ranges of motion at anteflexion, backward extension, left bending and right bending in each group were significantly smaler in the 100% and 90% groups than in the 80% group (P < 0.05), and above parameters were smaler in the 100% group than in the 90% group (P< 0.05). (2) After fatigue test, the maximum axial pulout force was significantly larger in the 100% and 90% groups than in the 80% group (P< 0.05), and above data were significantly larger in the 100% group than in the 90% group (P < 0.05). (3) Results indicate that the depth into the vertebral body was significantly associated with its fixed stability. The deeper the depth into the vertebral body, the stronger the vertebral stability was: 100% group > 90% group > 80% group.
4.Effects of Compound Danshen Dripping Pill on Carotid Intima ̄media Thickness and Cardiac Function of Patients with Hypothyroidism
Herald of Medicine 2015;(11):1462-1465
Objective To investigate the effects of compound danshen dripping pill (CDDP) on carotid intima ̄media thickness (CIMT) and cardiac function in patients newly diagnosed as hypothyroidism. Methods The total of 40 subclinical hypothyroidism patients and 40 hypothyroidism cases was enrolled. The clinical hypothyroidism patients were treated with L ̄T4 as the conventional treatment, and comprehensive CDDP plus levothyroxine (L ̄T4 ) as treated groups (CDDP group) for 6 months. The therapeutic effect was evaluated by combining with data of thyroid function, blood lipid profile and ultrasound. The 40 healthy subjects were chosen as normal control group. Results Compared with normal control group, the levels of TC and LDL ̄C were higher (P<0.05) in subclinical hypothyroidism group, which were more obvious in the clinical hypothyroidism group (P<0.01), CIMT increased markedly (P<0.05), the left ventricular systolic functions (ejection fraction) and diastolic functions (mitral flow velocity E and A wave ratio) were markedly decreased (P<0.05) in the clinical hypothyroidism group.Upon treatment, the blood ̄lipids were improved (P<0.05), CIMT were reduced (P<0.05), the left ventricular functions were restored to near normal with the attainment of euthyroidism in both groups of clinical hypothyroidism;the reduction of CIMT and the improvement of the left ventricular functions were faster in CDDP group than that in the conventional treatment group (P<0.05). Conclusion Disturbance of blood lipid in hypothyroidism patients, CIMT growth and impaired left ventricular function objectively indicate the existence of cardiac and cerebral vascular risk, while CDDP helps improving lipid metabolism, reversing CIMT and cardiac function, reducing cardiovascular risk, blocking or delaying cardiovascular event chains.

9.Significance of serum levels of inhibin B in women with polycystic ovary syndrome during controlled ovarian stimulation
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2015;(23):3601-3603,3604
Objective To explore the dynamic variation of inhibin B(INHB)in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)in the course of controlled ovarian stimulation(COS).To analyze the correlation between the increment of serum INHB and the dosage of Gn and the number of oocytes in PCOS.Methods Immunohistochemistry was performed to assess the level of INHB in 90 patients with PCOS and 20 normal childbearing period women in the course of COS.We collected the blood samples of all the patients on the third day of the menstrual(day 3),the day start to administrate exogenous gonadotropin(Gn day),five days later of the Gn day(Gn5 day)and the day of HCG injection(HCG day),respectively. Results Compared with the control group, the serum level of INHB was higher in the PCOS group, regardless day3,Gn day,Gn5 day and HCG day,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.01).In the course of COS,the level of serum INHB in the tow groups was increased. In the PCOS group, the greater the ΔINHB(the growth of the serum level of INHB on Gn5 day),the less of the Gn dosage, and the more number of oocytes retrieved. Conclusion In the process of COS,the serum level of INHB has obvious change. The serum levels of INHB reduce after pituitary down -regulation,then increase after COS.
10.Analysis of the characteristic of pharyngeal paraesthesia patients by high resolution manometry.
Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2015;29(17):1553-1555
OBJECTIVE:
To discuss the pressure changing characteristics of upper esophageal sphincter (UES), lower esophageal sphincter (LES) and the esophagus kinetic characteristics of pharyngeal paraesthesia patients.
METHOD:
To take high resolution manometry in 44 cases of pharyngeal paraesthesia patients and 23 normal subjects separately. According to the RSI score, the 44 patients were divided into group A (the group without reflux, RSI < 13, n = 25) and group B (the group with reflux, RSI ≥ 13, n = 19).
RESULT:
The UES average resting pressure and average residual pressure of patients group were higher than the control group (P < 0.05); The UES average resting pressure and average residual pressure of group B were higher than group A (P < 0.05); The LES average resting pressure and average residual pressure of group B were lower than group A and the control group (P < 0.05); The comparison of LES average resting pressure and average residual pressure between group A and the control group was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). The esophagus DCI of group B was lower than that of group A and control group (P < 0.05). The esophagus DCI comparison between group A and control group was not statistically significant (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSION
The pharyngeal paresthesia symptoms of'patients was associated with the increasing of UES pressure. The pharyngeal paresthesia symptoms of group with reflux was related to low pressure of LES and high pressure of UES. The last part of esophagus of group with reflux had obstacles in powers, which weaken the peristalsis and declined the ability to clear the bolus and gastric reflux material.
