Recently, the incidence of both diabetes mellitus and diabetic foot has been increasing.Ischemia, neuropathy, and infection are major causes of diabetic foot ulcer. In addition to other conventional treatments, hyperbaric oxygen is an effective adjunctive therapy with less side-effects. Hyperbaric oxygen may play a role through different mechanisms in improving the prognosis of diabetic foot.

BACKGROUND:Studies have shown that bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel transplantation can improve disease conditions by reducing inflammation.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the therapeutic efficacy of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels on chronic asthma rats.
METHODS: A rat model of chronic asthma was established by intraperitonealy injected and aerosolized ovalbumin. After modeling, rats were given 4×105 and 8×105 bone marrow mesenchymal stem celsvia the tail vein, respectively. Thirty days later, the lung tissues were observed pathologicaly using hematoxylin-eosin staining; RT-qPCR and ELISA methods were employed to test the changes in interleukin-10, tumor necrosis factor-α and interferon-γ levels in lung tissue and peripheral blood, respectively.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Rat models of chronic asthma were successfuly established after intraperitoneal injection of ovalbumin combined with aerosolized ovalbumin. After 30 days of cel treatment, the structure of lung tissues were obviously recovered, and the levels of interleukin-10, tumor necrosis factor-α and interferon-γ showed some improvement in lung tissue and peripheral blood, but there were no differences between the two groups. In conclusion, bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels show some potential role in the treatment of chronic asthma.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2001;0(10):-
Objective To study the outcome of lost gallstones in peritoneal cavity. Methods Gallstones and bile collected from 51 patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy were analysed and cultured. One to three gallstones from each patient were placed into the peritoneal cavity of a corresponding Wistar rat on sterile condition. Results 8 rats died of peritoneal infection, intestinal fistula and ileus within one month. Abdominal wall abscess occured to one rat. All survival rats were sacrificed three months later. Pathologic results showed that the nidus of abscess appeared in tissue around the stone. Conclusions Lost gallstone is harmful to body. We should avoid gallstone lost in peritoneal cavity.

Chinese Journal of Nephrology 1997;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the effect of recombinant rat augmenter of liver regeneration (rrALR) on the biological activities of rat glomerular mesangial cell(GMC) with or without IL-1?. Methods GMC proliferation and the level of TGF-? protein were determined by 3H-TdR incorporation and ELISA. Results The stimulating activity of IL-1? to rat GMC was enhanced by rrALR with the concentrations from 0.005 pg/ml to 0. 1ng/ml. But rrALR could not promote the proliferation of GMC without IL-1?. Conclusion rrALR may be a new mediator of inflammation, which promote proliferation and TGF-? secretion in rat GMC stimulated by IL-1?.

China Pharmacy 1991;0(04):-
OBJECTIVE:To optimize the preparation technique of norcantharidin liposome(NL) and study its pharmaceutical properties. METHODS: With envelopment efficiency(EE), mean particle size and span of the liposome as indexes, the effects of thin-film dispersion method, injection method, reverse phase evaporation and reverse phase film-evaporation method on the EE and particle size of the NL were evaluated. And the uniform design was used to optimize the reverse phase film-evaporation preparation technique of NL with the amount of phospholipid (X1), the mass ratio of phospholipid/ cholesterol (X2), the sonde-type ultrasounding times (X3), the dilution times of buffer phosphate (X4), the volume ratio of oil/water phase (X5) and the mass ratio of lipoids/ drug (X6) as integrated indexes. A verification test was performed on the optimal technique. RESULTS: The formulation prepared by reverse phase film-evaporation technique exhibited the best EE. The preparation conditions of the optimized NL were as follows: X1=200 mg; X2=7∶1; X3=20 times; X4=50 times; X5=1∶4; X6=30∶1. The verification test showed that the EE, the mean particle size and the span of the liposome were (42.5?1.3)%, (210.9?2.1) nm and (0.61?0.12), respectively. CONCLUSION: NL was prepared successfully.

When the tracheotomy and tracheal intubation patients were treated in hyperbaric oxygen chamber, not ordi-nary facemask but specially made therapeutic facilities should be used.To select a more reasonable therapeutic facility for patients treatment in HBO chamber, all kinds of hyperbaric oxygen therapeutic facilities for the tracheotomy and tracheal intubation patients of our country in recent years are introduced from the aspects of material,facility,impermeability,ther-apeutic efficiency, influences on oxygen concentration in chamber, the advantages and disadvantages of each kind were demonstrated.

Chinese Journal of Medical Genetics 2021;38(5):409-413
Karyotyping analysis is a classical cytogenetic method for the prenatal diagnosis of fetal chromosomal aberrations. In order to standardize fetal chromosomal karyotyping analysis and adapt to the development of medical genetics technology, the Committee for the Prevention and Control of Birth Defect, Chinese Association of Preventive Medicine has organized the formulation of this guideline. The content has covered general requirements and standards for the analysis of fetal chromosomal karyotypes, analysis of chromosomal mosaicisms, and methods for determining the resolution of G-banding, etc., with the purpose to serve the clinical practice.

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2000;0(10):-
AIM: To determine the relationship between antigen-induced airway inflammation characterized by pulmonary eosinophilia and bronchial hyperreactivity in rats, and to evaluate the effect of theophylline at different doses. METHODS: In ovalbumin (OA)-sensitized rats, bronchiole wall area, eosinophils around bronchi, and the responses to methacholine (MCh) aerosol were measured after 1% OA aerosol challenge with computer-assisted techniques. RESULTS: OA challenge caused both inflammation and airway hyperreactivity, and there was a significantly positive correlation between them. Oral theophylline (1-12.5 mg/kg, bid for 7 days) attenuated antigen-induced inflammation (swelling of bronchiole walls and pulmonary eosinophilia) and bronchial hyperreactivity. CONCLUSION: These findings confirm that bronchial hyperreactivity positively correlates to airway inflammation in the rat, and suggest that theophylline at relatively lower doses has anti-inflammatory effect in airway allergic reaction.
