Objective To investigate the diagnosis and treatment of aggressive fibromatosis after thyroidectomy. Methods One patient who were admitted into our hospital on January 16,2014 were discovered to have left cervical mass at the regular follow-up 8 months after opertaion. The ultrasonic examination showed that there were low echo area of 58 mm ×30 mm in the 3 ~5 muscular layer at the left neck. And it was diagnosed as aggressive fibromatosis through the puncture disease inspection.Whereafter, the patient were readmitted into hospital and recieved radical resection of the tumor on left side of the neck. The clinical, pathological and radiological data of the patient were collect-ed and analyzed so ao to discuss the diagnosis and treatment experience combined with related literatures. Results Postoperative pathologic examination confirmed that it was aggressive fibromatosis. The patient was actively cooperated with perioperative treatment, and the postoperative recovery was good with no local recurrence during the follow-up up to now. Conclusion Early diagnosis and surgical treatment are needed for patients with aggressive fibromatosis after thyroidectomy.

A rapid and sensitive analytical method was developed for the simultaneous determination of fumonisins B1 and B2 in traditional Chinese medicines by HPLC-MS/MS. The detection limits for fumonisins B1 and B2 were 0.25 ng x mL(-1) corresponding to 2 microg x kg(-1) in samples. Recoveries from different samples spiked with fumonisins B1 and B2 at levels ranging from 0.2 to 3 mg x kg(-1) were 84.0%-96.1% and 86.3%-99.3%, respectively. Among the total of 34 samples purchased from local markets, ten samples of which were visibly moldy samples due to inappropriate storage, and 24 were normal samples. The results showed that 6 of the visibly moldy samples and 5 of the normal samples were contaminated with total fumonisins at levels ranging 82.4-2349 microg x kg(-1) and 102-729 microg x kg(-1), respectively.

Objective To detect the changes of cerebral perfusion in patients with MELAs syndrome by using MR perfusion technique. Methods Thirteen patients with MELAS syndrome and 13 controls with normal neurological conditions were scanned with the sequence of flow-sensitive alternating inversion recovery exempting separate T1 measurement(FAIREST).Their rCBF values were obtained in regions of bilateral basilar nuclei and thalami,as well as bilateral temporal lobes and occipital lobes.Regression analysis was carried out to determine the effect of location and side on the measurement of rCBF in controls.One-way ANOVA was conducted to compare rCBF values among the control group.the lesion ROIs and normal ROIs of the MELAS syndrome group. Results The values of rCBF were 0.83±0.23,1.17±0.30.0.93±0.28,and 1.11±0.25 for the left basilar ganglia, thalamus, temporal lobe, and occipital lobe respectively, while they were 0.77±0.15,1.03±0.34,1.06±0.23,and 1.09±0.23 for the right basilar ganglia, thalamus, temporal lobe.and occipital lobe respectively.Regression analysis revealed no effect of location and side on the rCBF (P>0.05).The rCBF value for control group was 1.00±0.28,while it was 1.01±0.31 for the normal ROIs and 1.95±0.43 for the lesion ROIs in the MELAS syndrome group(F=54.99.P<0.01).The rCBF of the lesion ROIs in the MELAS syndrome group was significantly higher than the normal ROIs and the control group. Conclusion CBF maps can reveal changes of cerebral blood flow in patients with ietal MELAS,which suggests increased perfusion in the stroke-like lesions.

Objective To study the effect of liver transplantation using right liver lobe Ⅴ and Ⅷ segments with middle hepatic vein(MHV) and without main MHV on the regeneration of liver transplantation. Methods 25 pair of donors and receptors of liver transplantation were divided in to two groups:with M HV group (group A, n= 14) and without main MHV (group B, n=11). The volumes of Ⅴ and Ⅷ segments of liver were measured in donors presurgicaUy,half month and 3 month in receptors postsurgically, the rates of regeneration of the Ⅴ and Ⅷ segment were calculated half month and 3 months postsurgically and compared between two groups. Results In group A,the regenerate rates of the Ⅴ,Ⅷ segment were 0.360±0.043 and 0.853±0.059 half month after surgery,0.253±0.043 and 0.708±0.059 three months after surgery respectively. In group B, the regenerate rates of the Ⅴ,Ⅷ segment were 0.306±0.049 and 0.815±0.066, respectively half month after graft, 0.161±0.049 and 0.627±0.066, respectively three months after surgery. There were no statistically significant differences in regenerate rates of the Ⅴ, Ⅷ segment of graft be-tween the two groups (P= 0.685 ,P>0.05 and P= 0.738, P>0.05). Conclusion The right lobe living donor liver transplantation, maintaining the MHV or reconstruct MHV tributaries without MHV has similar effects on the regeneration of Ⅴ,Ⅷ segment of graft.

Objective To study the effect of moxonidine (Mox) on the His bundle electrogram (HBE) of normal rabbits. Methods A total of 24 healthy rabbits were randomly divided into four groups: control group, small dose of Mox (0.1 mg?kg -1), medium dose of Mox (0.3 mg?kg -1) and large dose of Mox (0.9 mg?kg -1). The electrode catheter was inserted from the right carotid artery to record the HBE. The HBE and the synchronism surface ECG were recorded before and after intravenous injection. Results In normal rabbits, the R-R interphase, P-R interphase of the ECG and the H-V interphase of the HBE were prolonged in a dose-dependent manner after intravenous injection of Mox. Mox exerted no significant influence on the A-H interphase. Conclusion ① Mox decreases the heart rate of rabbits in a dose-dependent manner in vivo. ② Mox dose-dependently prolongs the P-R interphase of the surface ECG and the H-V interphase of HBE. This indicates that Mox mainly acts on the intraventricular conducting system.

Objective To explore the relationship between the quantitative parameter in transrectal power Doppler ultrasonography (PDUS) and angiogenesis of prostate nodules in pathology. Methods PDUS and the analytic software of color flow were used, and peak vascularization indexs (PVIs) of 94 prostate nodules in 73 patients were recorded. The biopsy specimen was stained with CD34 antibody, and the microvessel density (MVD) was calculated. The correlation between PVI and MVD was statistically analyzed. Results PVI and MVD of the malignant nodules, in both transition zone (TZ) and peripheral zone (PZ), were significantly higher than those of the benign nodules, respectively (P<0.05). There was positive correlation between PVI and MVD of the malignant nodules (rTZ=0.76;rPZ=0.79), but no correlation between PVI and MVD was found in TZ of benign nodules (r=0.18), while there was correlation between PVI and MVD in PZ (r=0.44). In TZ, the sensitivity and speciality of differentiation malignant nodules from benign nodules were 78.57% and 80.77%, respectively, and in PZ they were 62.07% and 91.00%, respectively. Conclusion As a quantitative parameter in PDUS, PVI can indirectly reflect the angiogenesis of prostate cancerous nodules, providing a new method for differentiation malignant nodules from benign nodules.
